Psalms 46
1 To the Overseer. — By sons of Korah. 'For the Virgins.' — A song. God [is] to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely.
Dios es nuestro refugio y nuestra fuerza, una ayuda muy presente en problemas.
2 Therefore we fear not in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
Por esta causa no tendremos temor, aunque la tierra sea removida, y aunque las montañas se hundan en el corazón del mar;
3 Roar — troubled are its waters, Mountains they shake in its pride. (Selah)
Aunque sus aguas rujan y sean turbadas, y aunque las montañas tiemblan a causa de su braveza. (Selah)
4 A river — its rivulets rejoice the city of God, Thy holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
Hay un río cuyas corrientes alegran el lugar de descanso de Dios, el lugar sagrado del santuario del Altísimo.
5 God [is] in her midst — she is not moved, God doth help her at the turn of the morn!
Dios ha tomado su lugar en ella; ella no se conmoverá: vendrá a ayudarla al amanecer de la mañana.
6 Troubled have been nations, Moved have been kingdoms, He hath given forth with His voice, earth melteth.
Las naciones se enojaron, los reinos se conmovieron; al sonido de su voz, la tierra se volvió como la cera.
7 Jehovah of Hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob. (Selah)
El Señor de los ejércitos está con nosotros; el Dios de Jacob es nuestra torre fuerte. (Selah)
8 Come ye, see the works of Jehovah, Who hath done astonishing things in the earth,
Ven, mira las obras del Señor, la destrucción que él ha hecho en la tierra.
9 Causing wars to cease, Unto the end of the earth, the bow he shivereth, And the spear He hath cut asunder, Chariots he doth burn with fire.
Él pone fin a las guerras sobre toda la tierra; por él se rompe el arco, y la lanza se corta en dos, y el carruaje se quema en el fuego.
10 Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
Ríndanse reconozcan que yo soy Dios; seré exaltado entre las naciones, seré honrado por toda la tierra.
11 Jehovah of hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob! (Selah)
El Señor de los ejércitos está con nosotros; el Dios de Jacob es nuestra torre fuerte. (Selah)
