Psalms 46
1 To the Overseer. — By sons of Korah. 'For the Virgins.' — A song. God [is] to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely.
परमेश्वर हाम्रो शरणस्थान र बल, दुःखको समयमा तुरुन्तै पाउन सकिने मदत हुनुहुन्छ ।
2 Therefore we fear not in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
यसकारण, पृथ्वी बद्लिए पनि, पर्वतहरू हल्लाएर समुद्रको पिंधमा खसाइए पनि, हामी डराउँनेछैनौं ।
3 Roar — troubled are its waters, Mountains they shake in its pride. (Selah)
त्यसको पानीहरू गर्जेर उल्लिए पनि र त्यसको गर्जनले पर्वतहरू कामे पनि । सेला
4 A river — its rivulets rejoice the city of God, Thy holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
एउटा नदी छ जसका प्रावाहहरूले परमेश्वरको सहर अर्थात्, सर्वोच्चले वास गर्नुहुने एउटा पवित्र ठाउँलाई हर्षित तुल्याउँछ ।
5 God [is] in her midst — she is not moved, God doth help her at the turn of the morn!
परमेश्वर त्यसको बिचमा हुनुहुन्छ । त्यो डग्नेछैन । परमेश्वरले त्यसलाई सहायता गर्नुहुनेछ र उहाँले बिहानको झिसमिसेमा त्यसो गर्नुहुनेछ ।
6 Troubled have been nations, Moved have been kingdoms, He hath given forth with His voice, earth melteth.
जातिहरू क्रुद्ध भए र राज्यहरू हल्लिए । उहाँले आफ्नो सोर उचाल्नुभयो र पृथ्वी पग्लियो ।
7 Jehovah of Hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob. (Selah)
सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु हामीसँग हुनुहुन्छ । याकूबका परमेश्वर हाम्रो शरण हुनुहुन्छ । सेला
8 Come ye, see the works of Jehovah, Who hath done astonishing things in the earth,
आओ, परमप्रभुको कामहरू, उहाँले पृथ्वीमा ल्याउनुभएको विनाशलाई हेर ।
9 Causing wars to cease, Unto the end of the earth, the bow he shivereth, And the spear He hath cut asunder, Chariots he doth burn with fire.
उहाँले युद्धहरूलाई पृथ्वीको अन्तसम्म बन्द गराउनुहुन्छ । उहाँले धनुहरू भाँच्नुहुन्छ र भालाहरू काट्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले ढालहरूलाई जलाउनुहुन्छ ।
10 Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
शान्त होओ र म नै परमेश्वर हुँ भनी जान । जातिहरूका माझमा म उचालिनेछु । पृथ्वीमा म उचालिनेछु ।
11 Jehovah of hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob! (Selah)
सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु हामीसँग हुनुहुन्छ । याकूबका परमेश्वर हाम्रो शरण हुनुहुन्छ । सेला
