< Psalms 46 >
1 To the Overseer. — By sons of Korah. 'For the Virgins.' — A song. God [is] to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely.
Kuom jatend wer. Mar yawuot Kora. Kaluwore gi dwond alamoth. Wer. Nyasaye e kar pondowa kendo tekowa, en e kar konyruok man kodwa seche duto.
2 Therefore we fear not in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
Emomiyo ok wabi luor, kata bed ni piny okethore kendo gode mukore e chuny nam,
3 Roar — troubled are its waters, Mountains they shake in its pride. (Selah)
Kata obedoni pige manie nam wuo kendo golo buoyo kata obedo ni gode yiengni kendo dhwolore. (Sela)
4 A river — its rivulets rejoice the city of God, Thy holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
Nitie aora moro ma pige kelo mor e dala Nyasaye, e dala maler kama Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo odakie.
5 God [is] in her midst — she is not moved, God doth help her at the turn of the morn!
Nyasaye odak e iye omiyo ok obi podho; Nyasaye biro konye ka piny oyawore.
6 Troubled have been nations, Moved have been kingdoms, He hath given forth with His voice, earth melteth.
Ogendini nigi chandruok, kendo pinjeruodhi podho; otingʼo dwonde mi piny leny nono.
7 Jehovah of Hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob. (Selah)
Jehova Nyasaye Maratego ni kodwa; Nyasach Jakobo e ohingawa. (Sela)
8 Come ye, see the works of Jehovah, Who hath done astonishing things in the earth,
Biuru uneye tije Jehova Nyasaye, bi uneye kethruok mosekelo e piny.
9 Causing wars to cease, Unto the end of the earth, the bow he shivereth, And the spear He hath cut asunder, Chariots he doth burn with fire.
Omiyo lwenje rumo e tungʼ piny koni gi koni; oturo atungʼ kendo ochodo tongʼ matindo tindo, bende owangʼo kuodi gi mach.
10 Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
“Bed mos, kendo ngʼe ni an Nyasaye; ogendini biro miya duongʼ; piny duto biro miya duongʼ.”
11 Jehovah of hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob! (Selah)
