Psalms 45
1 To the Overseer. — 'On the Lilies.' — By sons of Korah. — An Instruction. — A song of loves. My heart hath indited a good thing, I am telling my works to a king, My tongue [is] the pen of a speedy writer.
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये शोशन्नीम में कोरहवंशियों का मश्कील। प्रेम प्रीति का गीत मेरा हृदय एक सुन्दर विषय की उमंग से उमड़ रहा है, जो बात मैंने राजा के विषय रची है उसको सुनाता हूँ; मेरी जीभ निपुण लेखक की लेखनी बनी है।
2 Thou hast been beautified above the sons of men, Grace hath been poured into thy lips, Therefore hath God blessed thee to the age.
२तू मनुष्य की सन्तानों में परम सुन्दर है; तेरे होठों में अनुग्रह भरा हुआ है; इसलिए परमेश्वर ने तुझे सदा के लिये आशीष दी है।
3 Gird Thy sword upon the thigh, O mighty, Thy glory and Thy majesty!
३हे वीर, तू अपनी तलवार को जो तेरा वैभव और प्रताप है अपनी कमर पर बाँध!
4 As to Thy majesty — prosper! — ride! Because of truth, and meekness — righteousness, And Thy right hand showeth Thee fearful things.
४सत्यता, नम्रता और धार्मिकता के निमित्त अपने ऐश्वर्य और प्रताप पर सफलता से सवार हो; तेरा दाहिना हाथ तुझे भयानक काम सिखाए!
5 Thine arrows [are] sharp, — Peoples fall under Thee — In the heart of the enemies of the king.
५तेरे तीर तो तेज हैं, तेरे सामने देश-देश के लोग गिरेंगे; राजा के शत्रुओं के हृदय उनसे छिदेंगे।
6 Thy throne, O God, [is] age-during, and for ever, A sceptre of uprightness [Is] the sceptre of Thy kingdom.
६हे परमेश्वर, तेरा सिंहासन सदा सर्वदा बना रहेगा; तेरा राजदण्ड न्याय का है।
7 Thou hast loved righteousness and hatest wickedness, Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee, Oil of joy above thy companions.
७तूने धार्मिकता से प्रीति और दुष्टता से बैर रखा है। इस कारण परमेश्वर ने हाँ, तेरे परमेश्वर ने तुझको तेरे साथियों से अधिक हर्ष के तेल से अभिषेक किया है।
8 Myrrh and aloes, cassia! all thy garments, Out of palaces of ivory Stringed instruments have made thee glad.
८तेरे सारे वस्त्र गन्धरस, अगर, और तेज से सुगन्धित हैं, तू हाथी दाँत के मन्दिरों में तारवाले बाजों के कारण आनन्दित हुआ है।
9 Daughters of kings [are] among thy precious ones, A queen hath stood at thy right hand, In pure gold of Ophir.
९तेरी प्रतिष्ठित स्त्रियों में राजकुमारियाँ भी हैं; तेरी दाहिनी ओर पटरानी, ओपीर के कुन्दन से विभूषित खड़ी है।
10 Hearken, O daughter, and see, incline thine ear, And forget thy people, and thy father's house,
१०हे राजकुमारी सुन, और कान लगाकर ध्यान दे; अपने लोगों और अपने पिता के घर को भूल जा;
11 And the king doth desire thy beauty, Because he [is] thy lord — bow thyself to him,
११और राजा तेरे रूप की चाह करेगा। क्योंकि वह तो तेरा प्रभु है, तू उसे दण्डवत् कर।
12 And the daughter of Tyre with a present, The rich of the people do appease thy face.
१२सोर की राजकुमारी भी भेंट करने के लिये उपस्थित होगी, प्रजा के धनवान लोग तुझे प्रसन्न करने का यत्न करेंगे।
13 All glory [is] the daughter of the king within, Of gold-embroidered work [is] her clothing.
१३राजकुमारी महल में अति शोभायमान है, उसके वस्त्र में सुनहले बूटे कढ़े हुए हैं;
14 In divers colours she is brought to the king, Virgins — after her — her companions, Are brought to thee.
१४वह बूटेदार वस्त्र पहने हुए राजा के पास पहुँचाई जाएगी। जो कुमारियाँ उसकी सहेलियाँ हैं, वे उसके पीछे-पीछे चलती हुई तेरे पास पहुँचाई जाएँगी।
15 They are brought with joy and gladness, They come into the palace of the king.
१५वे आनन्दित और मगन होकर पहुँचाई जाएँगी, और वे राजा के महल में प्रवेश करेंगी।
16 Instead of thy fathers are thy sons, Thou dost appoint them for princes in all the earth.
१६तेरे पितरों के स्थान पर तेरे सन्तान होंगे; जिनको तू सारी पृथ्वी पर हाकिम ठहराएगा।
17 I make mention of Thy name in all generations, Therefore do peoples praise Thee, To the age, and for ever!
१७मैं ऐसा करूँगा, कि तेरे नाम की चर्चा पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक होती रहेगी; इस कारण देश-देश के लोग सदा सर्वदा तेरा धन्यवाद करते रहेंगे।
