Psalms 38
1 A Psalm of David, 'To cause to remember.' Jehovah, in Thy wrath reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.
೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ; ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಡ; ರೋಷದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಬೇಡ.
2 For Thine arrows have come down on me, And Thou lettest down upon me Thy hand.
೨ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕಿವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಾಹಸ್ತವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿದೆ.
3 Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Thine indignation, Peace is not in my bones because of my sin.
೩ನಿನ್ನ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ಕ್ಷೇಮವಿಲ್ಲ.
4 For mine iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden — too heavy for me.
೪ನನ್ನ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಳುಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ಅವು ಹೊರಲಾರದಷ್ಟು ಭಾರವಾದ ಹೊರೆಯಂತಿವೆ.
5 Stunk — become corrupt have my wounds, Because of my folly.
೫ನನ್ನ ಮೂರ್ಖತನದ ಫಲವಾದ ಬಾಸುಂಡೆಗಳು, ಕೀವು ಸೋರಿ ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾರುತ್ತಿದೆ.
6 I have been bent down, I have been bowed down — unto excess, All the day I have gone mourning.
೬ನಾನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ವಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
7 For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.
೭ನನ್ನ ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಉರಿಬಡಿದಂತಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಕ್ಷೇಮವಿಲ್ಲ.
8 I have been feeble and smitten — unto excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.
೮ನನಗೆ ಜೋಮುಹಿಡಿದಂತಿದೆ; ಬಹಳ ಮನಗುಂದಿದವನಾದೆನು. ಹೃದಯದ ಸಂಕಟದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅರಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
9 Lord, before Thee [is] all my desire, And my sighing from Thee hath not been hid.
೯ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಂಟು; ನನ್ನ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ನಿನಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
10 My heart [is] panting, my power hath forsaken me, And the light of mine eyes, Even they are not with me.
೧೦ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಚೈತನ್ಯವು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಯಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಮೊಬ್ಬಾಗಿ ಹೋದವು.
11 My lovers and my friends over-against my plague stand. And my neighbours afar off have stood.
೧೧ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ಜೊತೆಗಾರರು, ನನ್ನ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಓರೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ದೂರ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they do deceits meditate all the day.
೧೨ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವವರು ನನಗೆ ಉರುಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ವಿಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಕೋರುವವರು ನನಗೆ ನಾಶನವನ್ನೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
13 And I, as deaf, hear not. And as a dumb one who openeth not his mouth.
೧೩ನಾನಂತೂ ಕಿವುಡನಂತೆ ಕೇಳದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಮೂಕನಂತೆ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
14 Yea, I am as a man who heareth not, And in his mouth are no reproofs.
೧೪ನಾನು ಕಿವಿ ಕೇಳಿಸದವನಂತೆಯೂ, ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಾರದವನಂತೆಯೂ ಆದೆನು.
15 Because for Thee, O Jehovah, I have waited, Thou dost answer, O Lord my God.
೧೫ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನೇ ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವನು.
16 When I said, 'Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot against me they magnified themselves.
೧೬“ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಬಾರದು; ನಾನು ಜಾರಿಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಹಿಗ್ಗಬಾರದು” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
17 For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] before me continually.
೧೭ನನಗೆ ಆಪತ್ತೇ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ; ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನಗೆ ಸಂಕಟವಿದೆ.
18 For mine iniquity I declare, I am sorry for my sin.
೧೮ನಾನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೇ ಎಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ನನಗೆ ವ್ಯಸನವುಂಟಾಯಿತು.
19 And mine enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.
೧೯ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಚುರುಕಾದವರೂ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ಬಹು ಜನ.
20 And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.
೨೦ನಾನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳು ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನೇ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವರು.
21 Do not forsake me, O Jehovah, My God, be not far from me,
೨೧ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕೈ ಬಿಡಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ದೂರವಾಗಿರಬೇಡ.
22 Haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
೨೨ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕನೇ, ಬೇಗ ಬಂದು ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು.
