Psalms 35
1 By David. Strive, Jehovah, with my strivers, fight with my fighters,
೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೊಡನೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಮಾಡು; ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡು.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise for my help,
೨ಖೇಡ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲು.
3 And draw out spear and lance, To meet my pursuers. Say to my soul, 'Thy salvation I [am].'
೩ನೀನು ಭರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಕೊಡಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸು; “ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಯಕೊಡು.
4 They are ashamed and blush, those seeking my soul, Turned backward and confounded, Those devising my evil.
೪ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವರು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ಕಳವಳದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಓಡಲಿ.
5 They are as chaff before wind, And a messenger of Jehovah driving away.
೫ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿ ಹಾರಿಸುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತಾಗಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಬಿಡಲಿ.
6 Their way is darkness and slipperiness, And a messenger of Jehovah their pursuer.
೬ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೂ, ಜಾರಿಕೆಯೂ ಇರುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿ.
7 For without cause they hid for me their netpit, Without cause they digged for my soul.
೭ಅವರು ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಬಲೆಯೊಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ತೋಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 Meet him doth desolation — he knoweth not, And his net that he hid catcheth him, For desolation he falleth into it.
೮ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾಶನವು ಆಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿ; ತಾನು ಹಾಸಿದ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳಲಿ. ತಾನು ತೋಡಿದ ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಲಿ.
9 And my soul is joyful in Jehovah, It rejoiceth in His salvation.
೯ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಹರ್ಷವುಂಟಾಗುವುದು; ಆತನಿಂದಾದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆನಂದಪಡುವೆನು.
10 All my bones say, 'Jehovah, who is like Thee, Delivering the poor from the stronger than he, And the poor and needy from his plunderer.'
೧೦ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವವನಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾತನೇ, “ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾನರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳುವವು.
11 Violent witnesses rise up, That which I have not known they ask me.
೧೧ನ್ಯಾಯವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನರಿಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 They pay me evil for good, bereaving my soul,
೧೨ಅವರು ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಾದೆನು.
13 And I — in their sickness my clothing [is] sackcloth, I have humbled with fastings my soul, And my prayer unto my bosom returneth.
೧೩ನಾನಾದರೋ ಅವರ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಣಿ ತಟ್ಟನ್ನೇ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು; ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
14 As [if] a friend, as [if] my brother, I walked habitually, As a mourner for a mother, Mourning I have bowed down.
೧೪ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದವನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೋ, ಅಣ್ಣನೋ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ತಾಯಿ ಸತ್ತದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವನಂತೆ ನಾನು ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
15 And — in my halting they have rejoiced, And have been gathered together, Gathered against me were the smiters, And I have not known, They have rent, and they have not ceased;
೧೫ಆದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಆಪತ್ತು ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ನಿರಾಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಈ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು, ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
16 With profane ones, mockers in feasts, Gnashing against me their teeth.
೧೬ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವ ಮೂರ್ಖರ ಸಂಗಡ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲುಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
17 Lord, how long dost thou behold? Keep back my soul from their desolations, From young lions my only one.
೧೭ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವಿ? ಅವರ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಪರಮಪ್ರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಆ ಸಿಂಹಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸು.
18 I thank Thee in a great assembly, Among a mighty people I praise Thee.
೧೮ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮಹಾಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಬಹುಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು.
19 Mine enemies rejoice not over me [with] falsehood, Those hating me without cause wink the eye.
೧೯ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಸನ್ನೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದಕೊಡಬೇಡ.
20 For they speak not peace, And against the quiet of the land, Deceitful words they devise,
೨೦ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸಮಾಧಾನಕರವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ; ದೇಶದ ಸಾಧುಜನರನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
21 And they enlarge against me their mouth, They said, 'Aha, aha, our eye hath seen.'
೨೧ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಾಯಿಕಿಸಿದು, “ಆಹಾ, ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಂಡಿತಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
22 Thou hast seen, O Jehovah, Be not silent, O Lord — be not far from me,
೨೨ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನೇ ನೋಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲವೇ; ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವುದೇಕೆ?
23 Stir up, and wake to my judgment, My God, and my Lord, to my plea.
೨೩ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಎದ್ದು ನನಗಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ವಿವಾದವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು.
24 Judge me according to Thy righteousness, O Jehovah my God, And they do not rejoice over me.
೨೪ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪುಕೊಡು; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರಬಾರದು.
25 They do not say in their heart, 'Aha, our desire.' They do not say, 'We swallowed him up.'
೨೫ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಆಶೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರಬಾರದು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ಅವರು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.
26 They are ashamed and confounded together, Who are rejoicing at my evil. They put on shame and confusion, Who are magnifying themselves against me.
೨೬ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು, ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನೂ, ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಲಿ.
27 They sing and rejoice, who are desiring my righteousness, And they say continually, 'Jehovah is magnified, Who is desiring the peace of His servant.'
೨೭ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವರು ಆನಂದದೊಡನೆ ಜಯಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡಲಿ; ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹೇಳುವವರಾಗಲಿ.
28 And my tongue uttereth Thy righteousness, All the day Thy praise!
೨೮ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವುದು.
