< Psalms 35 >

1 By David. Strive, Jehovah, with my strivers, fight with my fighters,
Zaburi mar Daudi. Yaye Jehova Nyasaye kedi gi joma kedo koda; ked gi joma lawa.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise for my help,
Kaw kuodi gi okumbani; aa malo mondo ibi ikonya.
3 And draw out spear and lance, To meet my pursuers. Say to my soul, 'Thy salvation I [am].'
Chom tongʼ ma dhoge bith mar kedo ibwog-go joma lawa. Wuo gi chunya kiwachone niya, “An e warruokni.”
4 They are ashamed and blush, those seeking my soul, Turned backward and confounded, Those devising my evil.
Mad joma dwaro ketho ngimana, ne wichkuot gi achaya. Mad joma chanona hinyruok, chunygi nyosre mi giweya.
5 They are as chaff before wind, And a messenger of Jehovah driving away.
Mad gichal gi mihudhi ma yamo tero, ka malaika mar Jehova Nyasaye riembogi mabor;
6 Their way is darkness and slipperiness, And a messenger of Jehovah their pursuer.
mad yore ma giluwo bed gi mudho bende yoregigo obed makierogi ka malaika mar Jehova Nyasaye lawogi.
7 For without cause they hid for me their netpit, Without cause they digged for my soul.
Nikech gichikona obadhogi kayiem nono kendo gikunyona bur kayiem mondo alwarie;
8 Meet him doth desolation — he knoweth not, And his net that he hid catcheth him, For desolation he falleth into it.
mad kethruok jukgi apoya ka gikia mad obadhogi ma gisechikona makgi; mad gilwar ei bur ma kargi lal nono.
9 And my soul is joyful in Jehovah, It rejoiceth in His salvation.
Eka chunya nobed mamor kuom Jehova Nyasaye kendo anabed gimor kuom warruokne.
10 All my bones say, 'Jehovah, who is like Thee, Delivering the poor from the stronger than he, And the poor and needy from his plunderer.'
Ringra gi chunya duto, biro hulo kawacho niya, “En ngʼa machalo kodi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye.” Ireso joma odhier e lwet joma nigi teko moloyogi, Adier, ikonyo joma odhier gi jochan kuom joma mayogi.
11 Violent witnesses rise up, That which I have not known they ask me.
Joma timo neno ma wengegi tek sudo nyime; gipenja gik ma ok angʼeyo gimoro amora kuomgi.
12 They pay me evil for good, bereaving my soul,
Gichula rach kar ber, kendo giweyo chunya kochwanyore.
13 And I — in their sickness my clothing [is] sackcloth, I have humbled with fastings my soul, And my prayer unto my bosom returneth.
To kane gituo magihewore to ne arwako law ywagruok kendo ne abolora katweyo chiemo. Kane lamona ok odwoki,
14 As [if] a friend, as [if] my brother, I walked habitually, As a mourner for a mother, Mourning I have bowed down.
ne awuotho koni gi koni ka chunya lit, mana ka gima aywago osiepna kata owadwa. Ne akulo wiya ka an gi kuyo maduongʼ mana ka gima aywago minwa.
15 And — in my halting they have rejoiced, And have been gathered together, Gathered against me were the smiters, And I have not known, They have rent, and they have not ceased;
To kane achwanyora, negichokore kaachiel gi mor; joma ne monja nochokorena sa ma ok angʼeyo, negisiko ka giketho nyinga.
16 With profane ones, mockers in feasts, Gnashing against me their teeth.
Kaka joma ok oluoro Nyasaye chayo ji, ne gijara ka gichano timona marach, ne gikayona lekegi.
17 Lord, how long dost thou behold? Keep back my soul from their desolations, From young lions my only one.
Yaye Ruoth, ibiro siko kirango gigi katimore nyaka karangʼo? Res ngimana kuom kethruok duto mag-gi. Akwayi ni ires ngimana ma nengone tek e lwet sibuochegi.
18 I thank Thee in a great assembly, Among a mighty people I praise Thee.
Abiro goyoni erokamano e chokruok maduongʼ; abiro paki e dier oganda maduongʼ mochokore kaachiel.
19 Mine enemies rejoice not over me [with] falsehood, Those hating me without cause wink the eye.
Kik iyie ni jogo osungre ni gisenyala, joma obedo wasika maonge gima omiyo; iyie joma ochaya maonge gimoro sigre gi wengegi mar timona marach.
20 For they speak not peace, And against the quiet of the land, Deceitful words they devise,
Ok giwuo gi kwe, to gichano wacho miriambo, kuom joma odak mos e piny.
21 And they enlarge against me their mouth, They said, 'Aha, aha, our eye hath seen.'
Giyawona dhogi maduongʼ kendo nyiera ka giwachona giwacho niya, “Haa! Haa! Wasenene gi wengewa wawegi.”
22 Thou hast seen, O Jehovah, Be not silent, O Lord — be not far from me,
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, iseneno timgini; kik ilingʼ. Kik ibed koda mabor, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye.
23 Stir up, and wake to my judgment, My God, and my Lord, to my plea.
Aa malo, kendo chungi mondo ikonya! Kedna, yaye Nyasacha kendo Ruodha.
24 Judge me according to Thy righteousness, O Jehovah my God, And they do not rejoice over me.
Yala kichwaka kuom timni makare, yaye Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasacha; kik iyienegi gisungre ni gisenyala.
25 They do not say in their heart, 'Aha, our desire.' They do not say, 'We swallowed him up.'
Kik iwe giwach e chunygi niya, “Ero, otimorene mana kaka ne wadwaro.” Kata giwach niya, “Koro wasemuonye ngili.”
26 They are ashamed and confounded together, Who are rejoicing at my evil. They put on shame and confusion, Who are magnifying themselves against me.
Mad ji duto mamor nikech chandruokna oyud wichkuot kendo pachgi olal; mad joma kaworena oyud wichkuot gi achaya.
27 They sing and rejoice, who are desiring my righteousness, And they say continually, 'Jehovah is magnified, Who is desiring the peace of His servant.'
Mad joma mor kuom loch ma imiya okog gi ilo kod mor; mad gisiki kagiwacho kinde duto niya, “Jehova Nyasaye mondo otingʼ malo nikech omiyo jatichne locho.”
28 And my tongue uttereth Thy righteousness, All the day Thy praise!
Abiro pako timni makare kendo kuom pakni duto odiechiengʼ duto.
