Psalms 29
1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
Un salmo de David. Atribuid a Yahvé, hijos de los poderosos, atribuir a Yahvé la gloria y la fuerza.
2 Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.
Atribuye a Yahvé la gloria que merece su nombre. Adoren a Yahvé en forma sagrada.
3 The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters.
La voz de Yahvé está sobre las aguas. El Dios de la gloria truena, Yahvé sobre muchas aguas.
4 The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty,
La voz de Yahvé es poderosa. La voz de Yahvé está llena de majestad.
5 The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon.
La voz de Yahvé rompe los cedros. Sí, Yahvé rompe en pedazos los cedros del Líbano.
6 And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,
También los hace saltar como un ternero; Líbano y Sirión como un buey joven y salvaje.
7 The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames,
La voz de Yahvé golpea con relámpagos.
8 The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh.
La voz de Yahvé sacude el desierto. Yahvé sacude el desierto de Cades.
9 The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, 'Glory.'
La voz de Yahvé hace parir a los ciervos, y desnuda los bosques. En su templo todo dice: “¡Gloria!”
10 Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king — to the age,
Yahvé se sentó entronizado en el Diluvio. Sí, Yahvé se sienta como Rey para siempre.
11 Jehovah strength to his people giveth, Jehovah blesseth His people with peace!
Yahvé dará fuerza a su pueblo. Yahvé bendecirá a su pueblo con la paz.
