Psalms 28
1 By David. Unto Thee, O Jehovah, I call, My rock, be not silent to me! Lest Thou be silent to me, And I have been compared With those going down to the pit.
Von David. Zu dir, HERR, mein Fels, rufe ich; schweige mir nicht, auf daß nicht, wo du mir schweigst, ich denen gleich werde, die in die Grube hinabfahren!
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, In my crying unto Thee, In my lifting up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
Höre die Stimme meines Flehens, wenn ich zu dir rufe, wenn ich meine Hände aufhebe zum Sprachort deines Heiligtums.
3 Draw me not with the wicked, And with workers of iniquity, Speaking peace with their neighbours, And evil in their heart.
Laß mich nicht weggerafft werden mit den Gottlosen und mit den Übeltätern, die mit ihren Nächsten friedlich reden und doch Böses im Sinne haben!
4 Give to them according to their acting, And according to the evil of their doings. According to the work of their hands give to them. Return their deed to them.
Gib ihnen nach ihrem Tun und nach der Schlechtigkeit ihrer Handlungen; gib ihnen nach den Werken ihrer Hände, vergilt ihnen, wie sie es verdient haben.
5 For they attend not to the doing of Jehovah, And unto the work of His hands. He throweth them down, And doth not build them up.
Denn sie achten nicht auf das Tun des HERRN, noch auf das Werk seiner Hände; er wolle sie zerstören und nicht bauen!
6 Blessed [is] Jehovah, For He hath heard the voice of my supplications.
Gelobt sei der HERR, denn er hat die Stimme meines Flehens erhört!
7 Jehovah [is] my strength, and my shield, In Him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. And my heart exulteth, And with my song I thank Him.
Der HERR ist meine Stärke und mein Schild; auf ihn hat mein Herz vertraut und mir wurde geholfen. Darum frohlockt mein Herz, und mit meinem Liede will ich ihm danken.
8 Jehovah [is] strength to him, Yea, the strength of the salvation of His anointed [is] He.
Der HERR ist seines Volkes Kraft und die rettende Zuflucht seines Gesalbten.
9 Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance, And feed them, and carry them to the age!
Rette dein Volk und segne dein Erbe und weide und trage sie bis in Ewigkeit!
