Psalms 21
1 To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. Jehovah, in Thy strength is the king joyful, In Thy salvation how greatly he rejoiceth.
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನೀನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಜಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಆನಂದಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
2 The desire of his heart Thou gavest to him, And the request of his lips Thou hast not withheld. (Selah)
೨ನೀನು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸದೆ, ಅವನ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ. (ಸೆಲಾ)
3 For Thou puttest before him blessings of goodness, Thou settest on his head a crown of fine gold.
೩ನಾನಾ ಶುಭಗಳೊಡನೆ ನೀನೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಾ; ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
4 Life he hath asked from Thee, Thou hast given to him — length of days, Age-during — and for ever.
೪ಅವನು ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ನೀನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳ ಆಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
5 Great [is] his honour in Thy salvation, Honour and majesty Thou placest on him.
೫ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಕಾರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಗೌರವ ಬಹು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಯಿತು; ಘನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
6 For Thou makest him blessings for ever, Thou dost cause him to rejoice with joy, By Thy countenance.
೬ಅವನಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಾನಂದಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
7 For the king is trusting in Jehovah, And in the kindness of the Most High He is not moved.
೭ಅರಸನು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವನು ಕದಲುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8 Thy hand cometh to all Thine enemies, Thy right hand doth find Thy haters.
೮ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವರು; ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವಿ.
9 Thou makest them as a furnace of fire, At the time of Thy presence. Jehovah in His anger doth swallow them, And fire doth devour them.
೯ನೀನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗುವಾಗ ಉರಿಯುವ ಕುಲುಮೆಯಂತಿದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೂದಿ ಮಾಡುವಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮಹಾಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವನು; ಆತನ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು.
10 Their fruit from earth Thou destroyest, And their seed from the sons of men.
೧೦ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವಿ; ಅವರ ವಂಶದವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಉಳಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
11 For they stretched out against Thee evil, They devised a wicked device, they prevail not,
೧೧ಅವರು ತಂತ್ರೋಪಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ, ನಿನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದು ನಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
12 For Thou makest them a butt, When Thy strings Thou preparest against their faces.
೧೨ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೂಡಿ, ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಸೆದು, ಅವರು ಬೆನ್ನುತೋರಿಸಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವಿ.
13 Be Thou exalted, O Jehovah in, Thy strength, We sing and we praise Thy might!
೧೩ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿಕೋ; ನಾವು ಗಾಯನಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಶೂರತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆವು.
