Psalms 2
1 Why have nations tumultuously assembled? And do peoples meditate vanity?
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡುವುದೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಕುತಂತ್ರ ಮಾಡುವುದೂ ಏಕೆ?
2 Station themselves do kings of the earth, And princes have been united together, Against Jehovah, and against His Messiah:
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ, ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಅರಸರು ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವರು.
3 'Let us draw off Their cords, And cast from us Their thick bands.'
“ಅವರು ಹಾಕಿದ ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ಬೀಸಾಡೋಣ,” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 He who is sitting in the heavens doth laugh, The Lord doth mock at them.
ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿರುವ ದೇವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಗುವರು, ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವರು.
5 Then doth He speak unto them in His anger, And in His wrath He doth trouble them:
ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಸರದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುವರು,
6 'And I — I have anointed My King, Upon Zion — My holy hill.'
“ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತವಾದ ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.”
7 I declare concerning a statute: Jehovah said unto me, 'My Son Thou [art], I to-day have brought thee forth.
ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವೆನು: ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರನು; ಇಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
8 Ask of Me and I give nations — thy inheritance, And thy possession — the ends of earth.
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ಆಗ ನಾನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಾರಸಾಗಿಯೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
9 Thou dost rule them with a sceptre of iron, As a vessel of a potter Thou dost crush them.'
ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಗದೆಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿ, ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಡಕೆಯಂತೆ ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಹಾಕುವೆ.”
10 And now, O kings, act wisely, Be instructed, O judges of earth,
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ರಾಜರುಗಳೇ, ಈಗ ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರಾಗಿರಿ. ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೇ, ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರಿ.
11 Serve ye Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿರಿ, ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಿರಿ.
12 Kiss the Chosen One, lest He be angry, And ye lose the way, When His anger burneth but a little, O the happiness of all trusting in Him!
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡು, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶವಾಗದಂತೆ ಅವರ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಮುದ್ದಿಸಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ರೋಷವು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ವಾಲಿಸುವುದು. ದೇವರ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆಯುವವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧನ್ಯರು.
