Psalms 148

1 Praise ye Jah! Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens, Praise ye Him in high places.

Hvalite Gospoda na nebesima, hvalite ga na visini.

2 Praise ye Him, all His messengers, Praise ye Him, all His hosts.

Hvalite ga, svi anðeli njegovi, hvalite ga, sve vojske njegove!

3 Praise ye Him, sun and moon, Praise ye Him, all stars of light.

Hvalite ga, sunce i mjeseèe, hvalite ga, sve zvijezde sjajne!

4 Praise ye Him, heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens.

Hvalite ga, nebesa nad nebesima i vodo nad nebesima!

5 They do praise the name of Jehovah, For He commanded, and they were created.

Neka hvale ime Gospodnje, jer on zapovjedi i stvoriše se.

6 And He establisheth them for ever to the age, A statute He gave, and they pass not over.

Postavi ih zasvagda i zavavijek, dade naredbu, koja neæe proæi.

7 Praise ye Jehovah from the earth, Dragons and all deeps,

Hvalite Gospoda na zemlji, velike ribe i sve bezdane;

8 Fire and hail, snow and vapour, Whirlwind doing His word;

Oganj i grad, snijeg i magla, vjetar silni, koji izvršuje rijeè njegovu,

9 The mountains and all heights, Fruit tree, and all cedars,

Gore i svi humovi, rodna drveta i svi kedri,

10 The wild beast, and all cattle, Creeping thing, and winged bird,

Zvijeri i sva stoka, bubine i ptice krilate,

11 Kings of earth, and all peoples, Chiefs, and all judges of earth,

Carevi zemaljski i svi narodi, knezovi i sve sudije zemaljske,

12 Young men, and also maidens, Aged men, with youths,

Momci i djevojke, starci i djeca,

13 They praise the name of Jehovah, For His name alone hath been set on high, His honour [is] above earth and heavens.

Neka hvale ime Gospodnje; jer je samo njegovo ime uzvišeno, slava njegova na zemlji i na nebu.

14 And He exalteth the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints, Of the sons of Israel, a people near Him. Praise ye Jah!

On je uzvisio rog naroda svojega, slavu svijeh svetaca svojih, sinova Izrailjevih, naroda, koji je blizu njega.
