Psalms 146

1 Praise ye Jah! Praise, O my soul, Jehovah.

Aleluya. ALABA, oh alma mía, á Jehová.

2 I praise Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

Alabaré á Jehová en mi vida: cantaré salmos á mi Dios mientras viviere.

3 Trust not in princes — in a son of man, For he hath no deliverance.

No confiéis en los príncipes, ni en hijo de hombre, porque no hay en él salud.

4 His spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his earth, In that day have his thoughts perished.

Saldrá su espíritu, tornaráse en su tierra: en aquel día perecerán sus pensamientos.

5 O the happiness of him Who hath the God of Jacob for his help, His hope [is] on Jehovah his God,

Bienaventurado aquel en cuya ayuda es el Dios de Jacob, cuya esperanza es en Jehová su Dios:

6 Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that [is] in them, Who is keeping truth to the age,

El cual hizo los cielos y la tierra, la mar, y todo lo que en ellos hay; que guarda verdad para siempre;

7 Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry.

Que hace derecho á los agraviados; que da pan á los hambrientos: Jehová suelta á los aprisionados;

8 Jehovah is loosing the prisoners, Jehovah is opening (the eyes of) the blind, Jehovah is raising the bowed down, Jehovah is loving the righteous,

Jehová abre [los ojos] á los ciegos; Jehová levanta á los caídos; Jehová ama á los justos.

9 Jehovah is preserving the strangers, The fatherless and widow He causeth to stand, And the way of the wicked He turneth upside down.

Jehová guarda á los extranjeros; al huérfano y á la viuda levanta; y el camino de los impíos trastorna.

10 Jehovah doth reign to the age, Thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise ye Jah!

Reinará Jehová para siempre; tu Dios, oh Sión, por generación y generación. Aleluya.
