Psalms 141
1 A Psalm, by David. O Jehovah, I have called Thee, haste to me, Give ear [to] my voice when I call to Thee.
೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಬೇಗನೆ ಬಾ, ನಾನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು.
2 My prayer is prepared — incense before Thee, The lifting up of my hands — the evening present.
೨ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಧೂಪದಂತೆಯೂ, ನಾನು ಕೈಯೆತ್ತುವುದು ಸಂಧ್ಯಾನೈವೇದ್ಯದಂತೆಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಲಿ.
3 Set, O Jehovah, a watch for my mouth, Watch Thou over the door of my lips.
೩ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಕಾವಲಿರಿಸು, ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳೆಂಬ ಕದವನ್ನು ಕಾಯಿ.
4 Incline not my heart to an evil thing, To do habitually actions in wickedness, With men working iniquity, Yea, I eat not of their pleasant things.
೪ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ದುರಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚದಂತೆಯೂ, ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟರೊಡನೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸದಂತೆಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು. ಅವರ ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನವು ನನಗೆ ಬೇಡವೇ ಬೇಡ.
5 The righteous doth beat me [in] kindness. And doth reprove me, Oil of the head my head disalloweth not, For still my prayer [is] about their vexations.
೫ನೀತಿವಂತರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯಲಿ, ಅದು ನನಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿ, ಅದು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಂತಿದೆ, ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೇಡವೆನ್ನದಿರಲಿ. ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
6 Their judges have been released by the sides of a rock, And they have heard my sayings, For they have been pleasant.
೬ಅವರ ಪ್ರಮುಖರು ಕಡುಬಂಡೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ, ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುವರು, ಅವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಿತವಾಗಿರುವವು.
7 As one tilling and ripping up in the land, Have our bones been scattered at the command of Saul. (Sheol h7585)
೭ಒಬ್ಬನು ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಉಳುತ್ತಾ, ಹೆಂಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಚದರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಪಾತಾಳದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತವೆ. (Sheol h7585)
8 But to Thee, O Jehovah, my Lord, [are] mine eyes, In Thee I have trusted, Make not bare my soul.
೮ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದೆ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಬೇಡ.
9 Keep me from the gin they laid for me, Even snares of workers of iniquity.
೯ಕೆಡುಕರ ಉರುಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು, ಅವರು ಬೀಸಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸು.
10 The wicked fall in their nets together, till I pass over!
೧೦ದುಷ್ಟರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಲಿ, ಆಗ ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
