Psalms 131
1 A Song of the Ascents, by David. Jehovah, my heart hath not been haughty, Nor have mine eyes been high, Nor have I walked in great things, And in things too wonderful for me.
हे परमप्रभु, मेरो हृदय घमण्डी छैन न त मेरा आँखा हठी छन् । आफ्नै निम्ति मसँग ठुला आसाहरू छैनन् न त मैले गर्न नसक्ने कुराहरूको वास्ता म गर्छु ।
2 Have I not compared, and kept silent my soul, As a weaned one by its mother? As a weaned one by me [is] my soul.
वास्तवमा मैले आफ्नो प्राणलाई स्थिर र शान्त बनाएको छु । दूध छोडाएको बालक आमासँग भएझैं, मभित्र मेरो प्राण दूध छोडेको बलकझैं छ ।
3 Israel doth wait on Jehovah, From henceforth, and unto the age!
ए इस्राएल, अहिले र सदासर्वदा परमप्रभुमा नै आसा गर् ।
