Psalms 130

1 A Song of the Ascents. From depths I have called Thee, Jehovah.

Nyimbo yoyimba pokwera ku Yerusalemu. Ndikulirira kwa Inu Yehova ndili mʼdzenje lozama;

2 Lord, hearken to my voice, Thine ears are attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Ambuye imvani mawu anga. Makutu anu akhale tcheru kumva kupempha chifundo kwanga.

3 If iniquities Thou dost observe, O Lord, who doth stand?

Inu Yehova, mukanamawerengera machimo, Inu Yehova, akanayima chilili ndani wopanda mlandu?

4 But with Thee [is] forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.

Koma kwa Inu kuli chikhululukiro; nʼchifukwa chake mumaopedwa.

5 I hoped [for] Jehovah — hoped hath my soul, And for His word I have waited.

Ndimayembekezera Yehova, moyo wanga umayembekezera, ndipo ndimakhulupirira mawu ake.

6 My soul [is] for the Lord, More than those watching for morning, Watching for morning!

Moyo wanga umayembekezera Ambuye, kupambana momwe alonda amayembekezera mmawa, inde, kupambana momwe alonda amayembekezera mmawa,

7 Israel doth wait on Jehovah, For with Jehovah [is] kindness, And abundant with Him [is] redemption.

Yembekeza Yehova, iwe Israeli, pakuti Yehova ali ndi chikondi chosasinthika ndipo alinso ndi chipulumutso chochuluka.

8 And He doth redeem Israel from all his iniquities!
