< Psalms 129 >

1 A Song of the Ascents. Often they distressed me from my youth, Pray, let Israel say:
Waƙar haurawa. Sun yi mini danniya ƙwarai tun ina ƙarami, bari Isra’ila yă ce,
2 Often they distressed me from my youth, Yet they have not prevailed over me.
sun yi mini danniya ƙwarai tun ina ƙarami, amma ba su yi nasara a kaina ba.
3 Over my back have ploughers ploughed, They have made long their furrows.
Manoma sun nome bayana suka yi kunyoyinsu da tsayi.
4 Jehovah [is] righteous, He hath cut asunder cords of the wicked.
Amma Ubangiji mai adalci ne; ya’yantar da ni daga igiyoyin mugaye.
5 Confounded and turn backward do all hating Zion.
Bari dukan waɗanda suke ƙin Sihiyona a juye da su baya da kunya.

Bari su zama kamar ciyawa a kan rufi, wadda takan bushe kafin tă yi girma;
7 That hath not filled the hand of a reaper, And the bosom of a binder of sheaves.
