Psalms 125

1 A Song of the Ascents. Those trusting in Jehovah [are] as Mount Zion, It is not moved — to the age it abideth.

Una canción de ascensos. Los que confían en Yahvé son como el monte Sión, que no se puede mover, sino que permanece para siempre.

2 Jerusalem! mountains [are] round about her, And Jehovah [is] round about His people, From henceforth even unto the age.

Como los montes rodean a Jerusalén, por lo que Yahvé rodea a su pueblo desde este momento y para siempre.

3 For the rod of wickedness resteth not On the lot of the righteous, That the righteous put not forth on iniquity their hands.

Porque el cetro de la maldad no permanecerá sobre la asignación de los justos, para que los justos no usen sus manos para hacer el mal.

4 Do good, O Jehovah, to the good, And to the upright in their hearts.

Haz el bien, Yahvé, a los que son buenos, a los que son rectos de corazón.

5 As to those turning [to] their crooked ways, Jehovah causeth them to go with workers of iniquity. Peace on Israel!

Pero en cuanto a los que se apartan a sus caminos torcidos, Yahvé los llevará con los obreros de la iniquidad. La paz sea con Israel.
