< Psalms 112 >
1 Praise ye Jah! O the happiness of one fearing Jehovah, In His commands he hath delighted greatly.
Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord, and deliteth greatly in his commandements.
2 Mighty in the earth is his seed, The generation of the upright is blessed.
His seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches [are] in his house, And his righteousness is standing for ever.
Riches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.
4 Light hath risen in darkness to the upright, Gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
Vnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.
5 Good [is] the man — gracious and lending, He sustaineth his matters in judgment.
A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.
6 For — to the age he is not moved; For a memorial age-during is the righteous.
Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.
7 Of an evil report he is not afraid, Prepared is His heart, confident in Jehovah.
He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.
8 Sustained is his heart — he feareth not, Till that he look on his adversaries.
His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.
9 He hath scattered — hath given to the needy, His righteousness is standing for ever, His horn is exalted with honour.
He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.
10 The wicked seeth, and hath been angry, His teeth he gnasheth, and hath melted, The desire of the wicked doth perish!
The wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
