Psalms 110

1 A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: 'Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.'

দাউদের গীত। সদাপ্রভু আমার প্রভুকে বলেন: “যতক্ষণ না আমি তোমার শত্রুদের, তোমার পাদপীঠ করি তুমি আমার ডানদিকে বসো।”

2 The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.

সদাপ্রভু জেরুশালেম থেকে তোমার শক্তিশালী রাজ্য বিস্তার করবেন; আর তুমি তোমার শত্রুদের উপর রাজত্ব করবে।

3 Thy people [are] free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.

যখন তুমি যুদ্ধে যাবে, তোমার লোকেরা স্বেচ্ছায় তোমার সেবা করবে। তুমি পবিত্র পোশাকে সজ্জিত হবে, আর ভোরের শিশিরের মতো তোমার শক্তি প্রতিদিন নতুন হবে।

4 Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, 'Thou [art] a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.'

সদাপ্রভু শপথ করেছেন, আর তিনি মন পরিবর্তন করবেন না: “মল্কীষেদকের রীতি অনুযায়ী, তুমি চিরকালীন যাজক।”

5 The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger.

প্রভু তোমার ডানদিকে আছেন; তিনি তাঁর ক্রোধের দিনে রাজাদের চূর্ণ করবেন।

6 He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth.

তিনি জাতিদের বিচার করবেন, আর শবদেহ দিয়ে দেশ পূর্ণ করবেন, এবং সমস্ত পৃথিবীর শাসকদের চূর্ণ করবেন।

7 From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head!

তিনি পথের মধ্যে স্রোতের জলপান করবেন, এবং বিজয়ের কারণে তিনি ঊর্ধ্বে মাথা তুলবেন।
