< Psalms 11 >
1 To the Overseer. — By David. In Jehovah I trusted, how say ye to my soul, 'They moved [to] Thy mountain for the bird?
To the choirmaster of David in Yahweh - I have taken refuge how? will you say to self my (take flight *Q(K)*) mountain your a bird.
2 For lo, the wicked tread a bow, They have prepared their arrow on the string, To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
For there! the wicked they bend! a bow they have prepared arrow their on [the] string to shoot in darkness to [people] upright of heart.
3 When the foundations are destroyed, The righteous — what hath he done?
If the foundations they will be torn down! [the] righteous what? does he do.
4 'Jehovah [is] in his holy temple: Jehovah — in the heavens [is] His throne. His eyes see — His eyelids try the sons of men.
Yahweh - [is] in [the] temple of holiness his Yahweh [is] in the heavens throne his eyes his they see eyelids his they test [the] children of humankind.
5 Jehovah the righteous doth try. And the wicked and the lover of violence, Hath His soul hated,
Yahweh [the] righteous he tests and [the] wicked and [one who] loves violence it hates self his.
6 He poureth on the wicked snares, fire, and brimstone, And a horrible wind [is] the portion of their cup.
He will rain down on wicked [people] snares fire and sulfur and [will be] a wind of burning heat [the] portion of cup their.
7 For righteous [is] Jehovah, Righteousness He hath loved, The upright doth His countenance see!'
For [is] righteous Yahweh righteousness he loves [the] upright they will see faces their.
