Psalms 108

1 A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour.

Mi corazón está firme, oh ʼElohim. Cantaré y entonaré salmos. Esta es mi gloria.

2 Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn.

Despierten, arpa y lira, Yo despertaré el alba.

3 I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations.

Oh Yavé, te daré gracias entre los pueblos. Entre las naciones te cantaré salmos,

4 For great above the heavens [is] Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.

Porque tu misericordia es más grande que los cielos, Y hasta los cielos tu verdad.

5 Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.

Exaltado seas por encima de los cielos, oh ʼElohim, Y tu gloria por encima de toda la tierra.

6 That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save [with] Thy right hand, and answer us.

Para que sean librados tus amados, Salva con tu mano derecha, y respóndeme.

7 God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,

ʼElohim respondió en su Santuario: Yo me alegraré. Repartiré a Siquem. Y mediré el valle de Sucot.

8 Mine [is] Gilead, mine [is] Manasseh, And Ephraim [is] the strength of my head, Judah [is] my lawgiver,

Mío es Galaad, Mío es Manasés. También Efraín es el casco de mi cabeza. Judá es mi cetro.

9 Moab [is] a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually.

Moab es la vasija en la cual me lavo. Sobre Edom lanzaré mi sandalia. Sobre Filistea proclamaré victoria.

10 Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

¿Quién me conducirá a la ciudad fortificada? ¿Quién me guiará hasta Edom?

11 Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts!

¿Tú, mismo, oh ʼElohim, no nos rechazaste? ¿Y no sales con nuestros ejércitos, oh ʼElohim?

12 Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man.

Socórrenos contra el adversario, Porque vana es la liberación del hombre.

13 In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!

Por medio de ʼElohim haremos proezas. Él pisoteará a nuestros enemigos.
