Psalms 105
1 Give ye thanks to Jehovah — call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.
૧યહોવાહનો આભાર માનો, તેમના નામને વિનંતિ કરો; તેમનાં કૃત્યો લોકોમાં પ્રસિદ્ધ કરો.
2 Sing ye to Him — sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.
૨તેમની આગળ ગાઓ, તેમનાં સ્તોત્ર ગાઓ; તેમનાં સર્વ આશ્ચર્યકારક કામોનું મનન કરો.
3 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.
૩તેમના પવિત્ર નામને લીધે તમે ગૌરવ અનુભવો; યહોવાહને શોધનારનાં હૃદય આનંદ પામો.
4 Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.
૪યહોવાહને તથા તેમના સામર્થ્યને શોધો; સતત તેમની હાજરીનો અનુભવ કરો.
5 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.
૫તેમણે જે આશ્ચર્યકારક કામો કર્યાં છે, તે તથા તેમના ચમત્કારો અને તેમના મુખમાંથી નીકળતા ન્યાયચુકાદા યાદ રાખો.
6 O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
૬તેમના સેવક ઇબ્રાહિમના વંશજો, તમે યાકૂબના વંશજો છો, તેમના પસંદ કરેલા, તમે તેમને યાદ કરો.
7 He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
૭તે યહોવાહ, આપણા ઈશ્વર છે. આખી પૃથ્વીમાં તેમનાં ન્યાયનાં કૃત્યો પ્રસિદ્ધ છે.
8 He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,
૮તે પોતાનો કરાર સર્વદા યાદ રાખે છે, હજાર પેઢીઓને આપેલું વચન પાળે છે.
9 That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
૯જે કરાર તેમણે ઇબ્રાહિમ સાથે કર્યો હતો અને ઇસહાક પ્રત્યેની પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરી હતી.
10 And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during,
૧૦તેમણે યાકૂબ માટેના નિયમ તરીકે તેનું સ્થાપન કર્યું તેને તેમણે ઇઝરાયલ માટે સર્વકાળનો કરાર બનાવ્યો.
11 Saying, 'To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,'
૧૧તેમણે કહ્યું, “આ કનાન દેશ હું તમને આપીશ તે સર્વદા તમારું પોતાનું વતન થશે.”
12 In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.
૧૨તેમણે આમ પણ કહ્યું જ્યારે તેઓ અલ્પ સંખ્યામાં હતા, ત્યારે તેઓની વસ્તી ઘણી ઓછી હતી અને તેઓ દેશમાં પ્રવાસીઓ હતા.
13 And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.
૧૩તેઓ એક દેશથી બીજે દેશ અને એક રાજ્યમાંથી બીજા રાજ્યમાં ફરતા.
14 He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.
૧૪તેમણે તેઓ પર કોઈને જુલમ કરવા દીધો નહિ; તેઓને લીધે તેમણે રાજાઓને શિક્ષા કરી.
15 'Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.'
૧૫તેમણે કહ્યું, “મારા અભિષિક્તોને અડશો નહિ અને મારા પ્રબોધકોને નુકસાન પહોંચાડશો નહિ.”
16 And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.
૧૬તેમણે કનાનની ભૂમિમાં દુકાળ આવવા દીધો; તેમણે અન્નનો આધાર તોડી નાખ્યો.
17 He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.
૧૭તેમણે તેઓની પહેલાં યૂસફને કે જે ગુલામ તરીકે વેચાઈ ગયો હતો તેને મોકલ્યો.
18 They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,
૧૮બંદીખાનામાં તેઓએ તેના પગોએ સાંકળો બાંધી અને તેઓએ લોખંડનાં બંધનો તેના ગળે બાંધ્યાં.
19 Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.
૧૯યહોવાહના શબ્દે પુરવાર કર્યુ કે તે સાચો હતો, ત્યાં સુધી યૂસફ જેલમાં રહ્યો.
20 The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.
૨૦રાજાએ માણસો મોકલીને તેને છોડાવ્યો; લોકોના અધિપતિઓએ તેનો છુટકારો કર્યો.
21 He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.
૨૧તેણે તેને પોતાના મહેલનો કારભારી અને પોતાની સર્વ મિલકતનો વહીવટદાર ઠરાવ્યો.
22 To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.
૨૨કે તે રાજકુમારોને નિયંત્રણમાં રાખે અને પોતાના વડીલોને ડહાપણ શીખવે.
23 And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.
૨૩પછી ઇઝરાયલ મિસરમાં આવ્યો અને ત્યાં હામનાં દેશમાં યાકૂબે મુકામ કર્યો.
24 And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.
૨૪ઈશ્વરે પોતાના લોકોને ઘણા આબાદ કર્યા અને તેમના દુશ્મનો કરતાં વધારે બળવાન કર્યા.
25 He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.
૨૫તેમણે પોતાના લોકો પર દ્વ્રેષ રાખવાને તથા પોતાના સેવકોની સાથે કપટથી વર્તવાને તેઓની બુદ્ધિ ફેરવી નાખી.
26 He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.
૨૬તેમણે પોતાના સેવક મૂસાને અને તેમના પસંદ કરેલા, હારુનને મોકલ્યા.
27 They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
૨૭તેઓએ મિસરના લોકોમાં તેમનાં ચિહ્નો બતાવ્યાં, વળી હામના દેશમાં ચમત્કારો પ્રગટ કર્યા.
28 He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.
૨૮તેમણે પૃથ્વી પર ગાઢ અંધકાર મોકલ્યો, પણ તે લોકોએ તેમની વાતને માની નહિ.
29 He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.
૨૯તેમણે તેઓનું પાણી લોહી કરી નાખ્યું અને તેઓનાં માછલાં મારી નાખ્યાં.
30 Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.
૩૦તેઓના દેશ પર અસંખ્ય દેડકાં ચઢી આવ્યાં, હા, તેઓ છેક રાજમહેલના ઓરડા સુધી ભરાયાં.
31 He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.
૩૧તે બોલ્યા અને માખીઓ તથા જૂનાં ટોળાં આવ્યાં અને તેઓના આખા દેશમાં ફેલાઈ ગયાં.
32 He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.
૩૨તેમણે વરસાદ અને કરા મોકલ્યા, તેઓના દેશમાં ભડભડતો અગ્નિ સળગાવ્યો.
33 And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.
૩૩તેમણે તેઓના દ્રાક્ષવેલાઓ તથા અંજીરીનાં ઝાડોનો નાશ કર્યો તેમણે તેઓના દેશનાં બધાં વૃક્ષો તોડી પાડ્યાં.
34 He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm — innumerable,
૩૪તે બોલ્યા અને અગણિત, તીડો આવ્યા.
35 And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.
૩૫તીડો તેઓના દેશની સર્વ વનસ્પતિ ખાઈ ગયાં; જમીનનાં બધાં ફળ ભક્ષ કરી ગયાં.
36 And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,
૩૬તેઓના દેશમાંના સર્વ પ્રથમજનિતને મારી નાખ્યા, તેઓના મુખ્ય બળવાનોને તેમણે મારી નાખ્યા.
37 And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.
૩૭તે ઇઝરાયલીઓને તેમના સોના તથા ચાંદી સાથે બહાર લાવ્યા; તેઓના કુળોમાં કોઈ પણ નિર્બળ ન હતું.
38 Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.
૩૮જ્યારે તેઓ ગયા ત્યારે મિસરના લોકો આનંદ પામ્યા, કારણ કે મિસરના લોકો તેમનાથી ગભરાઈ ગયા હતા.
39 He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.
૩૯તેમણે આચ્છાદનને માટે વાદળું પ્રસાર્યું અને રાત્રે પ્રકાશ આપવા માટે અગ્નિસ્તંભ આપ્યો.
40 They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.
૪૦ઇઝરાયલીઓએ ખોરાક માગ્યો, તો તેમણે લાવરીઓ આપી અને આકાશમાંની રોટલીઓથી તેઓને તૃપ્ત કર્યા.
41 He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places — a river.
૪૧તેમણે ખડક તોડ્યો એટલે ત્યાં પાણી નીકળ્યું; તે નદી થઈને સૂકી ભૂમિમાં વહેવા લાગ્યું.
42 For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,
૪૨તેમણે પોતાના સેવક ઇબ્રાહિમને આપેલા પોતાના વચનનું સ્મરણ કર્યું.
43 And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.
૪૩તે પોતાના લોકોને, પોતાના પસંદ કરેલાઓને, ખુશીથી પાછા લઈ આવ્યા.
44 And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,
૪૪તેમણે તેઓને વિદેશીઓની ભૂમિ આપી; તે લોકોએ કરેલા શ્રમના ફળનો વારસો તેમને મળ્યો.
45 That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
૪૫કે જેથી તેઓ તેમના વિધિઓનું પાલન કરે અને તેમના નિયમોને પાળે. યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.
