Psalms 105

1 Give ye thanks to Jehovah — call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.

١ قَدِّمُوا الشُّكْرَ لِلرَّبِّ. ادْعُوا بِاسْمِهِ. عَرِّفُوا بِأَعْمَالِهِ بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ.

2 Sing ye to Him — sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.

٢ غَنُّوا لَهُ، اشْدُوا لَهُ. حَدِّثُوا بِكُلِّ عَجَائِبِهِ.

3 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.

٣ تَبَاهَوْا بِاسْمِهِ الْقُدُّوسِ، لِتَفْرَحْ قُلُوبُ طَالِبِي الرَّبِّ.

4 Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.

٤ اطْلُبُوا الرَّبَّ وَقُوَّتَهُ، الْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِماً.

5 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.

٥ اذْكُرُوا عَجَائِبَهُ الَّتِي صَنَعَهَا، مُعْجِزَاتِهِ وَأَحْكَامَهُ الَّتِي نَطَقَ بِها.

6 O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

٦ يَا ذُرِّيَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، يَا بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ الَّذِينَ اخْتَارَهُمْ.

7 He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.

٧ هُوَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، أَحْكَامُهُ تَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ كُلَّهَا.

8 He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,

٨ لَمْ يَنْسَ عَهْدَهُ قَطُّ وَلَا وَعْدَهُ الَّذِي قَطَعَهُ إِلَى أَلْفِ جِيلٍ،

9 That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,

٩ الْعَهْدَ الَّذِي أَبْرَمَهُ مَعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَالْقَسَمَ الَّذِي أَقْسَمَ بِهِ لإِسْحَاقَ.

10 And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during,

١٠ ثُمَّ ثَبَّتَهُ لِيَعْقُوبَ فَرِيضَةً، وَلإِسْرَائِيلَ مِيثَاقاً أَبَدِيًّا،

11 Saying, 'To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,'

١١ قَائِلاً: «لَكَ أُعْطِي أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ نَصِيبَ مِيرَاثٍ لَكُمْ».

12 In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.

١٢ إِذْ كَانُوا قِلَّةً بَعْدُ، نَفَراً ضَئِيلاً مُتَغَرِّبِينَ فِي الأَرْضِ.

13 And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.

١٣ مُتَنَقِّلِينَ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ، وَمِنْ مَمْلَكَةٍ إِلَى أُخْرَى.

14 He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.

١٤ فَلَمْ يَدَعْ أَيَّ إِنْسَانٍ يَظْلِمُهُمْ، بَلْ وَبَّخَ مُلُوكاً مِنْ أَجْلِهِمْ.

15 'Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.'

١٥ قَائِلاً: «لَا تَمَسُّوا مُسَحَائِي، وَلَا تُؤْذُوا أَنْبِيَائِي».

16 And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.

١٦ ثُمَّ أَفْشَى مَجَاعَةً فِي الأَرْضِ، وَقَطَعَ الْخُبْزَ قِوَامَ طَعَامِهِمْ.

17 He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.

١٧ لَكِنَّهُ أَرْسَلَ أَمَامَهُمْ يُوسُفَ، فَبِيعَ عَبْداً.

18 They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,

١٨ آذَوْا بِالْقُيُودِ قَدَمَيْهِ، وَبِالْحَدِيدِ طَوَّقُوا عُنُقَهُ.

19 Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.

١٩ إِلَى أَنْ تَحَقَّقَ تَفْسِيرُهُ لِلأَحْلامِ فِي أَوَانِهِ، وَبَرْهَنَتْ كَلِمَةُ الرَّبِّ صِدْقَهُ.

20 The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.

٢٠ فَأَرْسَلَ الْمَلِكُ وَأَطْلَقَهُ، حَاكِمُ الشَّعْبِ حَرَّرَهُ.

21 He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.

٢١ أَقَامَهُ سَيِّداً عَلَى قَصْرِهِ، وَمُتَسَلِّطاً عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَمْلاكِهِ.

22 To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.

٢٢ يَتَصَرَّفُ بِوُلاتِهِ حَسَبَ مَسَرَّتِهِ، وَيُلَقِّنُ شُيُوخَهُ الْحِكْمَةَ.

23 And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.

٢٣ ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِسْرَائِيلُ إِلَى أَرْضِ مِصْرَ. تَغَرَّبَ يَعْقُوبُ فِي بَلَدِ حَامٍ.

24 And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.

٢٤ فَكَثَّرَ اللهُ شَعْبَهُ، وَجَعَلَهُ أَقْوَى مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِ،

25 He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.

٢٥ الَّذِينَ حَوَّلَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِيُبْغِضُوا شَعْبَهُ، وَيَكِيدُوا لِعَبِيدِهِ.

26 He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.

٢٦ عِنْدَئِذٍ أَرْسَلَ مُوسَى عَبْدَهُ وَهَارُونَ مُخْتَارَهُ.

27 They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.

٢٧ فَأَجْرَيَا بَيْنَهُمْ آيَاتِهِ، وَصَنَعَا عَجَائِبَ فِي مِصْرَ.

28 He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.

٢٨ بَعَثَ ظَلاماً، تَغَشَّتْ بِهِ الأَرْضُ، وَلَكِنَّ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ عَانَدُوا كَلِمَتَهُ.

29 He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.

٢٩ حَوَّلَ مِيَاهَهُمْ إِلَى دَمٍ وَأَمَاتَ أَسْمَاكَهُمْ.

30 Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.

٣٠ فَاضَتْ أَرْضُهُمْ ضَفَادِعَ حَتَّى بَلَغَتْ مَخَادِعَ مُلُوكِهِمْ.

31 He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.

٣١ أَمَرَ فَأَقْبَلَ الذُّبَابُ وَالْبَعُوضُ فَانْتَشَرَ فِي كُلِّ أَرْضِهِمْ

32 He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.

٣٢ أَمْطَرَ عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَداً وَأَلْهَبَ أَرْضَهُمْ بِالْبُرُوقِ.

33 And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.

٣٣ ضَرَبَ كُرُومَهُمْ وَتِينَهُمْ، وَهَشَّمَ كُلَّ أَشْجَارِهِمْ

34 He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm — innumerable,

٣٤ أَمَرَ، فَتَوَافَدَ الْجَرَادُ الطَّيَّارُ وَالزَّحَّافُ بِأَعْدَادٍ لَا تُحْصَى،

35 And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.

٣٥ فَالْتَهَمَ كُلَّ عُشْبِ أَرْضِهِمْ، وَأَكَلَ ثِمَارَ حُقُولِهِمْ.

36 And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,

٣٦ ثُمَّ قَتَلَ الرَّبُّ جَمِيعَ أَبْكَارِ أَرْضِهِمْ، أَوَائِلَ ثِمَارِ خُصُوبَتِهِمْ جَمِيعاً.

37 And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.

٣٧ وَأَخْرَجَ شَعْبَهُ مُحَمَّلِينَ بِفِضَّةٍ وَذَهَبٍ، وَلَمْ يَتَعَثَّرْ فِي الْمَسِيرِ مِنْ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَاحِدٌ.

38 Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.

٣٨ فَرِحَ أَهْلُ مِصْرَ بِخُرُوجِهِمْ لأَنَّ رُعْبَهُمْ غَلَبَ عَلَيْهِمْ.

39 He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.

٣٩ نَشَرَ سَحَابَةً فَوْقَ شَعْبِهِ، غِطَاءً لَهُمْ، وَأَرْسَلَ نَاراً تُضِيءُ لَهُمْ لَيْلاً.

40 They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.

٤٠ طَلَبُوا طَعَاماً فَبَعَثَ لَهُمْ طُيُورَ السَّلْوَى وَمِنْ خُبْزِ السَّمَاءِ أَشْبَعَهُمْ.

41 He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places — a river.

٤١ فَلَقَ الصَّخْرَةَ وَفَجَّرَ مِنْهَا الْمِيَاهَ، فَجَرَتْ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ كَأَنَّهَا نَهْرٌ.

42 For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,

٤٢ لأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَتَهُ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي وَعَدَ بِها إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَبْدَهُ.

43 And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.

٤٣ وَهَكَذَا أَخْرَجَ شَعْبَهُ مِنْ مِصْرَ بِابْتِهَاجٍ وَمُخْتَارِيهِ بِتَرَانِيمِ الظَّفَرِ.

44 And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,

٤٤ وَوَهَبَهُمْ أَرَاضِيَ الأُمَمِ، فَامْتَلَكُوا غَلَّاتٍ تَعِبَتْ فِيهَا شُعُوبٌ أُخْرَى.

45 That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!

٤٥ لِيُمَارِسُوا فَرَائِضَهُ وَيُطِيعُوا شَرَائِعَهُ. هَلِّلُويَا.
