< Proverbs 30 >
1 Words of a Gatherer, son of an obedient one, the declaration, an affirmation of the man: — I have wearied myself [for] God, I have wearied myself [for] God, and am consumed.
Kuwanu waa erayadii Aaguur ina Yaaqeh, oo ahaa reer Masaa. Ninku wuxuu la hadlay Iitii'eel, iyo xataa Iitii'eel iyo Ukaal, oo ku yidhi,
2 For I am more brutish than any one, And have not the understanding of a man.
Hubaal anigu waan ka doqonnimo weynahay nin kastaba, Oo dad waxgarashadiisana ma lihi.
3 Nor have I learned wisdom, Yet the knowledge of Holy Ones I know.
Xigmad ma aan baran, Aqoonta Kan quduuska ahna ma aqaan.
4 Who went up to heaven, and cometh down? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound waters in a garment? Who established all ends of the earth? What [is] His name? and what His son's name? Surely thou knowest!
Yaa samada u baxay, oo ka soo degay? Yaa dabaysha gacmihiisa ku soo ururshay? Yaa biyaha dharkiisa ku guntay? Yaa dhulka darafyadiisa oo dhan dhisay? Magicii, wiilkiisana magicii, haddaad taqaan?
5 Every saying of God [is] tried, A shield He [is] to those trusting in Him.
Eray kasta oo Ilaah waa daahir; Oo isagu wuxuu gaashaan u yahay kuwa isaga aaminsan.
6 Add not to His words, lest He reason with thee, And thou hast been found false.
Erayadiisa waxba ha ku darin, Waaba intaas oo uu ku canaantaa, oo lagu ogaadaa inaad beenaaleh tahay.
7 Two things I have asked from Thee, Withhold not from me before I die.
Laba waxyaalood ayaan ku weyddiistay, Iyaga ha ii diidin intaanan dhiman.
8 Vanity and a lying word put far from me, Poverty or wealth give not to me, Cause me to eat the bread of my portion,
Wax aan waxtar lahayn iyo been iga fogee, Oo caydhnimo iyo taajirnimo midna ha i siin. Igu quudi cunto aanan ka maarmin,
9 Lest I become satiated, and have denied, And have said, 'Who [is] Jehovah?' And lest I be poor, and have stolen, And have laid hold of the name of my God.
Waaba intaasoo intaan dhergo, aan adiga ku inkiraaye, oo aan idhaahdaa, Waa ayo Rabbigu? Amase waaba intaasoo aan miskiin noqdaa, oo intaan wax xado, Aan magaca Ilaahayga si been ah ugu hadal qaadaaye.
10 Accuse not a servant unto his lord, Lest he disesteem thee, and thou be found guilty.
Addoon sayidkiisa xan ha uga sheegin, Waaba intaas oo uu ku habaaraa, oo eed lagugu helaaye.
11 A generation [is], that lightly esteemeth their father, And their mother doth not bless.
Waxaa jira farcan aabbahood inkaara, Oo aan hooyadoodna u ducayn.
12 A generation — pure in their own eyes, But from their own filth not washed.
Waxaa jira farcan isla daahirsan, Oo weliba aan nijaastoodii ka maydhmin.
13 A generation — how high are their eyes, Yea, their eyelids are lifted up.
Waxaa jira farcan indhahoodu aad u sarreeyaan! Oo daboolka indhahoodana kor bay u qaadaan.
14 A generation — swords [are] their teeth, And knives — their jaw-teeth, To consume the poor from earth, And the needy from [among] men.
Waxaa jira farcan ilkahoodu sida seefo oo kale yihiin, oo gowsahooduna sida mindiyo oo kale yihiin, Si ay masaakiinta dhulka uga baabbi'iyaan, oo ay kuwa baahanna dadka dhexdiisa uga dhammeeyaan.
15 To the leech [are] two daughters, 'Give, give, Lo, three things are not satisfied, Four have not said 'Sufficiency;'
Culaacushu waxay leedahay laba gabdhood, oo leh, Na sii, Na sii. Waxaa jira saddex waxyaalood oo aan weligood dhergin, Haah, oo afar aan odhan, Bes, nagu filan;
16 Sheol, and a restrained womb, Earth — it [is] not satisfied [with] water, And fire — it hath not said, 'Sufficiency,' (Sheol )
Waxaana weeye qabriga, iyo maxalka aan wax dhalayn, Iyo dhulka aan biyo ka dhergayn, Iyo dabka aan odhan, Bes, igu filan. (Sheol )
17 An eye that mocketh at a father, And despiseth to obey a mother, Dig it out do ravens of the valley, And eat it do young eagles.
Isha aabbaheed ku majaajiloota, Oo quudhsata inay hooyadeed addeecdo, Waxaa la soo bixi doona tukayaasha dooxada, Oo waxaa cuni doona gorgorrada.
18 Three things have been too wonderful for me, Yea, four that I have not known:
Waxaa jira saddex waxyaalood oo anigu aan aad ula yaabo, Haah, afar baan garan waayay,
19 The way of the eagle in the heavens, The way of a serpent on a rock, The way of a ship in the heart of the sea, And the way of a man in youth.
Oo iyana waxaa weeye siduu gorgor hawada u duulo, Siduu masna dhagax ugu socdo, Siday doonnina badda u maaxdo, Iyo siduu nin gabadh ula macaamiloodo.
20 So — the way of an adulterous woman, She hath eaten and hath wiped her mouth, And hath said, 'I have not done iniquity.'
Sidaas oo kale waxaa ah naag dhillo ah sideeda, Taasoo intay wax cunto afka tirtirta, Oo haddana tidhaahda, Anigu waxba xumaan ma aan samayn.
21 For three things hath earth been troubled, And for four — it is not able to bear:
Saddex waxyaalood ayaa dhulku la gariiraa, Oo afar baanu qaadan karin,
22 For a servant when he reigneth, And a fool when he is satisfied with bread,
Waxaana weeye addoon markuu boqor noqdo, Iyo nacas markuu cunto ka dhergo,
23 For a hated one when she ruleth, And a maid-servant when she succeedeth her mistress.
Iyo naag la nacay markay guursato, Iyo gabadh addoon ahu markay sayidaddeedii meesheeda gasho.
24 Four [are] little ones of earth, And they are made wiser than the wise:
Waxaa jira afar waxyaalood oo dhulka ku yaryar, Laakiinse aad iyo aad u caqli badan.
25 The ants [are] a people not strong, And they prepare in summer their food,
Qudhaanjadu waa sida dad aan xoog badnayn, Laakiinse waxay cuntadooda soo diyaarsadaan guga.
26 Conies [are] a people not strong, And they place in a rock their house,
Walooyinku waa qoon taagdaran, Oo haddana waxay guryahooda ka samaystaan dhagaxyada dhexdooda;
27 A king there is not to the locust, And it goeth out — each one shouting,
Ayaxu boqor ma leh, Weliba dhammaantood guuto guuto ayay u socdaan.
28 A spider with two hands taketh hold, And is in the palaces of a king.
Qorratadu waa wax gacanta lagu qaban karo, Weliba waxay joogtaa guryaha boqorrada.
29 Three there are going well, Yea, four are good in going:
Waxaa jira saddex waxyaalood oo si fiican u socda, Haah, oo afar waa socod wanaagsan yihiin.
30 An old lion — mighty among beasts, That turneth not back from the face of any,
Aar libaax oo ah kan xayawaanka ugu xoogga badan, Oo aan weliba midna dib uga noqon,
31 A girt one of the loins, or a he-goat, And a king — no rising up with him.
Diiqa xarragoonaya, iyo orgiga; Iyo boqorka aanay dadku gees ka ahayn.
32 If thou hast been foolish in lifting up thyself, And if thou hast devised evil — hand to mouth!
Haddaad nacasnimo samaysay adoo isa sarraysiinaya, Ama aad wax shar ah ka fikirtay, Gacanta afka saar.
33 For the churning of milk bringeth out butter, And the wringing of the nose bringeth out blood, And the forcing of anger bringeth out strife!
Waayo, caanihii la lulaa subag bay soo saaraan, Sankii la maroojiyaana dhiig buu keenaa, Sidaas oo kalena cadhadii la qasbaa dirir bay keentaa.
