< Proverbs 24 >

1 Be not envious of evil men, And desire not to be with them.
Dad shar leh ha ka masayrin, Hana jeclaysan inaad iyaga la joogtid.
2 For destruction doth their heart meditate, And perverseness do their lips speak.
Waayo, qalbigoodu wuxuu ka fikiraa kharribaad, Oo bushimahooduna waxay ku hadlaan belaayo.
3 By wisdom is a house builded, And by understanding it establisheth itself.
Guri wuxuu ku dhismaa xigmad, Wuxuuna ku taagnaadaa waxgarasho,
4 And by knowledge the inner parts are filled, [With] all precious and pleasant wealth.
Qawladuhuna aqoontay kaga buuxsamaan Maal kasta oo qaali ah oo qurux badan.
5 Mighty [is] the wise in strength, And a man of knowledge is strengthening power,
Ninkii caqli lahu xoog buu leeyahay, Oo ninkii aqoon lahuna itaal buu sii korodhsadaa.
6 For by plans thou makest for thyself war, And deliverance [is] in a multitude of counsellors.
Waayo, waa inaad talo wanaagsan ku dagaallantaa, Oo waxaa taliyayaal badan la jirta nabadgelyo.
7 Wisdom [is] high for a fool, In the gate he openeth not his mouth.
Xigmaddu nacaska way ka dheer tahay, Isagu xagga iridda afkiisa kuma kala qaado.
8 Whoso is devising to do evil, Him they call a master of wicked thoughts.
Kii ku fikira inuu xumaan sameeyo, Waxaa loogu yeedhi doonaa belaayo-sameeye.
9 The thought of folly [is] sin, And an abomination to man [is] a scorner.
Fikirka nacasnimadu waa dembi, Kii wax quudhsadaana waa u karaahiyo dadka.
10 Thou hast shewed thyself weak in a day of adversity, Straitened is thy power,
Maalinta dhibaatada haddaad liicdid, Itaalkaagu waa yar yahay.
11 If [from] delivering those taken to death, And those slipping to the slaughter — thou keepest back.
Samatabbixi kuwa dhimashada loo wadayo, Kuwa ku dhow in la gowracona dib uga qabo.
12 When thou sayest, 'Lo, we knew not this.' Is not the Ponderer of hearts He who understandeth? And the Keeper of thy soul He who knoweth? And He hath rendered to man according to his work.
Haddaad tidhaahdid, Bal eeg, waxan ma aannu garanayn, Kan qalbiyada miisaamaa miyaanu ka fiirsanayn? Oo kan naftaada dhawraa miyaanu ogayn? Oo miyaanu isagu nin walba ugu abaalgudayn sida shuqulkiisu yahay?
13 Eat my son, honey that [is] good, And the honeycomb — sweet to thy palate.
Wiilkaygiiyow, malab cun, waayo, wuu wanaagsan yahay, Oo waxaad cuntaa awlallada malabka, taas oo kuu dhadhan macaan.
14 So [is] the knowledge of wisdom to thy soul, If thou hast found that there is a posterity And thy hope is not cut off.
Oo xigmadda aqoonteeduna sidaasoo kalay naftaada u ahaan doontaa, Oo haddaad iyada heshid waxaa jiri doona abaalgud, Oo rajadaaduna ma go'i doonto.
15 Lay not wait, O wicked one, At the habitation of the righteous. Do not spoil his resting-place.
Sida nin shar leh, ha u gabban kan xaqa ah gurigiisa, Oo rugtiisa nasashadana ha kharribin.
16 For seven [times] doth the righteous fall and rise, And the wicked stumble in evil.
Waayo, nin xaq ahu toddoba goor buu dhacaa, wuuna soo sara kacaa haddana, Laakiinse kuwa sharka leh waxaa lagu afgembiyaa belaayo.
17 In the falling of thine enemy rejoice not, And in his stumbling let not thy heart be joyful,
Ha rayrayn markuu cadowgaagu dhaco, Oo qalbigaaguna yaanu farxin markuu turunturoodo,
18 Lest Jehovah see, and [it be] evil in His eyes, And He hath turned from off him His anger.
Waayo, waaba intaas oo Rabbigu taas arkaa, oo ay shar la ahaato indhihiisa, Oo uu dabadeedna cadhadiisa ka soo celiyaa isaga.
19 Fret not thyself at evil doers, Be not envious at the wicked,
Xumaanfalayaasha aawadood ha isku dhibin, Kuwa sharka lehna ha ka masayrin,
20 For there is not a posterity to the evil, The lamp of the wicked is extinguished.
Waayo, kii shar leh abaalgud ma heli doono, Oo laambadda xumaanfalayaashana waa la bakhtiin doonaa.
21 Fear Jehovah, my son, and the king, With changers mix not up thyself,
Wiilkaygiiyow, Rabbiga iyo boqorkaba ka cabso, Oo ha ku darsamin kuwa isrogrog badan,
22 For suddenly doth their calamity rise, And the ruin of them both — who knoweth!
Waayo, belaayadoodu si degdeg ah ayay u soo kici doontaa, Oo bal yaa yaqaan baabbi'inta labadoodaba?
23 These also are for the wise: — To discern faces in judgment is not good.
Oo weliba waxyaalahanuna waa wixii ay kuwa caqliga lahaa yidhaahdeen. In dadka garsooridda loogu kala eexdaa ma wanaagsana.
24 Whoso is saying to the wicked, 'Thou [art] righteous,' Peoples execrate him — nations abhor him.
Kii kan shar leh ku yidhaahda, Xaq baad tahay, Dadyowga ayaa habaari doona, oo quruumuhuna way karhi doonaan isaga,
25 And to those reproving it is pleasant, And on them cometh a good blessing.
Laakiinse kuwii isaga canaantaa farxad bay yeelan doonaan, Oo dushoodana waxaa ku soo degi doonta barako wanaagsan.
26 Lips he kisseth who is returning straightforward words.
Kii jawaab qumman ku jawaabaa Bushimuhuu dhunkadaa.
27 Prepare in an out-place thy work, And make it ready in the field — go afterwards, Then thou hast built thy house.
Shuqulkaaga dibadda ku hagaajiso, Oo beerta ku diyaarso, Oo dabadeedna gurigaaga dhiso.
28 Be not a witness for nought against thy neighbour, Or thou hast enticed with thy lips.
Deriskaaga sababla'aan markhaati ha ku furin, Oo bushimahaagana ha ku khiyaanayn.
29 Say not, 'As he did to me, so I do to him, I render to each according to his work.'
Hana odhan, Wixii uu igu sameeyey oo kale ayaan ku samayn doonaa, Oo ninkii sidii shuqulkiisu ahaa ayaan u abaalmarin doonaa.
30 Near the field of a slothful man I passed by, And near the vineyard of a man lacking heart.
Waxaan ag maray ninka caajiska ah beertiisa, Iyo ninka garaadka daran beercanabkiisa,
31 And lo, it hath gone up — all of it — thorns! Covered its face have nettles, And its stone wall hath been broken down.
Oo bal eeg, kulligood waxaa ka baxay qodxan, Oo dhammaantoodna waxaa qariyey maraboob, Oo derbigoodii dhagaxa ahaana waa dumay.
32 And I see — I — I do set my heart, I have seen — I have received instruction,
Markaasaan eegay oo aad uga fiirsaday, Waan fiiriyey oo wax ka bartay.
33 A little sleep — a little slumber — A little folding of the hands to lie down.
Weliba in yar baad seexanaysaa, oo in yar baad gam'aysaa, Oo in yar baad gacmaha hurdo u laabaysaa,
34 And thy poverty hath come [as] a traveller, And thy want as an armed man!
Haddaba caydhnimo waa kuu iman doontaa sida tuug oo kale, Oo baahina sida nin hub sita oo kale.
