< Proverbs 24 >

1 Be not envious of evil men, And desire not to be with them.
Havi vahe'mo'ma hania avu'ava zankura kegasane huge, ana vahe'enema tragotenka mani'zankura, kagesa ontahitfa huo.
2 For destruction doth their heart meditate, And perverseness do their lips speak.

3 By wisdom is a house builded, And by understanding it establisheth itself.

4 And by knowledge the inner parts are filled, [With] all precious and pleasant wealth.
Antahi'zama eri'nenanteti, knare fenozane zago'amo'ma mareri zantamina nonka'afina erinte avitegahane.
5 Mighty [is] the wise in strength, And a man of knowledge is strengthening power,
Ama' antahi'zane vahe'mo'za rama'a hanave eri'zageno, antahi'zama eri vahe'mo'za mago'ane hanavea e'nerize.
6 For by plans thou makest for thyself war, And deliverance [is] in a multitude of counsellors.
Ha'ma hu'zante'ma ama' antahi'zama hunka e'orinesunka, hatera ovuo. Na'ankure rama'a vahe'mo'zama hate'ma vanana kavumro'ma kantesagenka, hara azeri agateregahane.
7 Wisdom [is] high for a fool, In the gate he openeth not his mouth.
Knare antahi'zamo'a mesga hu'neanki'za, neginagi vahe'mo'za erigara osu'nazanki'za, rankumamofo kafante'ma kva vahe'mo'zama atruma hu'zama kema hanafina, mago kea osugahie.
8 Whoso is devising to do evil, Him they call a master of wicked thoughts.
Kefo avu'ava'zama hu antahi'zama retro'ma nehaza vahe'mokizmigura, hazenke vahere hu'za nehaze.
9 The thought of folly [is] sin, And an abomination to man [is] a scorner.
Neginagi avu'ava'ma hu'zama retro'ma hanazana, kumi nehaze. Vahe'ma huhavizama hunezmantea vahe'mofona, vahe'mo'za zamavesra hu'za zamagote'nentaze.
10 Thou hast shewed thyself weak in a day of adversity, Straitened is thy power,
Knazampima unefrenka hanavema otisankeno'a, hanaveka'a omanegosie.
11 If [from] delivering those taken to death, And those slipping to the slaughter — thou keepest back.
Havigema hu'za zamahe frinaku'ma hanaza vahera, zamaza huta zamavareho. Hagi zamahe frinaku hanaza vahera, zamaza huta zamavareho.
12 When thou sayest, 'Lo, we knew not this.' Is not the Ponderer of hearts He who understandeth? And the Keeper of thy soul He who knoweth? And He hath rendered to man according to his work.

13 Eat my son, honey that [is] good, And the honeycomb — sweet to thy palate.
Mofavre'nimoka tume rima'a no, na'ankure knare hu'neankino, kagitera haga hugahie.
14 So [is] the knowledge of wisdom to thy soul, If thou hast found that there is a posterity And thy hope is not cut off.
E'i anahukna huno, ama' antahi'zamo'a kagu'afina haga hugahie. Hagi hakenkama erifore'ma hanankeno'a, henkama erigahue hunka amuha'ma nehana zamo'a, amnezanknara osugahie.
15 Lay not wait, O wicked one, At the habitation of the righteous. Do not spoil his resting-place.
Kefo vahe'moka fatgo vahe'mo'zama nemaniza nontera, zamazeri haviza hunakura kva hunka omanio. Hagi fatgo vahe'mo'za nemaniza kumara eri havizana osuo.
16 For seven [times] doth the righteous fall and rise, And the wicked stumble in evil.
Na'ankure fatgo vahe'mo'za, 7ni'a zupa evuramiga hazanagi, ete otigahaze. Hianagi kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahetema mago hazenkema esuno'a, eme zamazeri haviza hugahie.
17 In the falling of thine enemy rejoice not, And in his stumbling let not thy heart be joyful,

18 Lest Jehovah see, and [it be] evil in His eyes, And He hath turned from off him His anger.
Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a ana'ma hanankeno'a, negageno musena hunoganteno arimpahe zama'a anamofontetira eritregahie.
19 Fret not thyself at evil doers, Be not envious at the wicked,

20 For there is not a posterity to the evil, The lamp of the wicked is extinguished.

21 Fear Jehovah, my son, and the king, With changers mix not up thyself,
Mofavre'nimoka, Ra Anumzamofone kinimofonena koro huneznantenka zanagorga nemaninka, ha'ma reznantesaza vahe'enena magopina tragoteta omaniho.
22 For suddenly doth their calamity rise, And the ruin of them both — who knoweth!
Na'ankure e'inahu vahetera, tusi'a hazenke zamo ame huno egahie. Ra Anumzamo'ene Kini ne'mo enema zamisaza knazana, mago'mo'e huno ontahitfa hugahie.
23 These also are for the wise: — To discern faces in judgment is not good.
Ama' antahi'zama eri'naza vahe'mo'za amanahu ke hugahaze. Nanekema trate refkoma hanuza magomofonkukera osugahaze.
24 Whoso is saying to the wicked, 'Thou [art] righteous,' Peoples execrate him — nations abhor him.
Iza'o kefozama hu'nesia neku'ma, kefozana osune huno'ma hanige'za, rama'a vahe'mo'za anagema hania nekura, huhaviza hunentesageno, kokankoka vahe'mo'za antahi haviza huntegahaze.
25 And to those reproving it is pleasant, And on them cometh a good blessing.
Hu'neanagi iza'zo kefoza hu'nesia neku'ma, kefoza hu'ne hu'zama huama'ma hanamo'za, rama'a asomu eri'za rama'aza antegahaze.
26 Lips he kisseth who is returning straightforward words.
Tamagema huno ke nonama hu'zamo'a, e'i knare kvate knampaka'amo kanukino kantako huganteankna hugahie.
27 Prepare in an out-place thy work, And make it ready in the field — go afterwards, Then thou hast built thy house.
Kotazana hozama antesanaza retro hunka hoza antetenka, henka nonka'a kigahane.
28 Be not a witness for nought against thy neighbour, Or thou hast enticed with thy lips.
Tava'onka'are'ma nemanisimofoma trate'ma kegagama hunentezama, kenana zanku nehazafi huama huo hanagenka, havigea hunka hazenkema osu'nesia zankura, hazenke hu'ne huonto.
29 Say not, 'As he did to me, so I do to him, I render to each according to his work.'
Hagi zamagrama hunantesaza zana nona hu'na huzamantegahue hunka osuge, mago'mo'ma havizama hugantesiana, nona hu'na havizana huntegahue hunka osuo.
30 Near the field of a slothful man I passed by, And near the vineyard of a man lacking heart.
Nagra feru ne'mofo hozafine antahintahi'a omane ne'mofo waini hozafi agatere'na nevu'na koana,
31 And lo, it hath gone up — all of it — thorns! Covered its face have nettles, And its stone wall hath been broken down.

32 And I see — I — I do set my heart, I have seen — I have received instruction,

33 A little sleep — a little slumber — A little folding of the hands to lie down.
Osi'agna nagra navura masehimarege, osi'agna masege, osi'agna nazana anamagi'na manisga huge'ma hanugeno'a,
34 And thy poverty hath come [as] a traveller, And thy want as an armed man!
musufa vahe'mo'za mika fenozmi kumzafa sage'za, mika zazmimo'a ame huno vagaresige'za, zamunte omane vahe maniankna hugahaze.
