Numbers 26

1 And it cometh to pass, after the plague, that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,

Sesudah tulah itu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa dan kepada Eleazar, anak imam Harun:

2 'Take up the sum of all the company of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, every one going out to the host in Israel.'

"Hitunglah jumlah segenap umat Israel, yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas menurut suku mereka, semua orang yang sanggup berperang di antara orang Israel."

3 And Moses speaketh — Eleazar the priest also — with them, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying,

Lalu berkatalah Musa dan imam Eleazar kepada mereka di dataran Moab, di tepi sungai Yordan dekat Yerikho:

4 'From a son of twenty years and upward,' as Jehovah hath commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.

"Hitunglah jumlah semua orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas!" --seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa. Inilah orang Israel yang telah keluar dari tanah Mesir:

5 Reuben, first-born of Israel — sons of Reuben: [of] Hanoch [is] the family of the Hanochite; of Pallu the family of the Palluite;

Ruben ialah anak sulung Israel; bani Ruben ialah dari Henokh kaum orang Henokh; dari Palu kaum orang Palu;

6 of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Carmi the family of the Carmite.

dari Hezron kaum orang Hezron dan dari Karmi kaum orang Karmi.

7 These [are] families of the Reubenite, and their numbered ones are three and forty thousand and seven hundred and thirty.

Itulah kaum-kaum orang Ruben, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah empat puluh tiga ribu tujuh ratus tiga puluh orang.

8 And the son of Pallu [is] Eliab;

Adapun anak Palu ialah Eliab,

9 and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the company, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, in their striving against Jehovah,

dan anak-anak Eliab ialah Nemuel, Datan dan Abiram. Datan dan Abiram, orang-orang yang dipilih oleh umat itu, ialah orang-orang yang telah membantah Musa dan Harun dalam kumpulan Korah, ketika mereka membantah TUHAN,

10 and the earth openeth her mouth, and swalloweth them and Korah, in the death of the company, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign;

tetapi bumi membuka mulutnya dan menelan mereka bersama-sama dengan Korah, ketika kumpulan itu mati, ketika kedua ratus lima puluh orang itu dimakan api, sehingga mereka menjadi peringatan.

11 and the sons of Korah died not.

Tetapi anak-anak Korah tidaklah mati.

12 Sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel [is] the family of the Nemuelite; of Jamin the family of the Jaminite; of Jachin the family of the Jachinite;

Bani Simeon, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Nemuel kaum orang Nemuel; dari Yamin kaum orang Yamin; dari Yakhin kaum orang Yakhin;

13 of Zerah the family of the Zarhite; of Shaul the family of the Shaulite.

dari Zerah kaum orang Zerah dan dari Saul kaum orang Saul.

14 These [are] families of the Simeonite, two and twenty thousand and two hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum orang Simeon, dua puluh dua ribu dua ratus orang banyaknya.

15 Sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon [is] the family of the Zephonite; of Haggi the family of the Haggite; of Shuni the family of the Shunite;

Bani Gad, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Zefon kaum orang Zefon; dari Hagi kaum orang Hagi; dari Syuni kaum orang Syuni;

16 of Ozni the family of the Oznite; of Eri the family of the Erite:

dari Ozni kaum orang Ozni, dari Eri kaum orang Eri;

17 of Arod the family of the Arodite; of Areli the family of the Arelite.

dari Arod kaum orang Arod dan dari Areli kaum orang Areli.

18 These [are] families of the sons of Gad, by their numbered ones, forty thousand and five hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum bani Gad, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah empat puluh ribu lima ratus orang.

19 Sons of Judah [are] Er and Onan; and Er dieth — Onan also — in the land of Canaan.

Anak-anak Yehuda ialah: Er dan Onan; tetapi Er dan Onan itu mati di tanah Kanaan.

20 And sons of Judah, by their families, are: of Shelah the family of the Shelanite; of Pharez the family of the Pharzite; of Zerah the family of the Zarhite;

Bani Yehuda, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Syela kaum orang Syela; dari Peres kaum orang Peres dan dari Zerah kaum orang Zerah.

21 and sons of Pharez are: of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Hamul the family of the Hamulite.

Bani Peres ialah: dari Hezron kaum orang Hezron dan dari Hamul kaum orang Hamul.

22 These [are] families of Judah, by their numbered ones, six and seventy thousand and five hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum Yehuda, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah tujuh puluh enam ribu lima ratus orang.

23 Sons of Issachar by their families; [of] Tola [is] the family of the Tolaite; of Pua the family of the Punite;

Bani Isakhar, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Tola kaum orang Tola; dari Pua kaum orang Pua;

24 of Jashub the family of the Jashubite; of Shimron the family of the Shimronite.

dari Yasub kaum orang Yasub dan dari Simron kaum orang Simron.

25 These [are] families of Issachar, by their numbered ones, four and sixty thousand and three hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum Isakhar, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka, berjumlah enam puluh empat ribu tiga ratus orang.

26 Sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered [is] the family of the Sardite; of Elon the family of the Elonite; of Jahleel the family of the Jahleelite.

Bani Zebulon, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Sered kaum orang Sered; dari Elon kaum orang Elon dan dari Yahleel kaum orang Yahleel.

27 These [are] families of the Zebulunite by their numbered ones, sixty thousand and five hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum orang Zebulon, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah enam puluh ribu lima ratus orang.

28 Sons of Joseph by their families [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.

Keturunan Yusuf, menurut kaum mereka, ialah orang Manasye dan orang Efraim.

29 Sons of Manasseh: of Machir [is] the family of the Machirite; and Machir hath begotten Gilead; of Gilead [is] the family of the Gileadite.

Bani Manasye ialah: dari Makhir kaum orang Makhir; dan Makhir beranakkan Gilead; dari Gilead kaum orang Gilead.

30 These [are] sons of Gilead: [of] Jeezer [is] the family of the Jeezerite; of Helek the family of the Helekite;

Inilah bani Gilead: dari Iezer kaum orang Iezer; dari Helek kaum orang Helek;

31 and [of] Asriel the family of the Asrielite; and [of] Shechem the family of the Shechemite;

dari Asriel kaum orang Asriel; dari Sekhem kaum orang Sekhem;

32 and [of] Shemida the family of the Shemidaite; and [of] Hepher the family of the Hepherite.

dari Semida kaum orang Semida dan dari Hefer kaum orang Hefer.

33 And Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons but daughters, and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad [are] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

Adapun Zelafehad bin Hefer tidak mempunyai anak laki-laki, tetapi anak perempuan saja, dan nama anak-anak perempuan Zelafehad ialah Mahla, Noa, Hogla, Milka dan Tirza.

34 These [are] families of Manasseh, and their numbered ones [are] two and fifty thousand and seven hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum Manasye, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah lima puluh dua ribu tujuh ratus orang.

35 These [are] sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah [is] the family of the Shuthelhite; of Becher the family of the Bachrite; of Tahan the family of the Tahanite.

Inilah bani Efraim, menurut kaum mereka: dari Sutelah kaum orang Sutelah; dari Bekher kaum orang Bekher dan dari Tahan kaum orang Tahan.

36 And these [are] sons of Shuthelah: of Eran the family of the Eranite.

Dan inilah bani Sutelah: dari Eran kaum orang Eran.

37 These [are] families of the sons of Ephraim, by their numbered ones, two and thirty thousand and five hundred. These [are] sons of Joseph by their families.

Itulah kaum-kaum bani Efraim, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah tiga puluh dua ribu lima ratus orang banyaknya. Itulah bani Yusuf menurut kaum mereka.

38 Sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela [is] the family of the Belaite; of Ashbel the family of the Ashbelite; of Ahiram the family of the Ahiramite;

Bani Benyamin, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Bela kaum orang Bela; dari Asybel kaum orang Asybel; dari Ahiram kaum orang Ahiram;

39 of Shupham the family of the Shuphamite; of Hupham the family of the Huphamite.

dari Sefufam kaum orang Sefufam dan dari Hufam kaum orang Hufam.

40 And sons of Bela are Ard and Naaman: [of Ard is] the family of the Ardite: of Naaman the family of the Naamite.

Dan anak-anak Bela ialah Ared dan Naaman; dari Ared kaum orang Ared dan dari Naaman kaum orang Naaman.

41 These [are] sons of Benjamin by their families, and their numbered ones [are] five and forty thousand and six hundred.

Itulah bani Benyamin menurut kaum mereka, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah empat puluh lima ribu enam ratus orang.

42 These [are] sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham [is] the family of the Shuhamite; these [are] families of Dan by their families;

Inilah bani Dan, menurut kaum mereka: dari Suham kaum orang Suham. Itulah kaum-kaum Dan menurut kaum mereka.

43 all the families of the Shuhamite, by their numbered ones, [are] four and sixty thousand and four hundred.

Segala kaum orang Suham, orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah enam puluh empat ribu empat ratus orang.

44 Sons of Asher by their families: of Jimna [is] the family of the Jimnite; of Jesui the family of the Jesuite; of Beriah the family of the Beriite.

Bani Asyer, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Yimna kaum orang Yimna; dari Yiswi kaum orang Yiswi dan dari Beria kaum orang Beria.

45 Of sons of Beriah: of Heber [is] the family of the Heberite; of Malchiel the family of the Malchielite.

Mengenai bani Beria: dari Heber kaum orang Heber dan dari Malkiel kaum orang Malkiel.

46 And the name of the daughter of Asher [is] Sarah.

Dan nama anak perempuan Asyer ialah Serah.

47 These [are] families of the sons of Asher, by their numbered ones, three and fifty thousand and four hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum bani Asyer, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah lima puluh tiga ribu empat ratus orang.

48 Sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel [is] the family of the Jahzeelite; of Guni the family of the Gunite;

Bani Naftali, menurut kaum mereka, ialah: dari Yahzeel kaum orang Yahzeel; dari Guni kaum orang Guni;

49 of Jezer the family of the Jezerite; of Shillem the family of the Shillemite.

dari Yezer kaum orang Yezer dan dari Syilem kaum orang Syilem.

50 These [are] families of Naphtali by their families, and their numbered ones [are] five and forty thousand and four hundred.

Itulah kaum-kaum Naftali menurut kaum mereka, dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah empat puluh lima ribu empat ratus orang.

51 These [are] numbered ones of the sons of Israel, six hundred thousand, and a thousand, seven hundred and thirty.

Itulah orang-orang yang dicatat dari orang Israel, enam ratus satu ribu tujuh ratus tiga puluh orang banyaknya.

52 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:

53 'To these is the land apportioned by inheritance, by the number of names;

"Kepada suku-suku itulah harus dibagikan tanah itu menjadi milik pusaka menurut nama-nama yang dicatat;

54 to the many thou dost increase their inheritance, and to the few thou dost diminish their inheritance; [to] each according to his numbered ones is given his inheritance.

kepada yang besar jumlahnya haruslah engkau memberikan milik pusaka yang besar dan kepada yang kecil jumlahnya haruslah engkau memberikan milik pusaka yang kecil; kepada setiap suku sesuai dengan jumlah orang-orangnya yang dicatat haruslah diberikan milik pusaka.

55 'Only by lot is the land apportioned, by the names of the tribes of their fathers they inherit;

Tetapi tanah itu harus dibagikan dengan membuang undi; menurut nama suku-suku nenek moyang mereka haruslah mereka mendapat milik pusaka;

56 according to the lot is their inheritance apportioned between many and few.'

seperti yang ditunjukkan undian haruslah dibagikan milik pusaka setiap suku, di antara yang besar dan yang kecil jumlahnya."

57 And these [are] numbered ones of the Levite by their families: of Gershon [is] the family of the Gershonite; of Kohath the family of the Kohathite; of Merari the family of the Merarite.

Inilah orang-orang yang dicatat dari orang Lewi, menurut kaum mereka: dari Gerson kaum orang Gerson; dari Kehat kaum orang Kehat dan dari Merari kaum orang Merari.

58 These [are] families of the Levite: the family of the Libnite, the family of the Hebronite, the family of the Mahlite, the family of the Mushite, the family of the Korathite. And Kohath hath begotten Amram,

Inilah kaum-kaum Lewi: kaum orang Libni, kaum orang Hebron, kaum orang Mahli, kaum orang Musi dan kaum orang Korah. Adapun Kehat beranakkan Amram.

59 and the name of Amram's wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom [one] hath born to Levi in Egypt; and she beareth to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

Dan nama isteri Amram ialah Yokhebed, anak perempuan Lewi, yang dilahirkan bagi Lewi di Mesir; dan bagi Amram perempuan itu melahirkan Harun dan Musa dan Miryam, saudara mereka yang perempuan.

60 And born to Aaron Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

Pada Harun lahir Nadab dan Abihu, Eleazar dan Itamar.

61 and Nadab dieth — Abihu also — in their bringing near strange fire before Jehovah.

Tetapi Nadab dan Abihu mati, ketika mereka mempersembahkan persembahan api yang asing ke hadapan TUHAN.

62 And their numbered ones are three and twenty thousand, every male from a son of a month and upwards, for they have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel; for an inheritance hath not been given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.

Dan orang-orang yang dicatat dari mereka berjumlah dua puluh tiga ribu orang, semuanya laki-laki, yang berumur satu bulan ke atas, sebab mereka tidak dicatat bersama-sama dengan orang Israel, karena mereka tidak diberikan milik pusaka di tengah-tengah orang Israel.

63 These [are] those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who have numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, [near] Jericho;

Itulah orang-orang yang dicatat oleh Musa dan imam Eleazar, ketika keduanya mencatat orang-orang Israel di dataran Moab di tepi sungai Yordan dekat Yerikho.

64 and among these there hath not been a man of those numbered by Moses, and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,

Di antara mereka tidak ada terdapat seorangpun yang dicatat Musa dan imam Harun, ketika keduanya mencatat orang Israel di padang gurun Sinai

65 for Jehovah said of them, 'They do certainly die in the wilderness;' and there hath not been left of them a man save Caleb son of Jephunneh, and Joshua son of Nun.

sebab TUHAN telah berfirman tentang mereka: "Pastilah mereka mati di padang gurun." Dari mereka itu tidak ada seorangpun yang masih tinggal hidup selain dari Kaleb bin Yefune dan Yosua bin Nun.
