Numbers 12

1 And Miriam speaketh — Aaron also — against Moses concerning the circumstance of the Cushite woman whom he had taken: for a Cushite woman he had taken;

௧எத்தியோப்பியா தேசத்து பெண்ணை மோசே திருமணம்செய்திருந்தபடியால், மிரியாமும் ஆரோனும் அவன் திருமணம்செய்த எத்தியோப்பியா தேசத்து பெண்ணினால் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசி:

2 and they say, 'Only by Moses hath Jehovah spoken? also by us hath he not spoken?' and Jehovah heareth.

௨“யெகோவா மோசேயைக்கொண்டுமட்டும் பேசினாரோ, எங்களைக்கொண்டும் அவர் பேசினதில்லையோ என்றார்கள். யெகோவா அதைக் கேட்டார்.

3 And the man Moses [is] very humble, more than any of the men who [are] on the face of the ground.

௩மோசேயானவன் பூமியிலுள்ள சகல மனிதர்களிலும் மிகுந்த சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவனாக இருந்தான்.

4 And Jehovah saith suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, 'Come out ye three unto the tent of meeting;' and they three come out.

௪உடனே யெகோவா மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் மிரியாமையும் நோக்கி: “நீங்கள் மூன்று பேரும் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டு வாருங்கள் என்றார்; மூன்றுபேரும் போனார்கள்.

5 And Jehovah cometh down in the pillar of the cloud, and standeth at the opening of the tent, and calleth Aaron and Miriam, and they come out both of them.

௫யெகோவா மேகத்தூணில் இறங்கி, கூடாரவாசலிலே நின்று, ஆரோனையும் மிரியாமையும் கூப்பிட்டார்; அவர்கள் இருவரும் போனார்கள்.

6 And He saith, 'Hear, I pray you, My words: If your prophet is of Jehovah — in an appearance unto him I make Myself known; in a dream I speak with him;

௬அப்பொழுது அவர்: “என்னுடைய வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளுங்கள்; உங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒருவன் தீர்க்கதரிசியாக இருந்தால், யெகோவாவாகிய நான் தரிசனத்தில் என்னை அவனுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தி, சொப்பனத்தில் அவனோடு பேசுவேன்.

7 not so My servant Moses; in all My house he [is] stedfast;

௭என்னுடைய தாசனாகிய மோசேயோ அப்படிப்பட்டவன் அல்ல, என்னுடைய வீட்டில் எங்கும் அவன் உண்மையுள்ளவன்.

8 mouth unto mouth I speak with him, and [by] an appearance, and not in riddles; and the form of Jehovah he beholdeth attentively; and wherefore have ye not been afraid to speak against My servant — against Moses?'

௮நான் அவனுடன் மறைபொருளாக அல்ல, முகமுகமாக பேசுகிறேன்; அவன் யெகோவாவின் சாயலைக் காண்கிறான்; இப்படியிருக்க, நீங்கள் என்னுடைய தாசனாகிய மோசேக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேச, உங்களுக்குப் பயமில்லாமல் போனது என்ன என்றார்.

9 And the anger of Jehovah burneth against them, and He goeth on,

௯யெகோவாவுடைய கோபம் அவர்கள்மேல் மூண்டது; அவர் போய்விட்டார்.

10 and the cloud hath turned aside from off the tent, and lo, Miriam [is] leprous as snow; and Aaron turneth unto Miriam, and lo, leprous!

௧0மேகம் கூடாரத்தை விட்டு நீங்கிப்போயிற்று; மிரியாம் உறைந்த மழையின் வெண்மைபோன்ற தொழுநோயாளியானாள்; ஆரோன் மிரியாமைப் பார்த்தபோது, அவள் தொழுநோயாளியாக இருக்கக் கண்டான்.

11 And Aaron saith unto Moses, 'O, my lord, I pray thee, lay not upon us sin [in] which we have been foolish, and [in] which we have sinned;

௧௧அப்பொழுது ஆரோன் மோசேயை நோக்கி: “ஆ, என்னுடைய ஆண்டவனே, நாங்கள் புத்தியீனமாகச் செய்த இந்தப் பாவத்தை எங்கள்மேல் சுமத்தாமலிரும்.

12 let her not, I pray thee, be as [one] dead, when in his coming out from the womb of his mother — the half of his flesh is consumed.'

௧௨தன் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் பாதி மாம்சம் அழுகிச் செத்துவிழுந்த பிள்ளையைப்போல அவள் ஆகாமலிருப்பாளாக” என்றான்.

13 And Moses crieth unto Jehovah, saying, 'O God, I pray Thee, give, I pray Thee, healing to her.'

௧௩அப்பொழுது மோசே யெகோவாவை நோக்கி: “என்னுடைய தேவனே. அவளைக் குணமாக்கும் என்று கெஞ்சினான்.

14 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'And her father had but spat in her face — is she not ashamed seven days? she is shut out seven days at the outside of the camp, and afterwards she is gathered.'

௧௪யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “அவளுடைய தகப்பன் அவளுடைய முகத்திலே காறித் துப்பினால், அவள் ஏழுநாட்கள் வெட்கப்படவேண்டாமோ, அதுபோலவே அவள் ஏழுநாள் முகாமிற்குப் புறம்பே விலக்கப்பட்டிருந்து, பின்பு சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளப்படவேண்டும் என்றார்.

15 And Miriam is shut out at the outside of the camp seven days, and the people hath not journeyed till Miriam is gathered;

௧௫அப்படியே மிரியாம் ஏழு நாட்கள் முகாமிற்குப் புறம்பே விலக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாள்; மிரியாம் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளப்படும்வரை மக்கள் பயணம் செய்யாமலிருந்தார்கள்.

16 and afterwards have the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and they encamp in the wilderness of Paran.

௧௬பின்பு, மக்கள் ஆஸரோத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, பாரான் வனாந்திரத்திலே முகாமிட்டார்கள்.
