who may not receive back manifold more in this time, and in the coming age, life age-during.' (aiōn , aiōnios )
who will not receive much more in this world, and in the world to come, eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
And Jesus answering said to them, 'The sons of this age do marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn )
Jesus said to them, “The sons of this world marry and are given in marriage. (aiōn )
but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the rising again that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage; (aiōn )
But those who are regarded as worthy in that age to receive the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. (aiōn )
that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during, (aiōnios )
so that all who believe in him may have eternal life. (aiōnios )
for God did so love the world, that His Son — the only begotten — He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during. (aiōnios )
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
he who is believing in the Son, hath life age-during; and he who is not believing the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God doth remain upon him.' (aiōnios )
He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God stays on him.” (aiōnios )
but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst — to the age; and the water that I will give him shall become in him a well of water, springing up to life age-during.' (aiōn , aiōnios )
but whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. Instead, the water that I will give him will become a fountain of water in him, springing up to eternal life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
'And he who is reaping doth receive a reward, and doth gather fruit to life age-during, that both he who is sowing and he who is reaping may rejoice together; (aiōnios )
He who is harvesting receives wages and gathers fruit for everlasting life, so that he who sows and he who harvests may rejoice together. (aiōnios )
'Verily, verily, I say to you — He who is hearing my word, and is believing Him who sent me, hath life age-during, and to judgment he doth not come, but hath passed out of the death to the life. (aiōnios )
Truly, truly, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but he has passed from death to life. (aiōnios )
'Ye search the Writings, because ye think in them to have life age-during, and these are they that are testifying concerning me; (aiōnios )
You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and these same scriptures testify about me, (aiōnios )
work not for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to life age-during, which the Son of Man will give to you, for him did the Father seal — [even] God.' (aiōnios )
Do not work for the food that perishes, but work for the food that endures to eternal life which the Son of Man will give you, for God the Father has set his seal on him.” (aiōnios )
and this is the will of Him who sent me, that every one who is beholding the Son, and is believing in him, may have life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day.' (aiōnios )
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him would have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day.” (aiōnios )
'Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is believing in me, hath life age-during; (aiōnios )
Truly, truly, he who believes has eternal life. (aiōnios )
'I am the living bread that came down out of the heaven; if any one may eat of this bread he shall live — to the age; and the bread also that I will give is my flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.' (aiōn )
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats some of this bread, he will live forever. The bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” (aiōn )
he who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, hath life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day; (aiōnios )
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )
this is the bread that came down out of the heaven; not as your fathers did eat the manna, and died; he who is eating this bread shall live — to the age.' (aiōn )
This is the bread that has come down from heaven, not as the fathers ate and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.” (aiōn )
Simon Peter, therefore, answered him, 'Sir, unto whom shall we go? thou hast sayings of life age-during; (aiōnios )
Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life, (aiōnios )
and the servant doth not remain in the house — to the age, the son doth remain — to the age; (aiōn )
The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. (aiōn )
verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may keep my word, death he may not see — to the age.' (aiōn )
Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.” (aiōn )
The Jews, therefore, said to him, 'Now we have known that thou hast a demon; Abraham did die, and the prophets, and thou dost say, If any one may keep my word, he shall not taste of death — to the age! (aiōn )
The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham and the prophets died; but you say, 'If anyone keeps my word, he will never taste death.' (aiōn )
from the age it was not heard, that any one did open eyes of one who hath been born blind; (aiōn )
Since the world began it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a man born blind. (aiōn )
and life age-during I give to them, and they shall not perish — to the age, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand; (aiōn , aiōnios )
I give them eternal life; they will never die, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
and every one who is living and believing in me shall not die — to the age; (aiōn )
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (aiōn )
he who is loving his life shall lose it, and he who is hating his life in this world — to life age-during shall keep it; (aiōnios )
He who loves his life will lose it; but he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (aiōnios )
the multitude answered him, 'We heard out of the law that the Christ doth remain — to the age; and how dost thou say, That it behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up? who is this — the Son of Man?' (aiōn )
The crowd answered him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ will stay forever. How can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this Son of Man?” (aiōn )
and I have known that His command is life age-during; what, therefore, I speak, according as the Father hath said to me, so I speak.' (aiōnios )
I know that his command is eternal life, so that is what I say—just as the Father has spoken to me, so I speak.” (aiōnios )
Peter saith to him, 'Thou mayest not wash my feet — to the age.' Jesus answered him, 'If I may not wash thee, thou hast no part with me;' (aiōn )
Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” (aiōn )
and I will ask the Father, and another Comforter He will give to you, that he may remain with you — to the age; (aiōn )
and I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Comforter so that he will be with you forever— (aiōn )
according as Thou didst give to him authority over all flesh, that — all that Thou hast given to him — he may give to them life age-during; (aiōnios )
just as you gave him authority over all flesh so that he would give eternal life to everyone whom you have given him. (aiōnios )
and this is the life age-during, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send — Jesus Christ; (aiōnios )
This is eternal life: That they know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
because Thou wilt not leave my soul to hades, nor wilt Thou give Thy Kind One to see corruption; (Hadēs )
For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. (Hadēs )
having foreseen, he did speak concerning the rising again of the Christ, that his soul was not left to hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
He saw what was to happen in the future and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, 'He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see decay.' (Hadēs )
whom it behoveth heaven, indeed, to receive till times of a restitution of all things, of which God spake through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age. (aiōn )
He is the One heaven must receive until the time of the restoration of all things, about which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn )
And speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, 'To you it was necessary that first the word of God be spoken, and seeing ye do thrust it away, and do not judge yourselves worthy of the life age-during, lo, we do turn to the nations; (aiōnios )
But Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing you push it away from yourselves and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, see, we will turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios )
And the nations hearing were glad, and were glorifying the word of the Lord, and did believe — as many as were appointed to life age-during; (aiōnios )
As the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and praised the word of the Lord. As many as were appointed to eternal life believed. (aiōnios )
'Known from the ages to God are all His works; (aiōn )
This is what the Lord says, who has done these things that have been known from ancient times. (aiōn )
for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world, by the things made being understood, are plainly seen, both His eternal power and Godhead — to their being inexcusable; (aïdios )
For his invisible qualities, namely his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. (aïdios )
who did change the truth of God into a falsehood, and did honour and serve the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed to the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
It is they who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and who worshiped and served the creation instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen. (aiōn )
to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, do seek glory, and honour, and incorruptibility — life age-during; (aiōnios )
to those who according to consistent, good actions have sought praise, honor, and incorruptibility, he will give eternal life. (aiōnios )
that even as the sin did reign in the death, so also the grace may reign, through righteousness, to life age-during, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
This happened so that, as sin ruled in death, even so grace might rule through righteousness for everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
And now, having been freed from the sin, and having become servants to God, ye have your fruit — to sanctification, and the end life age-during; (aiōnios )
But now that you have been made free from sin and are enslaved to God, you have your fruit for sanctification. The result is eternal life. (aiōnios )
for the wages of the sin [is] death, and the gift of God [is] life age-during in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
whose [are] the fathers, and of whom [is] the Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed to the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Theirs are the ancestors from whom Christ has come with respect to the flesh—he who is God over all. May he be praised forever. Amen. (aiōn )
or, 'Who shall go down to the abyss,' that is, Christ out of the dead to bring up. (Abyssos )
and do not say, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). (Abyssos )
for God did shut up together the whole to unbelief, that to the whole He might do kindness. (eleēsē )
For God has shut up all into disobedience, in order that he might show mercy on all. (eleēsē )
because of Him, and through Him, and to Him [are] the all things; to Him [is] the glory — to the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen. (aiōn )
and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God — the good, and acceptable, and perfect. (aiōn )
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Do this to know what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. (aiōn )
And to Him who is able to establish you, according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, in the times of the ages having been kept silent, (aiōnios )
Now to him who is able to make you stand according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that had been kept secret for long ages, (aiōnios )
and now having been made manifest, also, through prophetic writings, according to a command of the age-during God, having been made known to all the nations for obedience of faith — (aiōnios )
but now has been revealed and made known through the prophetic writings to all nations, by the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith. (aiōnios )
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to him [be] glory to the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
To the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be glory forever. Amen. (aiōn )
where [is] the wise? where the scribe? where a disputer of this age? did not God make foolish the wisdom of this world? (aiōn )
Where is the wise person? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this world? Has not God turned the wisdom of the world into foolishness? (aiōn )
And wisdom we speak among the perfect, and wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age — of those becoming useless, (aiōn )
Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this world, or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away. (aiōn )
but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory, (aiōn )
Instead, we speak God's wisdom in hidden truth, the hidden wisdom that God predestined before the ages for our glory. (aiōn )
which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified; (aiōn )
None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself; if any one doth seem to be wise among you in this age — let him become a fool, that he may become wise, (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a “fool” that he may become wise. (aiōn )
wherefore, if victuals cause my brother to stumble, I may eat no flesh — to the age — that my brother I may not cause to stumble. (aiōn )
Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I may not cause my brother to fall. (aiōn )
And all these things as types did happen to those persons, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages did come, (aiōn )
Now these things happened to them as examples for us. They were written for our instruction—for us on whom the end of the ages has come. (aiōn )
where, O Death, thy sting? where, O Hades, thy victory?' (Hadēs )
“Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” (Hadēs )
in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there doth not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God; (aiōn )
In their case, the god of this world has blinded their unbelieving minds. As a result, they are not able to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (aiōn )
for the momentary light matter of our tribulation, more and more exceedingly an age-during weight of glory doth work out for us — (aiōnios )
For this momentary, light affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory that exceeds all measurement. (aiōnios )
we not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen [are] temporary, but the things not seen [are] age-during. (aiōnios )
For we are not watching for things that are seen, but for things that are unseen. The things that we can see are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (aiōnios )
For we have known that if our earthly house of the tabernacle may be thrown down, a building from God we have, an house not made with hands — age-during — in the heavens, (aiōnios )
We know that if the earthly dwelling that we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God. It is a house not made by human hands, but an eternal house, in heaven. (aiōnios )
(according as it hath been written, 'He dispersed abroad, he gave to the poor, his righteousness doth remain to the age,') (aiōn )
It is as it is written: “He has distributed his riches and given them to the poor. His righteousness lasts forever.” (aiōn )
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ — who is blessed to the ages — hath known that I do not lie! — (aiōn )
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, the one who is praised forever, knows that I am not lying! (aiōn )
who did give himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of God even our Father, (aiōn )
who gave himself for our sins so that he might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, (aiōn )
to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
to him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
because he who is sowing to his own flesh, of the flesh shall reap corruption; and he who is sowing to the Spirit, of the Spirit shall reap life age-during; (aiōnios )
For he who plants seed to his own sinful nature, from the sinful nature will gather in destruction. The one who plants seed to the Spirit, from the Spirit will gather in eternal life from the Spirit. (aiōnios )
far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one; (aiōn )
He seated Christ far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named. Christ will rule, not only in this age, but also in the age to come. (aiōn )
in which once ye did walk according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn )
It was in these trespasses and sins that you once lived according to the ways of this world. You were living according to the ruler of the authorities of the air, the spirit that is working in the sons of disobedience. (aiōn )
that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, (aiōn )
so that in the ages to come he might show to us the immeasurably great riches of his grace expressed in his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
and to cause all to see what [is] the fellowship of the secret that hath been hid from the ages in God, who the all things did create by Jesus Christ, (aiōn )
so that I will bring to light for everyone the plan—the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things. (aiōn )
according to a purpose of the ages, which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord, (aiōn )
This happened according to the eternal plan that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn )
to Him [is] the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places; (aiōn )
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (aiōn )
and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory — to the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
the secret that hath been hid from the ages and from the generations, but now was manifested to his saints, (aiōn )
This is the secret truth that was hidden for ages and for generations. But now it has been revealed to those who believe in him. (aiōn )
who shall suffer justice — destruction age-during — from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his strength, (aiōnios )
They will be punished with eternal destruction away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power. (aiōnios )
and may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who did love us, and did give comfort age-during, and good hope in grace, (aiōnios )
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, (aiōnios )
but because of this I found kindness, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long-suffering, for a pattern of those about to believe on him to life age-during: (aiōnios )
But for this reason I was given mercy, so that in me, the foremost, Christ Jesus might demonstrate all patience. He did this as an example for those who would trust in him for eternal life. (aiōnios )
and to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only wise God, [is] honour and glory — to the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
Now to the king of the ages, the immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
be striving the good strife of the faith, be laying hold on the life age-during, to which also thou wast called, and didst profess the right profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the everlasting life to which you were called, and about which you gave the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
who only is having immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, whom no one of men did see, nor is able to see, to whom [is] honour and might age-during! Amen. (aiōnios )
Only he has immortality and dwells in inapproachable light. No man sees him or is able to view him. To him be honor and eternal power. Amen. (aiōnios )
Those rich in the present age charge thou not to be high-minded, nor to hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who is giving to us all things richly for enjoyment; — (aiōn )
Tell the rich in this world not to be proud, and not to hope in riches, which are uncertain. Instead, they should hope in God. He offers to us all the true riches to enjoy. (aiōn )
who did save us, and did call with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages, (aiōnios )
It is God who saved us and called us with a holy calling. He did this, not according to our works, but according to his own plan and grace. He gave us these things in Christ Jesus before times ever began. (aiōnios )
because of this all things do I endure, because of the choice ones, that they also salvation may obtain that [is] in Christ Jesus, with glory age-during. (aiōnios )
Therefore I endure all things for those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (aiōnios )
for Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went on to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia, (aiōn )
For Demas has left me. He loves this present world and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens went to Galatia, and Titus went to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
and the Lord shall free me from every evil work, and shall save [me] — to his heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and will save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
upon hope of life age-during, which God, who doth not lie, did promise before times of ages, (aiōnios )
with the certain hope of everlasting life that God, who does not lie, promised before all the ages of time. (aiōnios )
teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, soberly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age, (aiōn )
It trains us to reject godlessness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this age, (aiōn )
that having been declared righteous by His grace, heirs we may become according to the hope of life age-during. (aiōnios )
so that having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs with the certain hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )
for perhaps because of this he did depart for an hour, that age-duringly thou mayest have him, (aiōnios )
Perhaps for this he was separated from you for a time, so that you might have him back forever. (aiōnios )
in these last days did speak to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He did make the ages; (aiōn )
But in these last days, he has spoken to us through a Son, whom he appointed to be the heir of all things. It is through him that God also made the universe. (aiōn )
and unto the Son: 'Thy throne, O God, [is] to the age of the age; a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy reign; (aiōn )
But to the Son he says, “Your throne, God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is the scepter of justice. (aiōn )
as also in another [place] He saith, 'Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;' (aiōn )
It is just as he also says in another place, “You are a priest forever after the manner of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
and having been made perfect, he did become to all those obeying him a cause of salvation age-during, (aiōnios )
He was made perfect and became, for everyone who obeys him, the cause of eternal salvation. (aiōnios )
of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on also of hands, of rising again also of the dead, and of judgment age-during, (aiōnios )
nor the foundation of teaching about baptisms, laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
and did taste the good saying of God, the powers also of the coming age, (aiōn )
and who tasted God's good word and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn )
whither a forerunner for us did enter — Jesus, after the order of Melchisedek chief priest having become — to the age. (aiōn )
where Jesus, who went before us, has entered into that place on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
for He doth testify — 'Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;' (aiōn )
For scripture witnesses about him: “You are a priest forever after the manner of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
and he with an oath through Him who is saying unto him, 'The Lord sware, and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest — to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;') (aiōn )
but he became a priest when God said to him, “The Lord has sworn and he will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.'” (aiōn )
and he, because of his remaining — to the age, hath the priesthood not transient, (aiōn )
But because Jesus continues to live forever, he has a permanent priesthood. (aiōn )
for the law doth appoint men chief priests, having infirmity, but the word of the oath that [is] after the law [appointeth] the Son — to the age having been perfected. (aiōn )
For the law appoints as high priests men who have weaknesses. But the word of the oath, which came after the law, appointed a Son, who has been made perfect forever. (aiōn )
neither through blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, did enter in once into the holy places, age-during redemption having obtained; (aiōnios )
It was not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood that he entered into the most holy place once for all and secured our eternal redemption. (aiōnios )
how much more shall the blood of the Christ (who through the age-during Spirit did offer himself unblemished to God) purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios )
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios )
And because of this, of a new covenant he is mediator, that, death having come, for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those called may receive the promise of the age-during inheritance, (aiōnios )
For this reason, he is the mediator of a new covenant. This is so that, since a death has taken place to free those under the first covenant from their sins, those who are called will receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. (aiōnios )
since it had behoved him many times to suffer from the foundation of the world, but now once, at the full end of the ages, for putting away of sin through his sacrifice, he hath been manifested; (aiōn )
If that had been the case, then he would have had to suffer many times since the beginning of the world. But now he has appeared at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn )
by faith we understand the ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen not having come out of things appearing; (aiōn )
By faith we understand that the universe was created by God's command, so that what is visible was not made out of things that were visible. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ yesterday and to-day the same, and to the ages; (aiōn )
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (aiōn )
