Nehemiah 11

1 And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused to fall lots to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,

Y habitaron los príncipes del pueblo en Jerusalén; mas el resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer uno de diez que morase en Jerusalén, ciudad santa, y las nueve partes en las otras ciudades.

2 and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.

Y bendijo el pueblo a todos los varones que voluntariamente se ofrecieron a morar en Jerusalén.

3 And these [are] heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.

Y éstos son los cabezas de la provincia que moraron en Jerusalén; mas en las ciudades de Judá habitaron cada uno en su posesión en sus ciudades, de Israel, de los sacerdotes, levitas, netineos, y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.

4 And in Jerusalem have dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;

En Jerusalén, pues, habitaron de los hijos de Judá, y de los hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Ataías, hijo de Uzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Fares;

5 and Masseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of Shiloni;

y Maasías hijo de Baruc, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.

6 all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem [are] four hundred sixty and eight, men of valour.

Todos los hijos de Fares que moraron en Jerusalén, fueron cuatrocientos setenta y ocho varones fuertes.

7 And these [are] sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;

Y éstos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maasías, hijo de Itiel, hijo de Jesaías.

8 and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.

Y tras él, Gabai y Salai, novecientos veintiocho.

9 And Joel son of Zichri [is] inspector over them, and Judah son of Senuah [is] over the city — second.

Y Joel hijo de Zicri, era el prefecto de ellos, y Judá hijo de Senúa, el segundo de la ciudad.

10 Of the priests: Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin,

De los sacerdotes: Jedaías hijo de Joiarib, Jaquín,

11 Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God,

Seraías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitob, príncipe de la Casa de Dios,

12 and their brethren doing the work of the house [are] eight hundred twenty and two; and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchiah,

y sus hermanos los que hacían la obra de la Casa, ochocientos veintidós; y Adaías hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pelalías, hijo de Amsi, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Pasur, hijo de Malquías,

13 and his brethren, heads of fathers, two hundred forty and two; and Amashsai son of Azareel, son of Ahazai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer,

y sus hermanos, príncipes de familias, doscientos cuarenta y dos; y Amasai hijo de Azareel, hijo de Azai, hijo de Mesilemot, hijo de Imer,

14 and their brethren, mighty of valour, a hundred twenty and eight; and an inspector over them [is] Zabdiel, son of [one of] the great men.

y sus hermanos, valientes de fuerza, ciento veintiocho, capitán de los cuales era Zabdiel, hijo de Gedolim.

15 And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,

Y de los levitas: Semaías hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Buni;

16 and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, [are] over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,

y Sabetai y Jozabad, de los principales de los levitas, capataces de la obra exterior de la Casa de Dios;

17 and Mattaniah son of Micha, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, [is] head — at the commencement he giveth thanks in prayer; and Bakbukiah [is] second among his brethren, and Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.

y Matanías hijo de Micaía, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Asaf, el principal, el que empezaba las alabanzas y acción de gracias al tiempo de la oración; y Bacbuquías el segundo de entre sus hermanos; y Abda hijo de Samúa, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún.

18 All the Levites, in the holy city, [are] two hundred eighty and four.

Todos los levitas en la santa ciudad fueron doscientos ochenta y cuatro.

19 And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, those watching at the gates, [are] a hundred seventy and two.

Y los porteros, Acub, Talmón, y sus hermanos, guardas en las puertas, ciento setenta y dos.

20 And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, [are] in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;

Y el resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes, de los levitas, en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

21 and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.

Y los netineos habitaban en Ofel ( la fortaleza ); y Ziha y Gispa eran sobre los netineos.

22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem [is] Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha: of the sons of Asaph, the singers [are] over-against the work of the house of God,

Y el prepósito de los levitas en Jerusalén era Uzi hijo de Bani, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaía de los cantores los hijos de Asaf, sobre la obra de la Casa de Dios.

23 for the command of the king [is] upon them, and support [is] for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.

Porque había mandamiento del rey acerca de ellos, y determinación acerca de los cantores para cada día.

24 And Pethahiah son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, [is] by the hand of the king, for every matter of the people.

Y Petaías hijo de Mesezabeel, de los hijos de Zera hijo de Judá, estaba a la mano del rey en todo negocio del pueblo.

25 And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,

Y tocante a las aldeas y sus tierras, algunos de los hijos de Judá habitaron en Quiriat-arba y sus aldeas, y en Dibón y sus aldeas, y en Jecabseel y sus aldeas;

26 and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,

y en Jesúa, Molada, y en Bet-pelet;

27 and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,

y en Hazar-sual, y en Beerseba, y en sus aldeas;

28 and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,

y en Siclag, y en Mecona, y en sus aldeas;

29 and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,

y en En-rimón, y en Zora y en Jarmut;

30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

en Zanoa, en Adulam, y en sus aldeas; en Laquis y sus tierras, y en Azeca y sus aldeas. Y habitaron desde Beerseba hasta el valle de Hinom.

31 And sons of Benjamin [are] at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,

Y los hijos de Benjamín desde Geba en Micmas y Aía, y en Bet-el y sus aldeas;

32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

en Anatot, Nob, Ananías;

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

Hazor, Ramá, Gitaim;

34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

Hadid, Seboim, Nebalat;

35 Lod, and Ono, the valley of the artificers.

Lod, y Ono, valle de los artífices.

36 And of the Levites, the courses of Judah [are] for Benjamin.

Y algunos de los levitas, en los repartimientos de Judá y de Benjamín.
