Nehemiah 10
1 And over those sealed [are] Nehemiah the Tirshatha, son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah,
૧જેઓએ મહોર મારી તેઓ આ હતા: હખાલ્યાનો દીકરો નહેમ્યા તે આગેવાન હતો. અને સિદકિયા,
2 Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,
૨સરાયા, અઝાર્યા, યર્મિયા,
3 Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah,
૩પાશહૂર, અમાર્યા, માલ્કિયા.
4 Huttush, Shebaniah, Malluch,
૪હાટ્ટુશ, શબાન્યા, માલ્લૂખ,
5 Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,
૫હારીમ મરેમોથ, ઓબાદ્યા,
6 Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,
૬દાનિયેલ, ગિન્નથોન, બારુખ,
7 Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,
૭મશુલ્લામ, અબિયા, મીયામીન,
8 Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah; these [are] the priests.
૮માઝયા, બિલ્ગાય, શમાયા આ બધા યાજકો હતા.
9 And the Levites: both Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;
૯લેવીઓ આ હતા: અઝાન્યાહનો દીકરો યેશૂઆ, હેનાદાદના કુટુંબોમાંના બિન્નૂઈ તથા કાદમીએલ,
10 and their brethren: Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,
૧૦અને તેઓના સાથી લેવીઓ, શબાન્યા, હોદિયા, કેલીટા, પલાયા, હાનાન,
11 Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah,
૧૧મીખા, રહોબ, હશાબ્યા,
12 Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,
૧૨ઝાક્કૂર, શેરેબ્યા, શબાન્યા,
13 Hodijah, Bani, Beninu.
૧૩હોદિયા, બાની અને બનીનુ.
14 Heads of the people: Parosh, Pahath-Moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani,
૧૪લોકોના આગેવાનો: પારોશ, પાહાથ-મોઆબ, એલામ, ઝાત્તૂ, બાની.
15 Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,
૧૫બુન્ની, આઝગાદ, બેબાય,
16 Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,

૨૩હોશિયા, હનાન્યા, હાશ્શૂબ,
24 Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek,
૨૪હાલ્લોહેશ, પિલ્હા, શોબેક,
25 Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,
૨૫રહૂમ, હશાબનાહ, માસેયા,
26 and Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,
૨૬અહિયા, હાનાન, આનાન,
27 Malluch, Harim, Baanah.
૨૭માલ્લૂખ, હારીમ તથા બાનાહ.
28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and every one who hath been separated from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every knowing intelligent one,
૨૮બાકીના લોકો, યાજકો, લેવીઓ, દ્વારપાળો, ગાનારાઓ, ભક્તિસ્થાનના સેવકો અને તે દરેક જેઓ ઈશ્વરના નિયમશાસ્ત્ર પ્રમાણે પડોશી દેશોથી અલગ થયા હતા તે સર્વ તેમ જ તેઓની પત્નીઓ, તેઓના પુત્રો અને પુત્રીઓ તેઓ સર્વ પાસે જ્ઞાન અને સમજણ હતાં.
29 are laying hold on their brethren, their honourable ones, and coming in to an execration, and in to an oath, to walk in the law of God, that was given by the hand of Moses, servant of God, and to observe and to do all the commands of Jehovah our Lord, and His judgments, and His statutes;
૨૯તેઓ પોતાના ભાઈઓને અને ઉમરાવોને વળગી રહ્યા, તેઓએ શાપનો સ્વીકાર કર્યો અને સાથે મળીને ઈશ્વરના નિયમ પ્રમાણે ચાલવાની પ્રતિજ્ઞા લીધી કે, ઈશ્વરના સેવક મૂસા મારફતે અપાયેલા ઈશ્વરના નિયમશાસ્ત્ર પ્રમાણે અમે યહોવાહ અમારા ઈશ્વરની આજ્ઞા, નિયમો અને વિધિઓનું પાલન કરીશું.
30 and that we give not our daughters to the peoples of the land, and their daughters we take not to our sons;
૩૦અમે વચન આપીએ છીએ કે, અમારી પુત્રીઓના લગ્ન દેશના અન્ય લોકો સાથે કરીશું નહિ અને અમારા પુત્રોનાં લગ્ન તેઓની પુત્રીઓ સાથે કરાવીશું નહિ.
31 and the peoples of the land who are bringing in the wares and any corn on the sabbath-day to sell, we receive not of them on the sabbath, and on a holy day, and we leave the seventh year, and usury on every hand.
૩૧અમે એ વચન પણ આપીએ છીએ કે, બીજા દેશના લોકો વિશ્રામવારે કંઈ માલ કે અનાજ વેચવા આવે તો તે દિવસે અથવા બીજા કોઈ પવિત્ર દિવસે અમે તેઓની પાસેથી ખરીદીશું નહિ. અને પ્રત્યેક સાતમે વર્ષે અમે અમારા બીજા યહૂદી ભાઈઓનું બધું લેણું માફ કરીશું.
32 And we have appointed for ourselves commands, to put on ourselves the third of a shekel in a year, for the service of the house of our God,
૩૨અમે પોતાના ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનની સેવાને માટે દર વર્ષે એક તૃતીયાંશ શેકેલ આપવાનો નિયમ સ્વીકારીએ છીએ.
33 for bread of the arrangement, and the continual present, and the continual burnt-offering of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for appointed seasons, and for holy things, and for sin-offerings, to make atonement for Israel, even all the work of the house of our God.
૩૩વળી અર્પણ કરવાની પવિત્ર રોટલીને માટે, નિત્યના ખાદ્યાર્પણને માટે, વિશ્રામવારનાં દહનીયાર્પણો માટે, ચંદ્રદર્શનના પર્વ માટે, ઠરાવેલાં પર્વો માટે, પવિત્ર કાર્યોને માટે તથા ઇઝરાયલના માટે પ્રાયશ્ચિત કરવાને માટે પાપાર્થાર્પણોને માટે અને ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનના સર્વ કાર્યોને માટે આપવાનો નિયમ તેઓએ ઠરાવ્યો.
34 And the lots we have caused to fall for the offering of wood, [among] the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring in to the house of our God, by the house of our fathers, at times appointed, year by year, to burn on the altar of Jehovah our God, as it is written in the law,
૩૪નિયમશાસ્ત્રમાં લખ્યા પ્રમાણે, અમારા ઈશ્વર યહોવાહની વેદી પર બાળવા માટે, અમારા પિતૃઓનાં કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે પ્રતિવર્ષ ઠરાવેલા ચોક્કસ સમયે અમારા ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં લાકડાંઓના અર્પણો લાવવા માટે, અમે એટલે યાજકોએ, લેવીઓએ તથા લોકોએ વચનો આપ્યાં.
35 and to bring in the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of every tree, year by year, to the house of Jehovah,
૩૫અમે પ્રતિવર્ષ, અમારા ખેતરની પ્રથમ પેદાશ અને દરેક વૃક્ષના પ્રથમ ફળો યહોવાહનાં ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં લાવવા માટે પણ વચન આપ્યાં.
36 and the firstlings of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and our flocks, to bring in to the house of our God, to the priests who are ministering in the house of our God.
૩૬નિયમશાસ્ત્રમાં લખ્યા પ્રમાણે, અમારા પુત્રોમાંના પ્રથમજનિત, જાનવરો તથા ઘેટાંબકરાંનાં પ્રથમજનિતને અમારા યહોવાહનાં ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં યાજકો પાસે લાવવાનાં વચનો આપ્યાં.
37 And the beginning of our dough, and our heave-offerings, and the fruit of every tree, of new wine, and of oil, we bring in to the priests, unto the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground to the Levites; and they — the Levites — have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage;
૩૭અમારા બાંધેલા લોટનો પ્રથમ હિસ્સો તથા અર્પણો, દરેક વૃક્ષનાં ફળો, દ્રાક્ષારસ અને તેલ યાજકો માટે ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનનાં ભંડારમાં લાવીશું. વળી અમારી જમીનની ઊપજનો દસમો ભાગ અમે લેવીઓ પાસે લાવીશું. કારણ કે લેવીઓ અમારી ખેતીના સર્વ નગરોમાંથી દશાંશો લે છે.
38 and the priest, son of Aaron, hath been with the Levites in the tithing of the Levites, and the Levites bring up the tithe of the tithe to the house of our God unto the chambers, to the treasure-house;
૩૮લેવીઓ દશાંશ લે, તે સમયે હારુનના પુત્ર યાજકે તે લેવીઓ સાથે રહેવું. લેવીઓએ તે દશાંશોનો દશાંશ અમારા ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનના ભંડારમાં લાવવો.
39 for unto the chambers do they bring in — the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi — the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, and there [are] vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests, those ministering, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and we do not forsake the house of our God.
૩૯ઇઝરાયલીઓ અને લેવીઓએ પોતે ઉઘરાવેલાં બધાં અનાજના અર્પણો, દ્રાક્ષારસ, તેલનું ઉચ્છાલીયાર્પણ ભંડારના ઓરડાઓમાં લાવવાં, કેમ કે પવિત્રસ્થાનનાં પાત્રો ત્યાં રાખવામાં આવે છે. ત્યાં સેવા કરતા યાજકો, દ્વારપાળો તથા ગાયકો રહે છે. આમ, અમે સૌ અમારા ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનની અવગણના નહિ કરીએ.
