Micah 7
1 My woe [is] to me, for I have been As gatherings of summer-fruit, As gleanings of harvest, There is no cluster to eat, The first-ripe fruit desired hath my soul.
Misery é meu! Na verdade, sou como quem recolhe as frutas de verão, como respigadores da vinha. Não há cacho de uvas para comer. Minha alma deseja comer o figo primitivo.
2 Perished hath the kind out of the land, And upright among men — there are none, All of them for blood lie in wait, Each his brother they hunt [with] a net.
O homem piedoso pereceu fora da terra, e não há ninguém de pé entre os homens. Todos eles ficam à espera de sangue; cada homem caça seu irmão com uma rede.
3 On the evil [are] both hands to do [it] well, The prince is asking — also the judge — for recompence, And the great — he is speaking the mischief of his soul, And they wrap it up.
Suas mãos estão sobre o que é mau para fazê-lo de forma diligente. O governante e o juiz pedem um suborno. O homem poderoso dita o desejo maligno de sua alma. Assim, eles conspiram juntos.
4 Their best one [is] as a brier, The upright one — than a thorn-hedge, The day of thy watchmen — Thy visitation — hath come. Now is their perplexity.
O melhor deles é como um brier. A mais erguida é pior que uma sebe de espinhos. O dia de seus vigilantes, mesmo a sua visita, chegou; agora é o momento de sua confusão.
5 Believe not in a friend, trust not in a leader, From her who is lying in thy bosom keep the openings of thy mouth.
Não confie em um vizinho. Não deposite confiança em um amigo. Com a mulher deitada em seu abraço, tenha cuidado com as palavras de sua boca!
6 For a son is dishonouring a father, A daughter hath stood against her mother, A daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, The enemies of each [are] the men of his house.
Para o filho desonra o pai, a filha se levanta contra sua mãe, a nora contra sua sogra; Os inimigos de um homem são os homens de sua própria casa.
7 And I — in Jehovah I do watch, I do wait for the God of my salvation, Hear me doth my God.
Mas, quanto a mim, vou olhar para Yahweh. Vou esperar pelo Deus da minha salvação. Meu Deus vai me ouvir.
8 Thou dost not rejoice over me, O mine enemy, When I have fallen, I have risen, When I sit in darkness Jehovah is a light to me.
Não se regozije contra mim, meu inimigo. Quando eu cair, eu irei me levantar. Quando eu sentar na escuridão, Yahweh será uma luz para mim.
9 The indignation of Jehovah I do bear, For I have sinned against Him, Till that He doth plead my cause, And hath executed my judgment, He doth bring me forth to the light, I look on His righteousness.
Eu suportarei a indignação de Yahweh, porque eu pequei contra ele, até que ele me peça e execute o julgamento por mim. Ele me trará para a luz. Eu verei sua retidão.
10 And see doth mine enemy, And cover her doth shame, Who saith unto me, 'Where [is] Jehovah thy God?' Mine eyes do look on her, Now she is for a treading-place, As mire of the out-places.
Então meu inimigo o verá, e vergonha a cobrirá quem me disse, “Onde está Yahweh seu Deus?” Meus olhos a verão. Agora ela será pisoteada como a lama das ruas.
11 The day to build thy walls! That day — removed is the limit.
Um dia para construir suas paredes! Naquele dia, ele estenderá seus limites.
12 That day — even unto thee it doth come in, From Asshur and the cities of the fortress, And from the fortress even unto the river, And from sea to sea, and mount to mount.
Naquele dia eles virão até você da Assíria e das cidades do Egito, e do Egito até o rio, e de mar a mar, e de montanha a montanha.
13 And the land hath been for a desolation, Because of its inhabitants, Because of the fruit of their doings.
No entanto, a terra ficará desolada por causa daqueles que nela habitam, pelo fruto de seus atos.
14 Rule Thou Thy people with Thy rod, The flock of Thine inheritance, Dwelling alone [in] a forest in the midst of Carmel, They enjoy Bashan and Gilead as in days of old.
Pastoreie seu pessoal com seu pessoal, o rebanho de sua herança, que habitam sozinhos em uma floresta. Deixe-os se alimentar no meio de terras férteis de pastagem, em Bashan e Gilead, como nos velhos tempos.
15 According to the days of thy coming forth out of the land of Egypt, I do shew it wonderful things.
“Como nos dias de sua saída da terra do Egito, Vou mostrar-lhes coisas maravilhosas”.
16 See do nations, and they are ashamed of all their might, They lay a hand on the mouth, their ears are deaf.
As nações verão e se envergonharão de todas as suas forças. Eles colocarão sua mão na boca. Seus ouvidos ficarão surdos.
17 They lick dust as a serpent, as fearful things of earth, They tremble from their enclosures, Of Jehovah our God they are afraid, Yea, they are afraid of Thee.
Eles vão lamber o pó como uma serpente. Como coisas rastejantes da terra, elas sairão tremendo de suas covas. Eles virão com medo para Yahweh nosso Deus, e terá medo por sua causa.
18 Who [is] a God like Thee? taking away iniquity, And passing by the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance, He hath not retained for ever His anger, Because He — He delighteth [in] kindness.
Quem é um Deus como você, que perdoa a iniqüidade, e passa por cima da desobediência do remanescente de sua herança? Ele não retém sua raiva para sempre, porque ele se deleita em amar a bondade.
19 He doth turn back, He pitieth us, He doth subdue our iniquities, And Thou castest into the depths of the sea all their sins.
Ele terá novamente compaixão de nós. Ele pisará nossas iniquidades sob os pés. Você lançará todos os seus pecados nas profundezas do mar.
20 Thou givest truth to Jacob, kindness to Abraham, That thou hast sworn to our fathers, from the days of antiquity!
Você vai dar a verdade a Jacob, e misericórdia para com Abraão, como você jurou a nossos pais desde os tempos antigos.
