< Micah 2 >
1 Woe [to] those devising iniquity, And working evil on their beds, In the light of the morning they do it, For their hand is — to God.
Ègbé ni fún àwọn tí ń gbèrò àìṣedéédéé tí wọ́n sì ń ṣiṣẹ́ ibi lórí ibùsùn wọn! Nígbà tí ojúmọ́ bá mọ́, wọn yóò gbé e jáde nítorí ó wà ní agbára wọn láti ṣe é.
2 And they have desired fields, And they have taken violently, And houses, and they have taken away, And have oppressed a man and his house, Even a man and his inheritance.
Wọ́n sì ń ṣe ojúkòkòrò oko, wọ́n sì fi agbára wọn gbà wọ́n, àti àwọn ilé, wọ́n sì gbà wọ́n. Wọ́n sì ni ènìyàn àti ilẹ̀ rẹ̀ lára àní ènìyàn àti ohun ìní rẹ̀.
3 Therefore, thus said Jehovah: Lo, I am devising against this family evil, From which ye do not remove your necks, Nor walk loftily, for a time of evil it [is].
Nítorí náà, Olúwa wí pé: “Èmi ń gbèrò ibi sí àwọn ìdílé wọ̀nyí, nínú èyí tí wọn kì yóò le è gba ara wọn là. Ìwọ kì yóò sì lè máa rìn ní ìgbéraga mọ́, nítorí yóò jẹ́ àkókò ibi.
4 In that day doth [one] take up for you a simile, And he hath wailed a wailing of woe, He hath said, We have been utterly spoiled, The portion of my people He doth change, How doth He move toward me! To the backslider our fields He apportioneth.
Ní ọjọ́ náà ni ẹnìkan yóò pa òwe kan sí yín; wọn yóò sì pohùnréré ẹkún kíkorò pé: ‘Ní kíkó a ti kó wọn tán; Olúwa ti pín ohun ìní àwọn ènìyàn mi; Ó ti mú un kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi! Ó fi oko wa lé àwọn ọlọ̀tẹ̀ lọ́wọ́.’”
5 Therefore, thou hast no caster of a line by lot In the assembly of Jehovah.
Nítorí náà, ìwọ kò ní ní ẹnìkankan tí yóò ta okùn nínú ìjọ Olúwa, tí yóò pín ilẹ̀ nípa ìbò.
6 Ye do not prophesy — they do prophesy, They do not prophesy to these, It doth not remove shame.
“Ẹ má ṣe sọtẹ́lẹ̀,” ni àwọn wòlíì wọn wí. “Ẹ má ṣe sọtẹ́lẹ̀ nípa nǹkan wọ̀nyí; kí ìtìjú má ṣe le bá wa.”
7 Doth the house of Jacob say, 'Hath the Spirit of Jehovah been shortened? Are these His doings?' Do not My words benefit the people that is walking uprightly?
Ṣé kí á sọ ọ́, ìwọ ilé Jakọbu: “Ǹjẹ́ ẹ̀mí Olúwa ha ń bínú bí? Ǹjẹ́ iṣẹ́ rẹ ha nìwọ̀nyí?” “Ǹjẹ́ ọ̀rọ̀ mi kò ha ń ṣe rere fún ẹni tí ń rìn déédé bí?
8 And yesterday My people for an enemy doth raise himself up, From the outer garment the honourable ornament ye strip off, From the confident passers by, Ye who are turning back from war.
Láìpẹ́ àwọn ènìyàn mi dìde bí ọ̀tá sí mi. Ìwọ bọ́ aṣọ ọlọ́rọ̀ kúrò lára àwọn tí ń kọjá lọ ní àìléwu, bí àwọn ẹni tí ó padà bọ̀ láti ojú ogun.
9 The women of My people ye cast out from its delightful house, From its sucklings ye take away My honour to the age.
Ẹ̀yin sì lé obìnrin àwọn ènìyàn mi kúrò nínú ilé ayọ̀ wọn, ẹ̀yin sì ti gba ògo mi, kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọmọ wọn láéláé.
10 Rise and go, for this [is] not the rest, Because of uncleanness it doth corrupt, And corruption is powerful.
Ẹ dìde, kí ẹ sì máa lọ! Nítorí èyí kì í ṣe ibi ìsinmi yín, nítorí tí a ti sọ ọ́ di àìmọ́ yóò pa yín run, àní ìparun kíkorò.
11 If one is going [with] the wind, And [with] falsehood hath lied: 'I prophesy to thee of wine, and of strong drink,' He hath been the prophet of this people!
Tí òpùrọ́ àti ẹlẹ́tàn bá wà tí wọ́n sì wí pé, ‘Èmi yóò sọtẹ́lẹ̀ fún ọ nípa ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ wáìnì àti ọtí líle,’ òun ni yóò tilẹ̀ ṣe wòlíì àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí!
12 I do surely gather thee, O Jacob, all of thee, I surely bring together the remnant of Israel, Together I do set it as the flock of Bozrah, As a drove in the midst of its pasture, It maketh a noise because of man.
“Èmi yóò kó gbogbo yín jọ, ìwọ Jakọbu; Èmi yóò gbá ìyókù Israẹli jọ. Èmi yóò kó wọn jọ pọ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí àgùntàn nínú agbo ẹran, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀wọ́ ẹran nínú agbo wọn, ibẹ̀ yóò sì pariwo nítorí ọ̀pọ̀ ènìyàn.
13 Gone up hath the breaker before them, They have broken through, Yea, they pass through the gate, Yea, they go out through it, And pass on doth their king before them, And Jehovah at their head!
Ẹni tí ó ń fọ ọ̀nà yóò lọ sókè níwájú wọn; wọn yóò fọ láti ẹnu ibodè, wọn yóò sì jáde lọ. Àwọn ọba wọn yóò sì kọjá lọ níwájú wọn, Olúwa ni yóò sì ṣe olórí wọn.”
