Matthew 3
1 And in those days cometh John the Baptist, proclaiming in the wilderness of Judea,
୧ସେବେଲେ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଉ ଜଅନ୍ ଜିଉଦା ରାଇଜର୍ ମରୁବାଲି ବୁଏଁ ଆସି ଜାନାଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା ।
2 and saying, 'Reform, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens,'
୨ସେ ଏନ୍ତି ବଲି କଇତେରଇଲା, “ପାପ୍ଟାନେଅନି ବାଉଡା, କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସରଗ୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ଲଗେ କେଟ୍ଲାନି ।”
3 for this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'A voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight make ye His paths.'
୩ଜିସାଇୟ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା ଜନ୍ ଲକର୍ ବିସଇନେଇ ଏ ବାକିଅ କଇରଇଲା, ଜଅନ ସେ, ସେ ଲକ୍ । ମରୁବାଲି ବୁଏଁ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଆକ୍ମାରି କଇଲାନି, “ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ବାଟ୍ ତିଆର୍ କରା, ସେ ଆଇବାକେ ଗଟେକ୍ ସଲକ୍ ବାଟ୍ କରା ।”
4 And this John had his clothing of camel's hair, and a girdle of skin round his loins, and his nourishment was locusts and honey of the field.
୪ଜଅନ୍ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ବାଟା ଉଁଟ୍ ଚାମ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିଆର୍ ଅଇ ରଇଲା । ଆରି ଚାମର୍ ଆଁଟାବେଡା ବାନ୍ଦିଅଇତେ ରଇଲା । ସେ ଚିଟ୍କା ଆରି ବନେ ରଇବା ମୁଉ କାଇତେରଇଲା ।
5 Then were going forth unto him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about the Jordan,
୫ସେ ବେଲେ ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ଅନି ଗୁଲାଇ ଜିଉଦା ଦେସ୍ ଆରି ଜର୍ଦନର୍ ପାକର୍ ସବୁଟାନର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବାରଇ ଜଅନର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇତେରଇଲାଇ ।
6 and they were baptized in the Jordan by him, confessing their sins.
୬ଆରି ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ପାପ୍ କଲାଟା ମାନିଅଇକରି ଜଅନର୍ ଟାନେ ଜାଇ ଜର୍ଦନ୍ ଗାଡେ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ ।
7 And having seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming about his baptism, he said to them, 'Brood of vipers! who did shew you to flee from the coming wrath?
୭ମାତର୍ ପାରୁସି ଆରି ସାଦୁକି ମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଅନି ମିସା କେତେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାକେ ଆଇବାଟା ଦେକି ଜଅନ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ବେସି ବିସ୍ରଇବା ସାଁପର୍ ପାରା ବଁସର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆଇବା ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ତେଇ ଅନି ପାଲାଇବାକେ ତମ୍କେ କେ ଚେତ୍ନା ଦେଲା?
8 bear, therefore, fruits worthy of the reformation,
୮ତେବର୍ ପାଇ, ଜଦି ପାପ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାଟା ଚାଡିଆଚାସ୍, ସେନ୍ତାର୍ଆଲେ ନିକ କାମ୍ କରି ଦେକାଆ ।
9 and do not think to say in yourselves, A father we have — Abraham, for I say to you, that God is able out of these stones to raise children to Abraham,
୯ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ ଆମର୍ ପୁର୍ବର୍ ଆନିଦାଦି ବଲି କଇଲେ ତମ୍କେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଦେବା ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ନ ମିଲେ ବଲି ବାବା ନାଇ । ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ କଇଲିନି, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ପାକ୍ନାତେଇ ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ ବଁସ୍ ତିଆର୍ କର୍ସି ।
10 and now also, the axe unto the root of the trees is laid, every tree therefore not bearing good fruit is hewn down, and to fire is cast.
୧୦ଆରି ଏବେ ମିସା ଗଚ୍ମନର୍ ବୁନ୍ଦେ ଟେଙ୍ଗିଆ ଲାଗିଆଚେ । ଜନ୍ ଗଚ୍ ନିକ ପଲ୍ ନ ପଲେ, ସେଟା କାଟିକରି ଜଇଟାନେ ପିଙ୍ଗା ଅଇସି ।
11 'I indeed do baptize you with water to reformation, but he who after me is coming is mightier than I, of whom I am not worthy to bear the sandals, he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire,
୧୧ମୁଇ ସିନା ତମ୍କେ ପାପେଅନି ମନ୍ ବଦ୍ଲାଇଲାଟା ଦେକାଇଅଇବାକେ ବଲି ପାନିତେଇ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଲିନି, ମାତର୍ ମର୍ ପଚେ ଜେ ଆଇଲାନି, ସେ ମର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ବପୁଟା । ତାର୍ ପାଦର୍ ପାଣ୍ଡଇ ମିସା ଦାରି ନେବାର୍ ମର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ନାଇ, ସେ ତମ୍କେ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଆରି ଜଇଟାନେ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେଇସି ।
12 whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his floor, and will gather his wheat to the storehouse, but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.'
୧୨ଉଡାଲି କରି ପଟ୍ ବେଗ୍ଲାଇ ନିକଟାକେ ସଙ୍ଗଇବାକେ ତାର୍ ଆତେ କୁଲା ଆଚେ । ନିକଟା ତାର୍ କଲ୍କିତେଇ ସଙ୍ଗଇସି ଆରି ବେଗଲ୍ଲା ପଟ୍ ସବୁଦିନେ ଲାଗ୍ତେରଇବା ଜଇଟାନେ ପିଙ୍ଗିଦେଇସି ।”
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee upon the Jordan, unto John to be baptized by him,
୧୩ସେଡ୍କିବେଲେ ଜିସୁ ଜଅନର୍ ଲଗେ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାକେ ଗାଲିଲି ଅନି ଜର୍ଦନ୍ ଗାଡେ ଆଇଲା,
14 but John was forbidding him, saying, 'I have need by thee to be baptized — and thou dost come unto me!'
୧୪ମାତର୍ ଜଅନ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ମନାକରି କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ସିନା ତମର୍ ଲଗେ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାର୍ ଆଚେ, ମାତର୍ ତମେ ମର୍ଲଗେ ଆଇଲାସ୍ନି?”
15 But Jesus answering said to him, 'Suffer now, for thus it is becoming to us to fulfil all righteousness,' then he doth suffer him.
୧୫ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ମର୍ କାତାଇ ରାଜି ଅଇ ଜା । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଏଟାର୍ ଲାଗି ଆମେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମନ୍ କରିରଇବା କାମ୍ କରିଅଇସି ।” ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଜଅନ୍ ତାକେ ଡୁବନ୍ ଦେବାକେ ରାଜି ଅଇଲା ।
16 And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water, and lo, opened to him were the heavens, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him,
୧୬ଜିସୁ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେବାକେ ପାନି ବିତ୍ରେ ବୁଡି ବାରଇଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ସରଗ୍ ଉଗାଡି ଅଇ ରଇଲାଟା ଦେକ୍ଲା । ଆରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଆତ୍ମା ପରୁଆ ପାରା ଅଇ ଜିସୁର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଉତର୍ଲା ।
17 and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, 'This is My Son — the Beloved, in whom I did delight.'
୧୭ଆରି ଦେକା ଆକାସେ ଅନି ଏନ୍ତି କାତା ଆଇଲା “ଏ ମର୍ ଆଲାଦର୍ ପିଲା, ତର୍ଟାନେ ମୁଇ ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ।”
