< Matthew 15 >

1 Then come unto Jesus do they from Jerusalem — scribes and Pharisees — saying,
Busuba nabumbi Bafalisi ne beshikwiyisha Milawo ya Mose nabambi balesa kuli Yesu kufumina ku Yelusalemu, balamwipusheti,
2 'Wherefore do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they do not wash their hands when they may eat bread.'
Nipacebo cini beshikwiya benu nkabalasungunga mwambo wa bakulukulu? Nkabalasambanga kumakasa balyanga cakulya.
3 And he answering said to them, 'Wherefore also do ye transgress the command of God because of your tradition?
Nendi Yesu walabakumbuleti, “Inga ne njamwe mukute kusulila cani Milawo ya Lesa, ne kuyuminina nta ku mwambo wamashali benu bakulukulu?”
4 for God did command, saying, Honour thy father and mother; and, He who is speaking evil of father or mother — let him die the death;
Lesa walambeti, “Kopa bulemu baiso ne banyoko kayi kwambeti, uyo lanyanshanga baishi ne banyina welela kushinwa nditu.
5 but ye say, Whoever may say to father or mother, An offering [is] whatever thou mayest be profited by me; —
Nsombi amwe mukute kwambeti, ‘Muntu ambila baishi, nambi banyina, eti, mbyondayandanga kumunyamfwani, ndabibenge kuli Lesa,
6 and he may not honour his father or his mother, and ye did set aside the command of God because of your tradition.
nteko kwambeti uyo uliya kupa bulemu baishi,’ Cebo ca mwambo wenuwo Maswi a Lesa akute kuba abulyo.”
7 'Hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
Amwe bantu bandemi shibili, mushinshimi Yesaya walamba cakubinga mpwalambeti,
8 This people doth draw nigh to Me with their mouth, and with the lips it doth honour Me, but their heart is far off from Me;
“Bantu aba bakute kumpa bulemu bwa pamulomo nsombi moyo wabo ulikutali ne njame.
9 and in vain do they worship Me, teaching teachings — commands of men.'
Ee, bakute kunkambilila, nsombi kunkambilila kulico ni kwabulyo, pakwinga mbyobakute kwiyisha, nteyo milawo yakame, nsombi niya bantu.”
10 And having called near the multitude, he said to them, 'Hear and understand:
Panyuma pakendi Yesu walabakuwa bantu basa, kwambeti bese pepi ne kubambileti, “Kamunyumfwani, kayi munyumfwishishe cena,
11 not that which is coming into the mouth doth defile the man, but that which is coming forth from the mouth, this defileth the man.'
cintu cikute kwingila mu mulomo, nteco cikute kwipisha muntu sobwe, nsombi cisa cikute kupula pamulomo pakendi endico cikute kwipisha muntu.”
12 Then his disciples having come near, said to him, 'Hast thou known that the Pharisees, having heard the word, were stumbled?'
Popelapo beshikwiya bakendi nabo balamwipusheti, “Sena mucinshi kwambeti mubalabanyufwishi nsoni Bafalisi ne ncomulamba?”
13 And he answering said, 'Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant shall be rooted up;
Yesu walambeti, “Imbuto iliyonse yabula kubyalwa ne Bata bakwilu, ni katumunwe.
14 let them alone, guides they are — blind of blind; and if blind may guide blind, both into a ditch shall fall.'
Balekeni, aba nibatangunishi bashipilwa babantu bashipilwa, Lino na washipilwa utangunina washipilwa munendi, babili bonse ni bakawile mucisengu.”
15 And Peter answering said to him, 'Explain to us this simile.'
Pacindici nendi Petulo walamwipusha Yesu kwambeti, “Tupandululwileni mukoshanyowu.”
16 And Jesus said, 'Are ye also yet without understanding?
Yesu walambeti, “Anu ne njamwe kayi nkamulanyumfwishishinga?
17 do ye not understand that all that is going into the mouth doth pass into the belly, and into the drain is cast forth?
Sena kamucinshi kwambeti, ciliconse cilengilinga mumulomo cikute kwingila mulibunda mwakendi, ne kuya kucitaila kucisuwa?
18 but the things coming forth from the mouth from the heart do come forth, and these defile the man;
Nomba bilapulunga mu mulomo wa muntu bikute kufuma mumoyo, neco, ibi ebikute kumwipisha.
19 for out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, whoredoms, thefts, false witnessings, evil speakings:
Pakwinga mu myoyo ya bantu emukute kufuma manjeyaulwa aipa, nambi akushina nambi abupombo nambi abufule nambi akwiba nambi abukamboni bwabwepeshi, kayi ne abufwiyishi.
20 these are the things defiling the man; but to eat with unwashen hands doth not defile the man.'
Ibi ebikute kwipisha muntu. Nteko kulya cakulya kwakubula kusamba kumakasa sobwe.”
21 And Jesus having come forth thence, withdrew to the parts of Tyre and Sidon,
Yesu walafumako, ne kuya kubibela bya Tulo ne Sidoni.
22 and lo, a woman, a Canaanitess, from those borders having come forth, did call to him, saying, 'Deal kindly with me, Sir — Son of David; my daughter is miserably demonized.'
Mutukashi naumbi mu Kenani wamucibela ca kopeloko, walesa kuli Yesu, kabilikisheti, “Kamunyumfwilako nkumbo, Nkambo, Mobana bendi Dafeti. Mwaname mutukashi lapenge kwine pakwinga wekatwa ne mushimu waipa.”
23 And he did not answer her a word; and his disciples having come to him, were asking him, saying — 'Let her away, because she crieth after us;'
Nomba Yesu uliya kumukumbulapo. Beshikwiya bakendi Yesu balesa kumusengeti, “Anu kamumwambilani enga, bonani latuyobekelenga.”
24 and he answering said, 'I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.'
Nendi Yesu walambeti, “Ame ndalatumwa ku mbelele shataika sha Baislayeli.”
25 And having come, she was bowing to him, saying, 'Sir, help me;'
Mutukashi usa walasuntama, ne kwambeti, “Kamunyamfwilishako Nkambo.”
26 and he answering said, 'It is not good to take the children's bread, and to cast to the little dogs.'
Yesu walamwambileti, “Nkacaina kupa bakabwa cakulya cabana.”
27 And she said, 'Yes, sir, for even the little dogs do eat of the crumbs that are falling from their lords' table;'
Mutukashi usa walambeti, “Ee, nicakubinga Nkambo, nomba ntepasa bakabwa bakute nabo kubweselela bilalakanga panshi alyanga mwine ng'anda.”
28 then answering, Jesus said to her, 'O woman, great [is] thy faith, let it be to thee as thou wilt;' and her daughter was healed from that hour.
Nendi Yesu walambeti, “Obe mutukashi lushomo lwakobe ni lunene, cinshike nditu ncolayandanga.” Popelapo mwanendi mutukashi usa walabacena.
29 And Jesus having passed thence, came nigh unto the sea of Galilee, and having gone up to the mountain, he was sitting there,
Kufumapo, Yesu walaya kwendana mu mbali mwa lwenje lwa Galileya, kayi walatanta mulundu ne kwikala panshi kopeloko.
30 and there came to him great multitudes, having with them lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and they did cast them at the feet of Jesus, and he healed them,
Nomba bantu bangi balesa kuli Yesu, balamuletela balwashi, balema myendo ne bashipilwa ne balemana ne bacibulu ne nabambi. mpobalikubaleta pantangu pakendi, walikabasengula bonse.
31 so that the multitudes did wonder, seeing dumb ones speaking, maimed whole, lame walking, and blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
Lino bantu bangi balakankamana, pakubona bacibulu kabamba, balemana kabasengulwa, balema myendo basa kabenda, kayi bashipilwa kabacikonsha kubona, neco balamutembaula Lesa wa Baislayeli.
32 And Jesus having called near his disciples, said, 'I have compassion upon the multitude, because now three days they continue with me, and they have not what they may eat; and to let them away fasting I will not, lest they faint in the way.'
Yesu walakuwa beshikwiya bakendi nekubambileti, “Ame ndabanyumfwilinga luse bantu aba, pakwinga balekala ne njame kwa masuba atatu, kayi kwakubula cakulya. Nkansuni kubambileti, benga kwabo ne nsala kabatana balyapo, pakwinga ngabawisuka bayanga munshila.”
33 And his disciples say to him, 'Whence to us, in a wilderness, so many loaves, as to fill so great a multitude?'
Beshikwiya bakendi balamwipusheti, “Inga kucisuwa kuno ngatucicana kupeyo cakulya celela kukwana bantu bangi cisa?”
34 And Jesus saith to them, 'How many loaves have ye?' and they said, 'Seven, and a few little fishes.'
Nendi Yesu walabepusheti, “Inga mukuteko shinkwa ungaye?” Balo balamukumbuleti, “Usanu ne ubili, kayi ne tunswi twakubelengowa.”
35 And he commanded the multitudes to sit down upon the ground,
Yesu walabambila bantu basa kwambeti bekale panshi.
36 and having taken the seven loaves and the fishes, having given thanks, he did break, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
Panyuma pakendi walamanta shinkwa usanu ne ubili usa ne nswi, walalumba Lesa, ne kukomona komona shinkwa, walapa beshikwiya bakendi, nabo balayabila bantu.
37 And they did all eat, and were filled, and they took up what was over of the broken pieces seven baskets full,
Bantu bonse balalya, balekuta. Balayowela byalashalapo ne kwisusha mitanga isanu ne ibili.
38 and those eating were four thousand men, apart from women and children.
Lino bantu bonse pamo balalya balikuba batuloba myanda makumi ana, kutabelengela kumo batukashi ne batwanike.
39 And having let away the multitudes, he went into the boat, and did come to the borders of Magdala.
