Mark 1
1 A beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, Son of God.
௧தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நற்செய்தியின் ஆரம்பம்.
2 As it hath been written in the prophets, 'Lo, I send My messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee,' —
௨“இதோ, நான் என் தூதுவனை உமக்கு முன்பாக அனுப்புகிறேன், அவன் உமக்கு முன்பேபோய், உமக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணுவான் என்றும்;
3 'A voice of one calling in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight make ye his paths,' —
௩கர்த்தருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள், அவருக்குப் பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைபண்ணுங்கள்” என்று “வனாந்திரத்திலே கூப்பிடுகிறவனுடைய சத்தம் உண்டாகும்” என்றும், தீர்க்கதரிசன புத்தகங்களில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி;
4 John came baptizing in the wilderness, and proclaiming a baptism of reformation — to remission of sins,
௪யோவான் வனாந்திரத்தில் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்து, பாவமன்னிப்புக்கென்று மனந்திரும்புதலுக்கான ஞானஸ்நானத்தைப்பற்றி பிரசங்கம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
5 and there were going forth to him all the region of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and they were all baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
௫அப்பொழுது யூதேயா தேசத்தார் மற்றும் எருசலேம் நகரத்தார் அனைவரும், யோவானிடம்போய், தங்களுடைய பாவங்களை அறிக்கைசெய்து, யோர்தான் நதியில் அவனால் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றார்கள்.
6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and a girdle of skin around his loins, and eating locusts and honey of the field,
௬யோவான் ஒட்டகமயிர் ஆடையை அணிந்து, தன் இடுப்பில் தோல் கச்சையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, வெட்டுக்கிளியையும் காட்டுத்தேனையும் சாப்பிடுகிறவனாகவும் இருந்தான்.
7 and he proclaimed, saying, 'He doth come — who is mightier than I — after me, of whom I am not worthy — having stooped down — to loose the latchet of his sandals;
௭அவன்: என்னைவிட வல்லவர் ஒருவர் எனக்குப்பின்பு வருகிறார், அவருடைய காலணிகளின் வாரைக் குனிந்து அவிழ்ப்பதற்குக்கூட நான் தகுதியானவன் இல்லை.
8 I indeed did baptize you with water, but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit.'
௮நான் தண்ணீரினால் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுக்கிறேன்; அவரோ பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுப்பார் என்று பிரசங்கம்பண்ணினான்.
9 And it came to pass in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John at the Jordan;
௯அந்த நாட்களில், இயேசு கலிலேயாவில் உள்ள நாசரேத்து என்னும் ஊரிலிருந்து வந்து, யோர்தான் நதியில் யோவானால் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றார்.
10 and immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens dividing, and the Spirit as a dove coming down upon him;
௧0அவர் தண்ணீரில் இருந்து கரையேறின உடனே, வானம் திறக்கப்பட்டதையும், ஆவியானவர் புறாவைப்போல தம்மேல் இறங்குகிறதையும் பார்த்தார்.
11 and a voice came out of the heavens, 'Thou art My Son — the Beloved, in whom I did delight.'
௧௧அப்பொழுது, நீர் என்னுடைய நேசகுமாரன், உம்மிடம் பிரியமாக இருக்கிறேன் என்று, வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தம் உண்டானது.
12 And immediately doth the Spirit put him forth to the wilderness,
௧௨உடனே ஆவியானவர் அவரை வனாந்திரத்திற்குப் போகும்படி ஏவினார்.
13 and he was there in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by the Adversary, and he was with the beasts, and the messengers were ministering to him.
௧௩அவர் வனாந்திரத்திலே நாற்பதுநாட்கள் இருந்து, சாத்தானால் சோதிக்கப்பட்டு, அங்கே காட்டுமிருகங்களின் நடுவிலே தங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். தேவதூதர்கள் அவருக்குப் பணிவிடைசெய்தார்கள்.
14 And after the delivering up of John, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of the reign of God,
௧௪யோவான் சிறைக்காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டபின்பு, இயேசு கலிலேயாவிற்கு வந்து, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் நற்செய்தியைப் பிரசங்கம் செய்து:
15 and saying — 'Fulfilled hath been the time, and the reign of God hath come nigh, reform ye, and believe in the good news.'
௧௫காலம் நிறைவேறியது, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் அருகில் இருக்கிறது; மனந்திரும்பி, நற்செய்தியை விசுவாசியுங்கள் என்றார்.
16 And, walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew his brother, casting a drag into the sea, for they were fishers,
௧௬அவர் கலிலேயா கடலின் ஓரமாக நடந்துபோகும்போது, மீனவர்களாக இருந்த சீமோனும், அவன் சகோதரன் அந்திரேயாவும் கடலில் வலையைப் போட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதைப் பார்த்தார்.
17 and Jesus said to them, 'Come ye after me, and I shall make you to become fishers of men;'
௧௭இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: என் பின்னே வாருங்கள், உங்களை மனிதர்களைப் பிடிக்கிறவர்களாக்குவேன் என்றார்.
18 and immediately, having left their nets, they followed him.
௧௮உடனே அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வலைகளைவிட்டு, அவருக்குப் பின்னே சென்றார்கள்.
19 And having gone on thence a little, he saw James of Zebedee, and John his brother, and they were in the boat refitting the nets,
௧௯அவர் அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டுச் சற்றுதூரம் சென்றபோது, செபெதேயுவின் குமாரன் யாக்கோபும் அவனுடைய சகோதரன் யோவானும் படகிலே வலைகளைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்ததைப் பார்த்து,
20 and immediately he called them, and, having left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, they went away after him.
௨0உடனே அவர்களையும் அழைத்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய தகப்பனாகிய செபெதேயுவை படகிலே கூலியாட்களோடு விட்டுவிட்டு, அவருக்குப் பின்னே சென்றார்கள்.
21 And they go on to Capernaum, and immediately, on the sabbaths, having gone into the synagogue, he was teaching,
௨௧பின்பு அவர்கள் கப்பர்நகூமுக்குப் போனார்கள். உடனே அவர் ஓய்வுநாளிலே ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குச் சென்று, போதனை பண்ணினார்.
22 and they were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
௨௨அவர் வேதபண்டிதர்களைப்போல போதிக்காமல், அதிகாரமுடையவராக அவர்களுக்குப் போதித்ததினால் அவருடைய போதனையைக்குறித்து மக்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள்.
23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
௨௩அவர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயத்திலே அசுத்தஆவி பிடித்திருந்த ஒரு மனிதன் இருந்தான்.
24 saying, 'Away! what — to us and to thee, Jesus the Nazarene? thou didst come to destroy us; I have known thee who thou art — the Holy One of God.'
௨௪அவன்: ஐயோ! நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவே, எங்களுக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? எங்களைக் கெடுக்கவா நீர் வந்தீர்? நீர் யார் என்று நான் அறிவேன், நீர் தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்தர் என்று சத்தமாகக் கத்தினான்.
25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, 'Be silenced, and come forth out of him,'
௨௫அதற்கு இயேசு: நீ பேசாமல் இவனைவிட்டு வெளியே போ என்று அதை அதட்டினார்.
26 and the unclean spirit having torn him, and having cried with a great voice, came forth out of him,
௨௬உடனே அந்த அசுத்தஆவி அவனை அலைக்கழித்து, அதிக சத்தம்போட்டு, அவனைவிட்டுப் போய்விட்டது.
27 and they were all amazed, so as to reason among themselves, saying, 'What is this? what new teaching [is] this? that with authority also the unclean spirits he commandeth, and they obey him!'
௨௭எல்லோரும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: இது என்ன? இந்தப் புதிய உபதேசம் எப்படிப்பட்டது? இவர் அதிகாரத்தோடு அசுத்தஆவிகளுக்குக் கட்டளைக் கொடுக்கிறார், அவைகள் இவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதே என்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒருவரோடொருவர் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
28 And the fame of him went forth immediately to all the region, round about, of Galilee.
௨௮எனவே, அவரைப்பற்றின புகழ் கலிலேயா நாடு முழுவதும் பரவியது.
29 And immediately, having come forth out of the synagogue, they went to the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John,
௨௯உடனே அவர்கள் ஜெப ஆலயத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, யாக்கோபு மற்றும் யோவானோடு, சீமோன் அந்திரேயா என்பவர்களுடைய வீட்டிற்குப் போனார்கள்.
30 and the mother-in-law of Simon was lying fevered, and immediately they tell him about her,
௩0அங்கே சீமோனுடைய மாமியார் ஜூரத்தோடு படுத்திருந்தாள்; உடனே அவர்கள் அவளைப்பற்றி அவருக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.
31 and having come near, he raised her up, having laid hold of her hand, and the fever left her immediately, and she was ministering to them.
௩௧அவர் அருகில் சென்று, அவள் கையைப் பிடித்து, அவளைத் தூக்கிவிட்டார்; உடனே ஜூரம் அவளைவிட்டு நீங்கியது; அப்பொழுது அவள் அவர்களுக்குப் பணிவிடைசெய்தாள்.
32 And evening having come, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all who were ill, and who were demoniacs,
௩௨மாலைநேரத்தில் சூரியன் மறையும்போது, எல்லா நோயாளிகளையும், பிசாசு பிடித்தவர்களையும், இயேசுவிடம் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
33 and the whole city was gathered together near the door,
௩௩பட்டணத்து மக்கள் எல்லோரும் வீட்டுவாசலுக்கு முன்பாகக் கூடிவந்தார்கள்.
34 and he healed many who were ill of manifold diseases, and many demons he cast forth, and was not suffering the demons to speak, because they knew him.
௩௪பலவிதமான வியாதிகளினால் கஷ்டப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்த அநேக மக்களை அவர் சுகமாக்கி, அநேக பிசாசுகளையும் துரத்திவிட்டார்; அந்தப் பிசாசுகளுக்கு, அவர் யார் என்று தெரிந்திருந்ததால், அவைகள் பேசுகிறதற்கு அவர் அனுமதிக்கவில்லை.
35 And very early, it being yet night, having risen, he went forth, and went away to a desert place, and was there praying;
௩௫அவர் அதிகாலையில், இருட்டோடு எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, வனாந்திரமான ஒரு இடத்திற்குப்போய், அங்கே ஜெபம்பண்ணினார்.
36 and Simon and those with him went in quest of him,
௩௬சீமோனும் அவனோடுகூட இருந்தவர்களும் அவரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்துபோய்,
37 and having found him, they say to him, — 'All do seek thee;'
௩௭அவரைப் பார்த்தபோது: எல்லோரும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறார்கள் என்று சொன்னார்கள்.
38 and he saith to them, 'We may go to the next towns, that there also I may preach, for for this I came forth.'
௩௮அவர்களை அவர் பார்த்து: அடுத்த ஊர்களிலும் நான் பிரசங்கம் பண்ணவேண்டும், எனவே அந்த இடங்களுக்குப் போகலாம் வாருங்கள்; இதற்காகத்தான் புறப்பட்டுவந்தேன் என்று சொல்லி;
39 And he was preaching in their synagogues, in all Galilee, and is casting out the demons,
௩௯கலிலேயா நாடு முழுவதும் அவர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் அவர் பிரசங்கம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டும், பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்திக்கொண்டும் இருந்தார்.
40 and there doth come to him a leper, calling on him, and kneeling to him, and saying to him — 'If thou mayest will, thou art able to cleanse me.'
௪0அப்பொழுது குஷ்டரோகி ஒருவன் அவரிடம் வந்து, அவர் முன்பாக முழங்கால்படியிட்டு: உமக்கு விருப்பமானால் என்னைச் சுகப்படுத்த உம்மால் முடியும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்.
41 And Jesus having been moved with compassion, having stretched forth the hand, touched him, and saith to him, 'I will; be thou cleansed;'
௪௧இயேசு மனதுருகி, கையை நீட்டி, அவனைத் தொட்டு: எனக்கு விருப்பம் உண்டு, சுத்தமாகு என்றார்.
42 and he having spoken, immediately the leprosy went away from him, and he was cleansed.
௪௨இப்படி அவர் சொன்னவுடனே, குஷ்டரோகம் அவனைவிட்டு நீங்கியது, அவன் சுகம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டான்.
43 And having sternly charged him, immediately he put him forth,
௪௩அப்பொழுது அவர் அவனைப் பார்த்து: நீ இதை யாருக்கும் சொல்லாமல் இருக்க எச்சரிக்கையாக இரு;
44 and saith to him, 'See thou mayest say nothing to any one, but go away, thyself shew to the priest, and bring near for thy cleansing the things Moses directed, for a testimony to them.'
௪௪ஆனாலும் நீ போய், ஆசாரியனுக்கு உன்னைக் காண்பித்து, நீ சுத்தமானதினால், மோசே கட்டளையிட்டபடி அவர்களுக்கு நீ சுகம் பெற்றதின் சாட்சியாக காணிக்கை செலுத்து என்று உறுதியாகச் சொல்லி, உடனே அவனை அனுப்பிவிட்டார்.
45 And he, having gone forth, began to proclaim much, and to spread abroad the thing, so that no more he was able openly to enter into the city, but he was without in desert places, and they were coming unto him from every quarter.
௪௫ஆனால், அவனோ புறப்பட்டுப்போய்; இந்த விஷயங்களை எல்லோருக்கும் சொல்லிப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தினான். எனவே, அவர் வெளிப்படையாகப் பட்டணத்திற்குள் செல்லமுடியாமல், வெளியே வனாந்திரமான இடங்களில் தங்கியிருந்தார்; எல்லாப் பகுதிகளிலும் இருந்து மக்கள் அவரிடம் வந்தார்கள்.
