Luke 22
1 And the feast of the unleavened food was coming nigh, that is called Passover,
၁ပသခါ အမည်ရှိ သော အဇုမ ပွဲ ခံခါနီး တွင် ၊
2 and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take him up, for they were afraid of the people.
၂ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီးတို့နှင့် ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို အဘယ်သို့ သတ် ရအံ့နည်းဟု ရှာကြံ ရကြသနည်းဟူမူကား၊ လူ များတို့ကို ကြောက် ကြ၏။
3 And the Adversary entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve,
၃ထိုအခါ စာတန် သည် တပည့် တော်တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးအဝင်ဖြစ် သော ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ် အထဲ သို့ဝင် သည် ဖြစ်၍၊
4 and he, having gone away, spake with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver him up to them,
၄ထိုသူသည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီးများ၊ ဗိမာန်တော်မှူး များတို့ထံသို့သွား ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ယေရှု ကို အဘယ်သို့ အပ် ရမည်နည်းဟူ၍ တိုင်ပင် လေ၏။
5 and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,
၅ထိုသူ တို့သည်ဝမ်းမြောက်သောစိတ် ရှိ၍ ငွေ ပေး မည်ဟု ဝန်ခံ ကြ၏။
6 and he agreed, and was seeking a favourable season to deliver him up to them without tumult.
၆ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ်သည်လည်းဝန်ခံ ပြီးမှ လူ များမ ရှိစဉ်တွင်ကိုယ်တော် ကို အပ် ခြင်းငှာအဆင်သင့် သော အချိန်ကာလကို ကြံ လျက် နေ၏။
7 And the day of the unleavened food came, in which it was behoving the passover to be sacrificed,
၇ပသခါ သိုးသငယ်ကို သတ် ရသောနေ့တည်းဟူသောအဇုမ ပွဲနေ့ ရောက် သောအခါ၊
8 and he sent Peter and John, saying, 'Having gone on, prepare to us the passover, that we may eat;'
၈ကိုယ်တော်က၊ ငါ တို့ စား ဘို့ရာ သင်တို့သည်သွား ၍ ပသခါ ပွဲကို ပြင်ဆင် ကြလော့ ဟု ပေတရု နှင့် ယောဟန် ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏။
9 and they said to him, 'Where wilt thou that we might prepare?'
၉သူတို့ကလည်း ၊ အဘယ် အရပ်၌ ပြင်ဆင် စေခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ တော်မူသနည်းဟု မေးလျှောက် ကြသော်၊
10 And he said to them, 'Lo, in your entering into the city, there shall meet you a man, bearing a pitcher of water, follow him to the house where he doth go in,
၁၀ကိုယ်တော်က၊ သင် တို့သည် မြို့ ထဲသို့ ဝင် သောအခါ ရေ အိုး ဆောင် သောသူ ကိုတွေ့ လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသူ နောက် သို့ လိုက်၍ သူဝင် သောအိမ် သို့ ဝင်ပြီးမှ၊
11 and ye shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith to thee, Where is the guest-chamber where the passover with my disciples I may eat?
၁၁ငါသည် ငါ့ တပည့် တို့နှင့်တကွ ပသခါ ပွဲကိုစား ရသော ဧည့်သည်အခန်း ကား အဘယ်မှာ ရှိ သနည်း။ ဆရာ က မေး သည်ဟု အိမ် ရှင် ကို ပြော ကြလော့။
12 and he shall show you a large upper room furnished, there make ready;'
၁၂ထိုသူ သည် ပြင်ဆင် လျက်ရှိသောအထက်အခန်း ကြီး ကို ပြ လိမ့်မည်။ ထို အခန်း၌ ပြင်ဆင် ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
13 and they, having gone away, found as he hath said to them, and they made ready the passover.
၁၃တပည့် တော်တို့သည် သွား ၍ စကား တော်အတိုင်း တွေ့ လျှင် ၊ ပသခါ ပွဲကို ပြင်ဆင် ကြ၏။
14 And when the hour come, he reclined (at meat), and the twelve apostles with him,
၁၄အချိန် ရောက် မှ တမန်တော် တစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးတို့နှင့်အတူ စားပွဲ၌ လျောင်း တော်မူ၍ ၊
15 and he said unto them, 'With desire I did desire to eat this passover with you before my suffering,
၁၅ငါ သည် အသေမ ခံ မှီ ဤ ပသခါ ပွဲကို သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ စား ခြင်းငှာအလွန် အလိုရှိ လေပြီ။
16 for I say to you, that no more may I eat of it till it may be fulfilled in the reign of God.'
၁၆ငါ ဆိုသည်ကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော်၌ ပသခါပွဲမ ပြည့်စုံ မှီတိုင်အောင် ယခုမှစ၍ဤ ပွဲကို တဖန် ငါမ စား ရ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူလျက်၊
17 And having taken a cup, having given thanks, he said, 'Take this and divide to yourselves,
၁၇ခွက်ဖလား ကို ယူ ၍ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှ၊ ဤ ခွက်ကို ယူ ၍ အချင်းချင်း ဝေ ကြလော့။
18 for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine till the reign of God may come.'
၁၈ငါ ဆိုသည်ကား ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နိုင်ငံ တော် မ တည် မှီတိုင်အောင် ယခု မှစ၍ စပျစ်ရည် ကိုတဖန် ငါ မ သောက်ရ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
19 And having taken bread, having given thanks, he brake and gave to them, saying, 'This is my body, that for you is being given, this do ye — to remembrance of me.'
၁၉ထိုအခါ မုန့် ကိုယူ ၍ ကျေးဇူး တော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှမုန့်ကိုဖဲ့ ၍ ၊ ဤ မုန့်ကား သင် တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှာ စွန့် သော ငါ ၏ကိုယ် ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ့ ကို အောက်မေ့ ဘို့ရာ ဤသို့ ပြု ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
20 In like manner, also, the cup after the supping, saying, 'This cup [is] the new covenant in my blood, that for you is being poured forth.
၂၀ထိုနည်းတူ ညစာစား ပြီးမှ ခွက် ကိုလည်း ယူ၍၊ ဤ ခွက် ကား သင် တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှာ သွန်း သော ငါ ၏ အသွေး ၌ တည်သော ပဋိညာဉ်တရား သစ် ဖြစ်၏။
21 'But, lo, the hand of him delivering me up [is] with me on the table,
၂၁သို့သော်လည်း ငါ့ ကို အပ်နှံ သောသူ ၏လက် သည် ဤစားပွဲ ပေါ်မှာ ငါ့ လက်နှင့်အတူ ရှိ ၏။
22 and indeed the Son of Man doth go according to what hath been determined; but woe to that man through whom he is being delivered up.'
၂၂ခွဲခန့် မှတ်သားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း လူ သား သည် သွား ရမည်။ သို့သော်လည်း လူ သားကို အပ်နှံ သော သူ သည် အမင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
23 And they began to reason among themselves, who then of them it may be, who is about to do this thing.
၂၃တပည့် တော်တို့သည်လည်း ထိုအမှု ကို အဘယ်သူ ပြု အံ့နည်းဟု အချင်းချင်း မေးမြန်း ကြ၏။
24 And there happened also a strife among them — who of them is accounted to be greater.
၂၄ထိုမှတစ်ပါး တပည့်တော်တို့သည် မိမိ တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ သည် သာ၍ ကြီးမြတ်သနည်းဟု အချင်းချင်း ငြင်းခုံ ခြင်းရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊
25 And he said to them, 'The kings of the nations do exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority upon them are called benefactors;
၂၅ကိုယ်တော် က၊ လောကီ မင်း တို့သည် အစိုးတရ ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။ အာဏာ ထားသောသူ တို့ကိုလည်း ကျေးဇူး ရှင်ဟူ၍ခေါ်ဝေါ် ကြ၏။
26 but ye [are] not so, but he who is greater among you — let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;
၂၆သင် တို့မူကား ထိုသို့ မ ပြုကြနှင့်၊ သင် တို့တွင် အကဲအမှူး ပြုသောသူ ကို ငယ်သား ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်စေ ။ အုပ်စိုး သောသူ ကိုလည်း အစေခံ ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်စေ။
27 for who is greater? he who is reclining (at meat), or he who is ministering? is it not he who is reclining (at meat)? and I — I am in your midst as he who is ministering.
၂၇အဘယ်သူ သည် သာ၍ ကြီးမြတ်သနည်း။ စားပွဲ ၌ လျောင်းသောသူ သည်ကြီးမြတ်သလော ။ လုပ်ကျွေး သောသူ သည် ကြီးမြတ်သလော။ စားပွဲ ၌ လျောင်းသောသူ သည်ကြီးမြတ်သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါ သည် သင် တို့တွင် လုပ်ကျွေး သောသူ ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် ၏။
28 'And ye — ye are those who have remained with me in my temptations,
၂၈ငါ သည် စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းကို ခံစဉ် တွင်သင် တို့သည် ငါ ၌မှီဝဲ သောသူ ဖြစ် ရာ၏။
29 and I appoint to you, as my Father did appoint to me, a kingdom,
၂၉ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ့ အား နိုင်ငံ ကို ပေး တော်မူသည်နှင့်အညီ ၊
30 that ye may eat and may drink at my table, in my kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.'
၃၀သင်တို့သည် ငါ ၏နိုင်ငံ တွင် ငါ့ စားပွဲ ၌ စား သောက် သောအခွင့်ကို၎င်း၊ တရား ပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင် ၍ ဣသရေလ လူတစ်ဆယ်နှစ် မျိုး ကို အုပ်စိုး ရသောအခွင့်ကို၎င်း၊ ငါ သည် သင် တို့အား ပေး မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
31 And the Lord said, 'Simon, Simon, lo, the Adversary did ask you for himself to sift as the wheat,
၃၁တဖန် သခင်ဘုရားက ၊ ရှိမုန် ၊ ရှိမုန် ၊ ဂျုံဆန် ကို ဆန်ခါ နှင့်ချသကဲ့သို့ စာတန် သည် သင် တို့ကို ချရမည်အကြောင်း အခွင့်တောင်းသည်ဖြစ်၍၊
32 and I besought for thee, that thy faith may not fail; and thou, when thou didst turn, strengthen thy brethren.'
၃၂သင် ၏ယုံကြည် သောစိတ် မ ပျက်စေခြင်းငှာ ငါ သည် သင့် အဘို့ ဆုတောင်း လေပြီ။ သင် သည် သတိရ ပြန်သောအခါ သင် ၏ညီအစ်ကို တို့ကို တည်ကြည် စေလော့ ဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊
33 And he said to him, 'Sir, with thee I am ready both to prison and to death to go;'
၃၃ပေတရုက၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်အတူ ထောင် ထဲသို့ ၎င်း ၊ အသေ သတ်ခြင်းသို့ ၎င်း လိုက် ခြင်းငှာအသင့် ရှိ ပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် လေသော်၊
34 and he said, 'I say to thee, Peter, a cock shall not crow to-day, before thrice thou mayest disown knowing me.'
၃၄သခင်ဘုရားက၊ ပေတရု ၊ ငါဆို သည်ကား၊ ယနေ့ တွင် ကြက် မ တွန် မှီ သင် သည် ငါ့ ကို မသိ ဟုသုံး ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် ငြင်းပယ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
35 And he said to them, 'When I sent you without bag, and scrip, and sandals, did ye lack anything?' and they said, 'Nothing.'
၃၅တဖန် မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အထက်က ငွေအိတ် ၊ လွယ်အိတ် ၊ ခြေနင်း မ ပါဘဲ သွားကြလော့ဟု သင် တို့ကို ငါစေလွှတ် သောအခါ တစ်စုံတစ်ခု လိုသလောဟု မေးလျှင်၊ တစ်စုံတစ်ခုမျှ မ လိုပါဟု လျှောက် ကြသော် ၊
36 Then said he to them, 'But, now, he who is having a bag, let him take [it] up, and in like manner also a scrip; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,
၃၆ယခု မူကား ငွေအိတ် ရှိ သောသူ သည် ယူ စေ။ လွယ်အိတ် ရှိသောသူသည် ယူစေ။ ဓား မ ရှိ သော သူ သည် အဝတ် ကိုရောင်း ၍ ထားကိုဝယ် စေ။
37 for I say to you, that yet this that hath been written it behoveth to be fulfilled in me: And with lawless ones he was reckoned, for also the things concerning me have an end.'
၃၇အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူသည်မတရား သောသူတို့နှင့် ရေတွက် ဝင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်၏ဟူသော ကျမ်းစာ ချက်သည် ငါ ၌ ယခုပင် ပြည့်စုံ ရ မည်။ ငါ့ အမှုအရာတို့သည် ပြီးစီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် ကြပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
38 And they said, 'Sir, lo, here [are] two swords;' and he said to them, 'It is sufficient.'
၃၈ထိုသူ တို့ကလည်း ၊ သခင် ၊ ဓား နှစ် စင်းရှိပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊ တန် ပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
39 And having gone forth, he went on, according to custom, to the mount of the Olives, and his disciples also followed him,
၃၉ထိုနောက် အလေ့ တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း သံလွင် တောင် သို့ ထွက် ကြွ တော်မူ၍၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက် ကြ၏။
40 and having come to the place, he said to them, 'Pray ye not to enter into temptation.'
၄၀ထိုအရပ် သို့ ရောက် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ သင်တို့သည် စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်မည်အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်း ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပြီးမှ၊
41 And he was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone's cast, and having fallen on the knees he was praying,
၄၁တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့် ကျောက်ခဲ တပစ် လောက် ခွာသွား ၍ ဒူး ထောက် လျက်၊
42 saying, 'Father, if Thou be counselling to make this cup pass from me —; but, not my will, but Thine be done.' —
၄၂အိုအဘ ၊ အလိုတော်ရှိ လျှင် ဤ ခွက် ကို အကျွန်ုပ် မှ လွှဲ တော်မူပါ။ သို့သော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ် အလိုရှိ သည်အတိုင်း မ ဖြစ်ပါစေနှင့်။ ကိုယ်တော် အလိုရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ် ပါစေသော ဟု ဆုတောင်း တော်မူ၏။
43 And there appeared to him a messenger from heaven strengthening him;
၄၃ထိုအခါ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ထင်ရှား လာ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အားပေး ရ၏။
44 and having been in agony, he was more earnestly praying, and his sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling upon the ground.
၄၄ပြင်းစွာ သောဝေဒနာကိုခံ လျက် အထူးသဖြင့် ကြိုးစား၍ ဆုတောင်း တော်မူ၏။ ချွေး ထွက် တော်မူသည် ကား ၊ မြေ ပေါ်၌ ကျ သော သွေး စက် ခဲကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သတည်း။
45 And having risen up from the prayer, having come unto the disciples, he found them sleeping from the sorrow,
၄၅ထိုသို့ဆုတောင်း ပြီးမှ ၊ ယေရှုသည်ထ ၍ တပည့် တော်တို့ရှိရာသို့ ပြန် သောအခါ၊ သူ တို့သည် ဝမ်းနည်းသောစိတ် ရှိသည်နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် လျက် နေကြသည်ကို တွေ့ တော်မူလျှင်၊
46 and he said to them, 'Why do ye sleep? having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation.'
၄၆သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် အိပ်ပျော် ကြသနည်း။ ထ ကြ။ စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ် မည် အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်း ကြလော့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
47 And while he is speaking, lo, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the twelve, was coming before them, and he came nigh to Jesus to kiss him,
၄၇ထိုသို့ မိန့် တော်မူစဉ် တွင် ပင် တပည့်တော်တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးအဝင်ဖြစ် သော ယုဒ ရှကာရုတ်သည် လူ အပေါင်းတို့ကို လမ်းပြလျက်လာ ၍ ၊ ယေရှု ကို နမ်း ခြင်းငှာချဉ်းကပ် လေ၏။
48 and Jesus said to him, 'Judas, with a kiss the Son of Man dost thou deliver up?'
၄၈ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ယုဒါ သင်သည် နမ်း ခြင်းကို ပြုလျက် လူ သား ကိုအပ် သလော ဟု မေး တော်မူ၏။
49 And those about him, having seen what was about to be, said to him, 'Sir, shall we smite with a sword?'
၄၉ယေရှု နှင့်အတူ ပါသောသူတို့သည် ဖြစ် အံ့သောအမှု ကို မြင် လျှင် ၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဓား နှင့် ခုတ် ရပါမည်လောဟု မေးလျှောက် ပြီးမှ၊
50 And a certain one of them smote the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,
၅၀တစ် ယောက်သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း၏ ကျွန် တစ် ယောက်ကို ခုတ် သဖြင့် လက်ျာ နားရွက် ပြတ် လေ၏။
51 and Jesus answering said, 'Suffer ye thus far,' and having touched his ear, he healed him.
၅၁ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ တန် စေ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၍ နားရွက် ကို လက်တော်နှင့်တို့ သဖြင့် အနာကို ပျောက် စေတော်မူ၏။
52 And Jesus said to those having come upon him — chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders — 'As upon a robber have ye come forth, with swords and sticks?
၅၂ထိုအခါ အထံ တော်သို့ ရောက်လာ သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး၊ ဗိမာန် တော်မှူး ၊ လူ အကြီးအကဲတို့ အား ယေရှု က၊ သင်တို့သည် ဓားပြ ကို ဖမ်း သကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ကို ဘမ်း အံ့သောငှာဓား နှင့် ဒုတ် များကို လက်စွဲလျက်လာ ကြသည်တကား။
53 while daily I was with you in the temple, ye did stretch forth no hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.'
၅၃ငါ သည် ဗိမာန် တော်၌ သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှိ နေစဉ်အခါသင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို မ ဘမ်း မဆီးကြ။ သို့သော်လည်း ယခု အချိန်ကား သင် တို့အချိန် ဖြစ် ၏။ မှောင်မိုက် တန်ခိုး လည်းဖြစ်၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
54 And having taken him, they led and brought him to the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following afar off,
၅၄ထိုသူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ဘမ်းဆီး ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်း၏အိမ် သို့ ဆောင်သွား ကြ၏။ ပေတရု သည်လည်း သူတို့နှင့် ဝေး စွာလိုက် လေ၏။
55 and they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,
၅၅အိမ်ဦး အလယ် ၌ မီး မွေး ပြီးမှ၊ လူများတို့ သည် စုဝေး၍ ထိုင် ကြလျှင်၊ ပေတရု သည်လည်း သူ တို့အထဲ ၌ ထိုင်နေ၏။
56 and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, 'And this one was with him!'
၅၆ထိုသို့ ပေတရု သည် မီး အနား မှာ ထိုင် နေသည်ကို အစေအပါး မိန်းမတစ် ယောက်သည်မြင် လျှင် ၊ သူ့ ကို စေ့စေ့ ကြည့်၍ ၊ ဤသူ သည် ယေရှု နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်သောသူဖြစ် သည်ဟု ဆို သော် ၊
57 and he disowned him, saying, 'Woman, I have not known him.'
၅၇ပေတရုက၊ အချင်းမိန်းမ ၊ ထိုသူ ကို ငါမ သိ ဟု ငြင်း လေ၏။
58 And after a little, another having seen him, said, 'And thou art of them!' and Peter said, 'Man, I am not.'
၅၈ထိုနောက် များမကြာ အခြားသော သူသည် ပေတရု ကိုမြင် လျှင် ၊ သင် သည်လည်း ထိုသူ တို့အဝင် ဖြစ် သည်ဟုဆို သော်၊ ပေတရု က ၊ အချင်းလူ ၊ ငါသည် သူတို့ အဝင်မ ဟုတ် ဟု ဆို ၏။
59 And one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, 'Of a truth this one also was with him, for he is also a Galilean;'
၅၉တဖန် တ နာရီလောက် ကြာ ပြီးမှအခြား သောသူ က၊ အကယ်စင်စစ် ဤသူ သည် ယေရှု နှင့် ပေါင်းဖော်သောသူဖြစ် ၏။ ဂါလိလဲ လူလည်း ဖြစ် ၏ဟု ခိုင်မာ စွာဆို လျှင် ၊
60 and Peter said, 'Man, I have not known what thou sayest;' and presently, while he is speaking, a cock crew.
၆၀ပေတရု က ၊ အချင်းလူ ၊ သင်ပြော သောအရာ ကို ငါမ သိ ဟုဆို ၏။ ထိုစကားကိုပြော သော ခဏခြင်း တွင် ကြက် တွန် လေ၏။
61 And the Lord having turned did look on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him — 'Before a cock shall crow, thou mayest disown me thrice;'
၆၁ထိုအခါ သခင် ဘုရားသည်လှည့် ၍ ပေတရု ကို ကြည့် တော်မူ၏။ ကြက် မ တွန် မှီ သင်သည် သုံး ကြိမ်မြောက်အောင် ငါ့ ကို ငြင်းပယ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသောစကား ကို ပေတရု သည် သတိရ သဖြင့် ၊
62 and Peter having gone without, wept bitterly.
၆၂ပြင် သို့ထွက် ၍ ပြင်းစွာ ငိုကြွေး လေ၏။
63 And the men who were holding Jesus were mocking him, beating [him];
၆၃ယေရှု ကို ကိုင်ဆွဲ သောသူ တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် ကို ပြက်ယယ်ပြု ၍ ရိုက်ပုတ် ကြ၏။
64 and having blindfolded him, they were striking him on the face, and were questioning him, saying, 'Prophesy who he is who smote thee?'
၆၄မျက်နှာ တော်ကိုဖုံး ပြီးလျှင် လက်နှင့်ပုတ်လျက်၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အဘယ်သူ ပုတ် သည်ကို ပရောဖက် ပြု၍ ဟောတော်မူပါဟုဆို ကြ၏။
65 and many other things, speaking evilly, they spake in regard to him.
၆၅အခြား သောစကားများ ဖြင့်လည်း ကိုယ်တော် ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ ၍ ပြောဆို ကြသေး၏။
66 And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led him up to their own sanhedrim,
၆၆မိုဃ်းလင်းသောအခါ လူ တို့တွင် အကြီးအကဲ ဖြစ်သောသူ ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့ သည် စည်းဝေး ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကို လွှတ်တော် သို့ ဆောင်သွား ပြီးလျှင် ၊
67 saying, 'If thou be the Christ, tell us.' And he said to them, 'If I may tell you, ye will not believe;
၆၇သင် သည် ခရစ်တော် မှန် လျှင် ငါ တို့အား ပြော လော့ဟုဆို ကြ၏။ ယေရှုကလည်း ၊ ငါပြော လျှင် သင် တို့ သည် မ ယုံ ။
68 and if I also question [you], ye will not answer me or send me away;
၆၈ငါမေး လျှင် လည်း သင်တို့သည် မ ဖြေ ဘဲ၊ ငါ့ကို မ လွှတ်ဘဲနေကြလိမ့်မည်။
69 henceforth, there shall be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.'
၆၉နောက်၌ လူ သား သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ တန်ခိုး တော်လက်ျာ ဘက်၌ ထိုင် တော်မူလတံ့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူသော်၊
70 And they all said, 'Thou, then, art the Son of God?' and he said unto them, 'Ye say [it], because I am;'
၇၀ထိုသူအပေါင်း တို့က ၊ သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင် သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ သား တော်မှန် သည်တကားဟု ဆို ကြလျှင် ၊ သင် တို့ဆို သည်အတိုင်း မှန် သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
71 and they said, 'What need yet have we of testimony? for we ourselves did hear [it] from his mouth.'
၇၁ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း ၊ အဘယ် သက်သေ လို သေး သနည်း။ သူ ၏စကား ကို ငါ တို့ကိုယ်တိုင်ကြား ရပြီဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
