Leviticus 5
1 'And when a person doth sin, and hath heard the voice of an oath, and he [is] witness, or hath seen, or hath known — if he declare not, then he hath borne his iniquity:
௧“சாட்சியாகிய ஒருவன், இடப்பட்ட ஆணையைக் கேட்டிருந்தும், தான் கண்டதையும் அறிந்ததையும் தெரிவிக்காமலிருந்து பாவம்செய்தால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.
2 'Or when a person cometh against any thing unclean, or against a carcase of an unclean beast, or against a carcase of unclean cattle, or against a carcase of an unclean teeming creature, and it hath been hidden from him, and he unclean, and guilty;
௨அசுத்தமான காட்டு மிருகத்தின் உடலையாவது, அசுத்தமான நாட்டு மிருகத்தின் உடலையாவது, அசுத்தமான ஊரும் பிராணிகளின் உடலையாவது, இந்தவித அசுத்தமான யாதொரு பொருளையாவது, ஒருவன் அறியாமல் தொட்டால், அவன் தீட்டும் குற்றமும் உள்ளவனாவான்.
3 'Or when he cometh against uncleanness of man, even any of his uncleanness whereby he is unclean, and it hath been hidden from him, and he hath known, and hath been guilty:
௩அல்லது எந்த அசுத்தத்தினாலாகிலும் தீட்டுப்பட்ட ஒரு மனிதனை ஒருவன் அறியாமல் தொட்டு, பின்பு அதை அறிந்துகொண்டால், அவன் குற்றமுள்ளவனாவான்.
4 'Or when a person sweareth, speaking wrongfully with the lips to do evil, or to do good, even anything which man speaketh wrongfully with an oath, and it hath been hid from him; — when he hath known then he hath been guilty of one of these;
௪மனிதர்கள் பதறி ஆணையிடும் எந்தக் காரியத்திலானாலும், ஒருவன் தீமை செய்கிறதற்காவது நன்மை செய்கிறதற்காவது, தன் மனம் அறியாமல், தன் உதடுகளினால் பதறி ஆணையிட்டு, பின்பு அவன் அதை அறிந்துகொண்டால், அதைக்குறித்துக் குற்றமுள்ளவனாவான்.
5 'And it hath been when he is guilty of one of these, that he hath confessed concerning that which he hath sinned,
௫இப்படிப்பட்டவைகள் ஒன்றில், ஒருவன் குற்றமுள்ளவனாகும்போது, அவன், தான் செய்தது பாவம் என்று அறிக்கையிட்டு,
6 and hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female out of the flock, a lamb, or a kid of the goats, for a sin-offering, and the priest hath made atonement for him, because of his sin.
௬தான் செய்த பாவத்திற்குப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாக, ஆடுகளிலாவது வெள்ளாடுகளிலாவது, ஒரு பெண்குட்டியைக் குற்றநிவாரணபலியாகக் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்; அதினாலே ஆசாரியன் அவன் செய்த பாவத்தைக்குறித்து அவனுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்.
7 'And if his hand reach not to the sufficiency of a lamb, then he hath brought in his guilt-offering — he who hath sinned — two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to Jehovah, one for a sin-offering, and one for a burnt-offering;
௭“ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைக் கொண்டுவர அவனுக்குச் சக்தியில்லாதிருந்தால், அவன் செய்த குற்றத்திற்காக இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறாக்களையாவது, இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவது, ஒன்றைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும் மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகவும், யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்.
8 and he hath brought them in unto the priest, and hath brought near that which [is] for a sin-offering first, and hath wrung off its head from its neck, and doth not separate [it],
௮அவைகளை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவருவானாக; அவன் பாவநிவாரணபலிக்குரியதை முதலில் செலுத்தி, அதின் தலையை அதின் கழுத்திலிருந்து கிள்ளி, அதை இரண்டாக்காமல் வைத்து,
9 and he hath sprinkled of the blood of the sin-offering on the side of the altar, and that which is left of the blood is wrung out at the foundation of the altar; it [is] a sin-offering.
௯அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, பலிபீடத்தின் பக்கத்தில் தெளித்து, மீதியான இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே வடியவிடுவானாக; இது பாவநிவாரணபலி.
10 'And the second he maketh a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance, and the priest hath made atonement for him, because of his sin which he hath sinned, and it hath been forgiven him.
௧0மற்றதை நியமத்தின்படியே அவன் தகனபலியாகச் செலுத்தக்கடவன்; இந்தவிதமாக அவன் செய்த பாவத்தை ஆசாரியன் நிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.
11 'And if his hand reach not to two turtle-doves, or to two young pigeons, then he hath brought in his offering — he who hath sinned — a tenth of an ephah of flour for a sin-offering; he putteth no oil on it, nor doth he put on it frankincense, for it [is] a sin-offering,
௧௧“இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறாக்களையாவது இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவது கொண்டுவர அவனுக்குச் சக்தியில்லாதிருந்தால், பாவம் செய்தவன் பாவநிவாரணத்திற்காக ஒரு கிலோ அளவான மெல்லிய மாவிலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கைத் தன் காணிக்கையாகக் கொண்டுவருவானாக; அது பாவநிவாரணபலியாக இருப்பதினால், அதின்மேல் எண்ணெய் ஊற்றாமலும் தூபவர்க்கம் போடாமலும் இருந்து,
12 and he hath brought it in unto the priest, and the priest hath taken a handful from it — the fulness of his hand — its memorial — and hath made perfume on the altar, according to the fire-offerings of Jehovah; it [is] a sin-offering.
௧௨அதை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்; அதிலே ஆசாரியன் நன்றியின் அடையாளமான பங்காகத் தன் கைப்பிடி நிறைய எடுத்து, யெகோவாவுக்குச் செலுத்தும் தகனபலிகளைப்போல, பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் எரிக்கக்கடவன்; இது பாவநிவாரணபலி.
13 'And the priest hath made atonement for him, for his sin which he hath sinned against one of these, and it hath been forgiven him, and [the remnant] hath been to the priest, like the present.'
௧௩இந்தவிதமாக மேற்சொல்லிய காரியங்கள் ஒன்றில் அவன் செய்த பாவத்திற்காக ஆசாரியன் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும், மீதியானது உணவுபலியைப்போல ஆசாரியனைச் சேரும் என்றார்.
14 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
௧௪பின்னும் யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:
15 'When a person committeth a trespass, and hath sinned through ignorance against the holy things of Jehovah, then he hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah, a ram, a perfect one, out of the flock, at thy valuation [in] silver — shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary — for a guilt-offering.
௧௫“ஒருவன் யெகோவாவுக்குரிய பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் குற்றம்செய்து, அறியாமையினால் பாவத்திற்குட்பட்டால், அவன் தன் குற்றத்திற்காக பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துச் சேக்கல் கணக்கின்படியே, நீ அவன்மேல் சுமத்தும் அபராதம் எவ்வளவோ, அவ்வளவு வெள்ளிச் சேக்கல் மதிப்புள்ள பழுதற்ற ஒரு ஆட்டுக்கடாவை குற்றநிவாரணபலியாகக் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவந்து,
16 'And that which he hath sinned against the holy thing he repayeth, and its fifth is adding to it, and hath given it to the priest, and the priest maketh atonement for him with the ram of the guilt-offering, and it hath been forgiven him.
௧௬பரிசுத்தமானதைக்குறித்துத் தான் செய்த குற்றத்தினால் உண்டான நஷ்டத்தைச் செலுத்தி, அத்துடன் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கை அதிகமாகக் கூட்டி, ஆசாரியனுக்குக் கொடுப்பானாக; குற்றநிவாரணபலியாகிய ஆட்டுக்கடாவினாலே அவனுக்காக ஆசாரியன் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.
17 'And when any person sinneth, and hath done [something against] one of all the commands of Jehovah [regarding things] which are not to be done, and hath not known, and he hath been guilty, and hath borne his iniquity,
௧௭“ஒருவன் செய்யத்தகாததென்று யெகோவாவுடைய கட்டளைகளினால் விலக்கப்பட்ட யாதொன்றைச் செய்து பாவத்திற்குட்பட்டால், அதை அவன் அறியாமையினால் செய்தாலும், அவன் குற்றமுள்ளவனாக இருந்து, தன் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.
18 'Then he hath brought in a ram, a perfect one, out of the flock, at thy valuation, for a guilt-offering, unto the priest; and the priest hath made atonement for him, for his ignorance in which he hath erred and he hath not known, and it hath been forgiven him;
௧௮அதினால் அவன் குற்றநிவாரணபலியாக, உன் மதிப்பிற்குச் சரியான பழுதற்ற ஒரு ஆட்டுக்கடாவை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவருவானாக; அவன் அறியாமல் செய்த குற்றத்தை ஆசாரியன் அவனுக்காக நிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.
19 it [is] a guilt-offering; he hath been certainly guilty before Jehovah.'
௧௯இது குற்றநிவாரணபலி; அவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாகக் குற்றம்செய்தான் என்பது நிச்சயம் என்றார்.
