Leviticus 20

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

౧యెహోవా మోషేకు ఇలా ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు. “నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇలా చెప్పు.

2 'And unto the sons of Israel thou dost say, Any man of the sons of Israel, and of the sojourners who is sojourning in Israel, who giveth of his seed to the Molech, is certainly put to death; the people of the land do stone him with stones;

౨ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల్లో గానీ ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల్లో నివసించే పరదేశుల్లోగాని ఎవరైనా తన పిల్లలను మోలెకు దేవుడికి ఇస్తే వాడికి తప్పకుండా మరణ శిక్ష విధించాలి. ప్రజలు వాణ్ణి రాళ్లతో కొట్టి చంపాలి.

3 and I — I set My face against that man, and have cut him off from the midst of his people, for of his seed he hath given to the Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary, and to pollute My holy name.

౩అతడు తన సంతానాన్ని మోలెకుకు ఇచ్చి నా పరిశుద్ధ స్థలాన్ని అపవిత్రపరచి నా పవిత్ర నామాన్ని కలుషితం చేశాడు గనక నేను అతనికి శత్రువునై ప్రజల్లో అతడు లేకుండా చేస్తాను.

4 'And if the people of the land really hide their eyes from that man, in his giving of his seed to the Molech, so as not to put him to death,

౪ఆ వ్యక్తి తన సంతానాన్ని మోలెకుకు ఇస్తుండగా మీ దేశ ప్రజలు చూసి కూడా కళ్ళు మూసుకుంటే, వాణ్ణి చంపక పొతే

5 then I have set My face against that man, and against his family, and have cut him off, and all who are going a-whoring after him, even going a-whoring after the Molech, from the midst of their people.

౫అప్పుడు నేనే వాడికి, వాడి వంశానికి విరోధినై వాణ్ణి ప్రజల్లో లేకుండా చేస్తాను. మోలెకుతో వేశ్యరికం చెయ్యడానికి వాడి వెంటబడి వ్యభిచారం చేసే వారందరినీ ప్రజల్లో లేకుండా చేస్తాను.

6 'And the person who turneth unto those having familiar spirits, and unto the wizards, to go a-whoring after them, I have even set My face against that person, and cut him off from the midst of his people.

౬చచ్చిన వారితో మాట్లాడుతామని చెప్పేవారితో సోదె చెప్పే వారితో వేశ్యరికం చెయ్యడానికి వారివైపు తిరిగే వారికి నేను విరోధినై ప్రజల్లో వాణ్ణి లేకుండా చేస్తాను.

7 'And ye have sanctified yourselves, and ye have been holy, for I [am] Jehovah your God;

౭కాబట్టి మిమ్మల్ని మీరు దేవునికి ప్రతిష్టించుకుని పవిత్రంగా ఉండండి. నేను మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను.

8 and ye have kept My statutes and have done them; I [am] Jehovah, sanctifying you.

౮మీరు నా శాసనాలను పాటించి వాటి ప్రకారం చెయ్యాలి. నేను మిమ్మల్ని పవిత్ర పరచే యెహోవాను.

9 'For any man who revileth his father and his mother is certainly put to death; his father and his mother he hath reviled: his blood [is] on him.

౯ఎవడు తన తండ్రినిగానీ తన తల్లినిగానీ దూషిస్తాడో వాడికి మరణశిక్ష విధించాలి. వాడు తన తండ్రినో తల్లినో దుర్భాషలాడాడు గనక అతడు దోషి, మరణ శిక్షకు పాత్రుడు.

10 'And a man who committeth adultery with a man's wife — who committeth adultery with the wife of his neighbour — the adulterer and the adulteress are surely put to death.

౧౦వేరొకడి భార్యతో వ్యభిచరించిన వాడికి, అంటే తన పొరుగు వాడి భార్యతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్న వాడికి-ఆ వ్యభిచారికి, వ్యభిచారిణికి మరణశిక్ష విధించాలి.

11 'And a man who lieth with his father's wife — the nakedness of his father he hath uncovered — both of them are certainly put to death; their blood [is] on them.

౧౧తన తండ్రి భార్యతో లైంగిక సంబంధం కోసం ఆమెతో పండుకున్న వాడు తన తండ్రి గౌరవాన్ని భంగపరిచాడు. వారిద్దరికీ మరణశిక్ష విధించాలి. వారు తమ శిక్షకు తామే కారకులు.

12 'And a man who lieth with his daughter-in-law — both of them are certainly put to death; confusion they have made; their blood [is] on them.

౧౨ఒకడు తన కోడలితో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకుంటే వారిద్దరికీ మరణశిక్ష విధించాలి. వారు వరసలు తప్పారు. వారు దోషులు. మరణ శిక్షకు పాత్రులు.

13 'And a man who lieth with a male as one lieth with a woman; abomination both of them have done; they are certainly put to death; their blood [is] on them.

౧౩ఒకడు స్త్రీతో పెట్టుకున్నట్టు పురుషుడితో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకుంటే వారిద్దరూ అసహ్య కార్యం చేశారు గనక వారికి మరణశిక్ష విధించాలి. వారు దోషులు, మరణ శిక్షకు పాత్రులు.

14 'And a man who taketh the woman and her mother — it [is] wickedness; with fire they burn him and them, and there is no wickedness in your midst.

౧౪ఒకడు స్త్రీని పెళ్ళాడి ఆమె తల్లిని కూడా పెళ్లాడితే అది దుర్మార్గం. అతణ్ణి, ఆ స్త్రీలను సజీవ దహనం చెయ్యాలి. ఆ విధంగా మీ మధ్యనుండి దుర్మార్గత తొలిగిపోతుంది.

15 'And a man who giveth his lying with a beast is certainly put to death, and the beast ye do slay.

౧౫ఎవరైనా జంతువుతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకుంటే వాడికి తప్పక మరణ శిక్ష విధించాలి. ఆ జంతువును చంపాలి.

16 'And a woman who draweth near unto any beast to lie with it — thou hast even slain the woman and the beast; they are certainly put to death; their blood [is] on them.

౧౬జంతువుతో ఒక స్త్రీ లైంగికంగా కలవడం కోసం దాని దగ్గరికి పోతే ఆ స్త్రీని ఆ జంతువును చంపాలి. ఆమెకు దానికి తప్పక మరణ శిక్ష పడాలి. వారు దోషులు, మరణ శిక్షకు పాత్రులు.

17 'And a man who taketh his sister, a daughter of his father or daughter of his mother, and he hath seen her nakedness, and she seeth his nakedness: it is a shame; and they have been cut off before the eyes of the sons of their people; the nakedness of his sister he hath uncovered; his iniquity he beareth.

౧౭ఒకడు తన సోదరితో, అంటే తన తండ్రి కుమార్తెతో గానీ తన తల్లి కుమార్తెతో గానీ లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకుంటే అది సిగ్గుచేటు. తమ జాతి వారి సమక్షంలో వారిని ప్రజల్లో లేకుండా చెయ్యాలి. వాడు తన సోదరితో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నాడు. తన దోష శిక్షను తాను భరించాలి.

18 'And a man who lieth with a sick woman, and hath uncovered her nakedness, her fountain he hath made bare, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood, — even both of them have been cut off from the midst of their people.

౧౮ఒక స్త్రీ ఋతుస్రావం సమయంలో ఆమెతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకుంటే ఆమె రక్త స్రావాన్ని, రక్తధారను బట్టబయలు చేసాడు. ప్రజల్లో నుండి వారిద్దరినీ లేకుండా చేయాలి.

19 'And the nakedness of thy mother's sister, and of thy father's sister, thou dost not uncover; because his relation he hath made bare; their iniquity they bear.

౧౯నీ తల్లి సోదరితో గాని నీ తండ్రి సోదరితో గానీ లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకోకూడదు. ఎందుకంటే అలా చేస్తే నీవు నీ దగ్గర బంధువును హీన పరిచావు. నీ దోషశిక్షను భరించాలి.

20 'And a man who lieth with his aunt, the nakedness of his uncle he hath uncovered; their sin they bear; childless they die.

౨౦బాబాయి భార్యతో గానీ మేనమామ భార్యతో గానీ లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నవాడు తన దగ్గర బంధువును హీనపరిచాడు. వారు తమ పాపశిక్షను భరించాలి. వారు పిల్లలు లేకుండా చనిపోతారు.

21 'And a man who taketh his brother's wife — it [is] impurity; the nakedness of his brother he hath uncovered; childless they are.

౨౧ఒకడు తన సోదరుని భార్యను పెళ్లాడితే అది అశుద్ధం. ఎందుకంటే వాడు తన సోదరుని వివాహబంధాన్ని మీరాడు. వారు సంతాన హీనులుగా ఉంటారు.

22 'And ye have kept all My statutes, and all My judgments, and have done them, and the land vomiteth you not out whither I am bringing you in to dwell in it;

౨౨కాబట్టి మీరు నివసించాలని నేను ఏ దేశానికి మిమ్మల్ని తీసుకు పోతున్నానో ఆ దేశం మిమ్మల్ని కక్కివేయకుండేలా మీరు నా శాసనాలన్నిటిని, నా విధులన్నిటిని పాటించాలి.

23 and ye walk not in the statutes of the nation which I am sending away from before you, for all these they have done, and I am wearied with them;

౨౩నేను మీ ఎదుట నుండి వెళ్లగొడుతున్న జాతుల ఆచారాల ప్రకారం నడుచుకోకూడదు. వారు అలాటి క్రియలన్నీ చేశారు కాబట్టి నేను వారిని అసహ్యించుకున్నాను.

24 and I say to you, Ye — ye do possess their ground, and I — I give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey; I [am] Jehovah your God, who hath separated you from the peoples.

౨౪నేను మీతో చెప్పాను. మీరు వారి భూమిని వారసత్వంగా పొందుతారు. పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించే ఆ దేశాన్ని మీరు స్వాధీన పరచుకునేందుకై మీకిస్తాను. జాతుల్లో నుండి మిమ్మల్ని వేరు చేసిన మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నేనే.

25 'And ye have made separation between the pure beasts and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the pure, and ye do not make yourselves abominable by beast or by fowl, or by anything which creepeth [on] the ground which I have separated to you for unclean;

౨౫కాబట్టి మీరు శుద్ధ జంతువులకు, అశుద్ధ జంతువులకు, శుద్ధ పక్షులకు, అశుద్ధ పక్షులకు అంతరం తెలుసుకోవాలి. అశుద్ధమైనదని నేను మీకు వేరు చేసి చెప్పిన ఏ జంతువు మూలంగా గానీ ఏ పక్షి మూలంగా గానీ, నేల మీద పాకే దేని మూలంగా గానీ మిమ్మల్ని మీరు అపవిత్ర పరచుకోకూడదు.

26 and ye have been holy to Me; for holy [am] I, Jehovah; and I separate you from the peoples to become Mine.

౨౬మీరు నాకు పరిశుద్ధులై ఉండాలి. ఎందుకంటే యెహోవా అనే నేను పరిశుద్ధుడిని. మీరు నావారై ఉండేలా అన్య జనుల్లో నుండి మిమ్మల్ని వేరు చేశాను.

27 'And a man or woman — when there is in them a familiar spirit, or who [are] wizards — are certainly put to death; with stones they stone them; their blood [is] on them.'

౨౭పురుషుడుగానీ స్త్రీగానీ పూనకం వచ్చి చచ్చిన వారితో, ఆత్మలతో మాట్లాడే వాళ్ళు ఉంటే వారికి తప్పక మరణ శిక్ష విధించాలి. ప్రజలు వారిని రాళ్లతో కొట్టాలి. వారు దోషులు, మరణ పాత్రులు.”
