Leviticus 11
1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying unto them,
Und der HERR redete zu Mose und Aaron und sprach zu ihnen:
2 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, This [is] the beast which ye do eat out of all the beasts which [are] on the earth:
Redet mit den Kindern Israel und sprechet: Das sind die Tiere, die ihr von allem Vieh auf Erden essen dürft:
3 any dividing a hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoofs, bringing up the cud, among the beasts, it ye do eat.
Alle Vielhufer, die ganz gespaltene Klauen haben und wiederkäuen, dürft ihr essen.
4 'Only, this ye do not eat — of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof — the camel, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof not dividing — it [is] unclean to you;
Aber von den Wiederkäuern und Vielhufern sollt ihr die folgenden nicht essen: das Kamel; denn obschon es wiederkäut, hat es doch keine gespaltenen Klauen; darum soll es euch unrein sein.
5 and the rabbit, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof it divideth not — unclean it [is] to you;
Desgleichen der Klippdachs; denn obschon er wiederkäut, hat er doch keine gespaltenen Klauen; darum ist er euch unrein.
6 and the hare, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof hath not divided — unclean it [is] to you;
Auch der Hase, der zwar wiederkäut, aber er hat keine gespaltenen Klauen; darum ist er euch unrein.
7 and the sow, though it is dividing the hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoof, yet the cud it bringeth not up — unclean it [is] to you.
Ferner das Schwein; es ist zwar ein Vielhufer mit durchgespaltenen Klauen, aber kein Wiederkäuer; darum ist es euch unrein.
8 'Of their flesh ye do not eat, and against their carcase ye do not come — unclean they [are] to you.
Von ihrem Fleisch sollt ihr nicht essen, auch ihr Aas nicht anrühren, denn sie sind euch unrein.
9 'This ye do eat of all which [are] in the waters; any one that hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the brooks, them ye do eat;
Folgende [Tiere] dürft ihr essen von allem, was in den Wassern ist: Alles, was Flossen und Schuppen hat im Wasser, im Meer und in Bächen, dürft ihr essen.
10 and any one that hath not fins and scales in the seas, and in the brooks, of any teeming creature of the waters, and of any creature which liveth, which [is] in the waters — an abomination they [are] to you;
Aber alles, was keine Flossen und Schuppen hat, im Meer und in Bächen, unter allem [Getier], das sich in den Wassern regt, und von allem, was im Wasser lebt, das soll euch ein Greuel sein.
11 yea, an abomination they are to you; of their flesh ye do not eat, and their carcase ye abominate.
Ein Greuel sollen sie euch sein; von ihrem Fleisch sollt ihr nicht essen und vor ihrem Aas euch scheuen.
12 'Any one that hath not fins and scales in the waters — an abomination it [is] to you.
Alle Wassertiere, die keine Flossen und Schuppen haben, sollen euch ein Greuel sein.
13 'And these ye do abominate of the fowl; they are not eaten, an abomination they [are]: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
Von den Vögeln aber sollt ihr folgende verabscheuen; man soll sie nicht essen, weil sie ein Greuel sind: Den Adler, den Lämmergeier und den Seeadler,
14 and the vulture, and the kite after its kind,
die Weihe und das Falkengeschlecht,
15 every raven after its kind,
die ganze Rabenfamilie,
16 and the owl, and the night-hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after its kind,
den Strauß, die Eule, die Möwe und die Habichtarten;
17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
das Käuzchen, den Reiher, den Ibis,
18 and the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
das Purpurhuhn, den Pelikan, den Schwan,
19 and the stork, the heron after its kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
den Storch, die verschiedenen Strandläufer, den Wiedehopf und die Fledermaus.
20 'Every teeming creature which is flying, which is going on four — an abomination it [is] to you.
Jedes geflügelte Insekt, das auf vier Füßen geht, soll euch ein Greuel sein.
21 'Only — this ye do eat of any teeming thing which is flying, which is going on four, which hath legs above its feet, to move with them on the earth;
Doch dürft ihr von den geflügelten Insekten, welche auf vier Füßen gehen, diejenigen essen, welche oberhalb ihrer Füße zwei Schenkel haben, vermittelst deren sie über den Erdboden hüpfen können.
22 these of them ye do eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the beetle after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind;
Von diesen dürft ihr essen die verschiedenen Arten der Wanderheuschrecke, der Feldheuschrecke, der Laubheuschrecke und der Fangheuschrecke.
23 and every teeming thing which is flying, which hath four feet — an abomination it [is] to you.
Aber alle übrigen geflügelten Insekten mit vier Füßen sollen euch ein Greuel sein,
24 'And by these ye are made unclean, any one who is coming against their carcase is unclean till the evening;
und ihr würdet euch an ihnen verunreinigen; wer ihr Aas anrührt, der soll unrein sein bis zum Abend;
25 and anyone who is lifting up [aught] of their carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening: —
wer aber eines ihrer Aase aufhebt, der soll seine Kleider waschen und bleibt unrein bis zum Abend.
26 even every beast which is dividing the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, and the cud is not bringing up — unclean they [are] to you; any one who is coming against them is unclean.
Jeder Vielhufer, der nicht zugleich durchgespaltene Klauen hat und wiederkäut, soll euch unrein sein; wer ihn anrührt, wird unrein.
27 'And any one going on its paws, among all the beasts which are going on four — unclean they [are] to you; any one who is coming against their carcase is unclean until the evening;
Auch alles, was auf seinen Tatzen geht unter den Vierfüßlern, soll euch unrein sein; wer ihr Aas anrührt, wird unrein sein bis zum Abend;
28 and he who is lifting up their carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean until the evening — unclean they [are] to you.
und wer ihr Aas aufhebt, der soll seine Keider waschen und bleibt unrein bis zum Abend; unrein sollen sie euch sein.
29 'And this [is] to you the unclean among the teeming things which are teeming on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after its kind,
Auch diese sollen euch unrein sein von den [Tieren], die auf der Erde kriechen: Das Wiesel, die Maus, die verschiedenen Eidechsenarten;
30 and the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole;
der Mauergeko, der Dornschwanz, der Schleuderschwanz, der Salamander und das Chamäleon.
31 these [are] the unclean to you among all which are teeming; any one who is coming against them in their death is unclean till the evening.
Diese sollen euch unrein sein unter allem, was da kriecht; wer sie anrührt, wenn sie tot sind, bleibt unrein bis zum Abend.
32 'And anything on which any one of them falleth, in their death, is unclean, of any vessel of wood or garment or skin or sack, any vessel in which work is done is brought into water, and hath been unclean till the evening, then it hath been clean;
Auch wird alles unrein, worauf eins von diesen Tieren fällt, wenn es tot ist, sei es ein hölzernes Gefäß oder ein Kleid, ein Fell oder ein Sack; ein Gerät aber, damit man Arbeit verrichtet, soll man ins Wasser legen, und es soll unrein bleiben bis zum Abend; dann wird es rein.
33 and any earthen vessel, into the midst of which [any] one of them falleth, all that [is] in its midst is unclean, and it ye do break.
Fällt aber eines jener Tiere in ein irdenes Geschirr, so wird sein ganzer Inhalt unrein, und ihr müßt es zerbrechen.
34 'Of all the food which is eaten, that on which cometh [such] water, is unclean, and all drink which is drunk in any [such] vessel is unclean;
Kommt von dem Wasser an irgendeine Speise, die man essen will, so wird sie unrein, desgleichen jedes Getränk, das man aus einem solchen Gefäß trinken würde.
35 and anything on which [any] of their carcase falleth is unclean (oven or double pots), it is broken down, unclean they [are], yea, unclean they are to you.
Alles wird unrein, worauf ein solches Aas fällt; wäre es ein Backofen oder Kochherd, so müßte er eingerissen werden; denn er wäre unrein und müßte euch für unrein gelten.
36 'Only — a fountain or pit, a collection of water, is clean, but that which is coming against their carcase is unclean;
Nur ein Wassersammler, der von einer Quelle oder von einem Brunnen gespeist wird, bleibt rein; wer aber ein Aas anrührt, das hineinfällt, wird gleichwohl unrein.
37 and when [any] of their carcase falleth on any sown seed which is sown — it [is] clean;
Auch wenn von solchem Aas auf irgendwelche Sämereien fällt, die man aussäen will, so bleiben sie rein;
38 and when water is put on the seed, and [any] of its carcase hath fallen on it — unclean it [is] to you.
wäre aber Wasser auf den Samen gegossen worden, und es fiele von solchem Aas darauf, so müßte er euch für unrein gelten.
39 'And when any of the beasts which are to you for food dieth, he who is coming against its carcase is unclean till the evening;
Stirbt ein Stück Vieh, das man sonst zu essen pflegt, so wird, wer sein Aas anrührt, unrein sein bis zum Abend;
40 and he who is eating of its carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening; and he who is lifting up its carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening.
wer aber von seinem Aase ißt, der soll seine Kleider waschen und bleibt unrein bis zum Abend; auch wer sein Aas aufhebt, muß seine Kleider waschen und bleibt unrein bis zum Abend.
41 'And every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth is an abomination, it is not eaten;
Alles, was auf der Erde kriecht, soll euch ein Greuel sein und darf nicht gegessen werden.
42 any thing going on the belly, and any going on four, unto every multiplier of feet, to every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth — ye do not eat them, for they [are] an abomination;
Alles, was auf dem Bauche kriecht, samt allem, was auf vier und mehr Füßen geht von dem, was auf der Erde kriecht, das sollt ihr nicht essen, sondern es soll euch ein Greuel sein.
43 ye do not make yourselves abominable with any teeming thing which is teeming, nor do ye make yourselves unclean with them, so that ye have been unclean thereby.
Macht eure Seelen nicht verabscheuungswürdig durch irgendein kriechendes Tier und verunreinigt euch nicht an ihnen, daß ihr durch sie verunreinigt werdet!
44 'For I [am] Jehovah your God, and ye have sanctified yourselves, and ye have been holy, for I [am] holy; and ye do not defile your persons with any teeming thing which is creeping on the earth;
Denn ich, der HERR, bin euer Gott; darum sollt ihr euch heiligen und sollt heilig sein; denn ich bin heilig; und ihr sollt eure Seelen nicht verunreinigen mit allerlei Gewürm, das auf der Erde kriecht!
45 for I [am] Jehovah who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and ye have been holy, for I [am] holy.
Denn ich, der HERR, bin es, der euch aus Ägyptenland heraufgeführt hat, um euer Gott zu sein; darum sollt ihr heilig sein; denn ich bin heilig!
46 'This [is] a law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which is moving in the waters, and of every creature which is teeming on the earth,
Dies ist das Gesetz von Vieh und Vögeln und allen lebendigen Wesen, die sich im Wasser regen und von allem Lebendigen, was auf Erden kriecht,
47 to make separation between the unclean and the pure, and between the beast that is eaten, and the beast that is not eaten.'
damit man unterscheide zwischen unrein und rein, zwischen dem, was man essen, und dem, was man nicht essen soll.
