1 And these [are] kings of the land whom the sons of Israel have smitten, and possess their land, beyond the Jordan, at the sun-rising, from the brook Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain eastward.

Desse äro de Konungar i landena, som Israels barn slogo, och togo deras land in på hinsidon Jordan, österut: ifrån Arnons bäck intill Hermons berg, och hela marken österut:

2 Sihon, king of the Amorite, who is dwelling in Heshbon, ruling from Aroer which [is] on the border of the brook Arnon, and the middle of the brook, and half of Gilead, and unto Jabok the brook, the border of the Bene-Ammon;

Sihon, de Amoreers Konung, som bodde i Hesbon, och var rådandes ifrån Aroer, som på strandene ligger vid den bäcken vid Arnon, och midt i bäcken, och öfver halft Gilead, intill den bäcken Jabbok, der Ammons barnas landamäre är;

3 And the plain unto the sea of Chinneroth eastward, and unto the sea of the plain (the salt sea) eastward, the way to Beth-Jeshimoth, and from the south under the springs of Pisgah.

Och öfver den slättmarkena allt intill hafvet Cinneroth österut, och intill hafvet i slättmarkene, som är salthafvet österut, den vägen åt BethJesimoth; och ifrå sunnan neder utmed bäcken vid berget Pisga;

4 And the border of Og king of Bashan (of the remnant of the Rephaim), who is dwelling in Ashtaroth and in Edrei,

Dertill Ogs gränso, Konungens i Basan, den ännu af de Resar qvar blifven var, och bodde i Astaroth och Edrei,

5 and ruling in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurite, and the Maachathite, and the half of Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

Och var rådandes öfver berget Hermon, öfver Salcha, och öfver hela Basan, allt intill Gessuri och Maachathi gränsor, och i halfva Gilead, hvilket var Sihons gränsa, Konungens i Hesbon.

6 Moses, servant of Jehovah, and the sons of Israel have smitten them, and Moses, servant of Jehovah, giveth it — a possession to the Reubenite, and to the Gadite, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh.

Mose Herrans tjenare, och Israels barn slogo dem; och Mose Herrans tjenare gaf dem de Rubeniter, Gaditer, och den halfva slägtene Manasse till att intaga.

7 And these [are] kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel have smitten beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal-Gad, in the valley of Lebanon, and unto the mount of Halak, which is going up to Seir; and Joshua giveth it to the tribes of Israel — a possession according to their divisions;

Men desse äro de Konungar i landena, som Josua slog, och Israels barn, på denna sidone Jordan, vesterut, ifrå BaalGad på Libanons bergs slätt, intill det berget som åtskiljer landet uppåt emot Seir, och det Josua Israels slägter gaf till att intaga, hvarjom och enom sin del;

8 in the hill-country, and in the low country, and in the plain, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

Det som uppå bergen, dalomen, slättmarkene, vid bäcker, i öknene, och söderut var, de Hetheer, Amoreer, Cananeer, Phereseer, Heveer och Jebuseer:

9 The king of Jericho, one; The king of Ai, which [is] beside Bethel, one;

Konungen i Jericho, Konungen i Aj, som vid sidona ligger af BethEl;

10 The king of Jerusalem, one; The king of Hebron, one;

Konungen i Jerusalem, Konungen i Hebron;

11 The king of Jarmuth, one; The king of Lachish, one;

Konungen i Jarmuth, Konungen i Lachis;

12 The king of Eglon, one; The king of Gezer, one;

Konungen i Eglon, Konungen i Geser;

13 The king of Debir, one; The king of Geder, one;

Konungen i Debir, Konungen i Geder;

14 The king of Hormah, one; The king of Arad, one;
