John 17
1 These things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to the heaven, and said — 'Father, the hour hath come, glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee,
೧ಯೇಸು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಸಮಯ ಬಂದಿದೆ; ಮಗನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುವುದಕೊಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸು.
2 according as Thou didst give to him authority over all flesh, that — all that Thou hast given to him — he may give to them life age-during; (aiōnios g166)
೨ನೀನು ಯಾರಾರನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀಯೋಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ. (aiōnios g166)
3 and this is the life age-during, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send — Jesus Christ; (aiōnios g166)
೩ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಸತ್ಯ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದೇ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವು. (aiōnios g166)
4 I did glorify Thee on the earth, the work I did finish that Thou hast given me, that I may do [it].
೪ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಾನುನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
5 'And now, glorify me, Thou Father, with Thyself, with the glory that I had before the world was, with Thee;
೫ಈಗ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಲೋಕವು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗಿದ್ದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಂತೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸು.
6 I did manifest Thy name to the men whom Thou hast given to me out of the world; Thine they were, and to me Thou hast given them, and Thy word they have kept;
೬“ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇವರು ನಿನ್ನವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಇವರನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ. ಇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 now they have known that all things, as many as Thou hast given to me, are from Thee,
೭ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಈಗ ಇವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 because the sayings that Thou hast given to me, I have given to them, and they themselves received, and have known truly, that from Thee I came forth, and they did believe that Thou didst send me.
೮ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇವರು ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತುನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವನೆಂದು ಇವರು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು, ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
9 'I ask in regard to them; not in regard to the world do I ask, but in regard to those whom Thou hast given to me, because Thine they are,
೯ನಾನು ಇವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಇವರು ನಿನ್ನವರು.
10 and all mine are Thine, and Thine [are] mine, and I have been glorified in them;
೧೦ನನ್ನದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿನ್ನದೇ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನನ್ನದೇ. ನಾನು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
11 and no more am I in the world, and these are in the world, and I come unto Thee. Holy Father, keep them in Thy name, whom Thou hast given to me, that they may be one as we;
೧೧ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇವರಾದರೋ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾದ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನಾವು ಒಂದಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವರೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು.
12 when I was with them in the world, I was keeping them in Thy name; those whom Thou hast given to me I did guard, and none of them was destroyed, except the son of the destruction, that the Writing may be fulfilled.
೧೨ನಾನು ಇವರ ಜೊತೆ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದೆನು. ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ನಾಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನೇ ಹೊರತು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
13 'And now unto Thee I come, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves;
೧೩“ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದನನ್ನ ಆನಂದವು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಿದೇನೆ.
14 I have given to them Thy word, and the world did hate them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world;
೧೪ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನಾನು ಈ ಲೋಕದವನಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವರೂ ಈ ಲೋಕದವರಲ್ಲ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಲೋಕವು ಇವರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
15 I do not ask that Thou mayest take them out of the world, but that Thou mayest keep them out of the evil.
೧೫ಇವರನ್ನು ಲೋಕದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಕೆಡುಕನಿಂದ ಕಾಪಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
16 'Of the world they are not, as I of the world am not;
೧೬ನಾನು ಲೋಕದವನಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಇವರೂ ಲೋಕದವರಲ್ಲ.
17 sanctify them in Thy truth, Thy word is truth;
೧೭ನೀನು ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಪಡಿಸು, ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವೇ ಸತ್ಯ.
18 as Thou didst send me to the world, I also did send them to the world;
೧೮ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ, ನಾನು ಸಹ ಇವರನ್ನು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
19 and for them do I sanctify myself, that they also themselves may be sanctified in truth.
೧೯ಇವರು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ಇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
20 'And not in regard to these alone do I ask, but also in regard to those who shall be believing, through their word, in me;
೨೦“ಆದರೆ ಇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
21 that they all may be one, as Thou Father [art] in me, and I in Thee; that they also in us may be one, that the world may believe that Thou didst send me.
೨೧ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇಅವರು ಸಹ ಒಂದಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ಲೋಕವು ನಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
22 'And I, the glory that thou hast given to me, have given to them, that they may be one as we are one;
೨೨ನಾವು ಒಂದಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇವರೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
23 I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, and that the world may know that Thou didst send me, and didst love them as Thou didst love me.
೨೩ನಾನು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಇವರೂ ಐಕ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣರಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ, ಎಂದೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಇವರನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಲೋಕವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
24 'Father, those whom Thou hast given to me, I will that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory that Thou didst give to me, because Thou didst love me before the foundation of the world.
೨೪ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು, ನಾನಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು, ಜಗದುತ್ಪತ್ತಿಗೂ ಮೊದಲೇ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಇವರು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು, ನಾನು ಆಶಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
25 'Righteous Father, also the world did not know Thee, and I knew Thee, and these have known that Thou didst send me,
೨೫ನೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಲೋಕವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇವರು ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
26 and I made known to them Thy name, and will make known, that the love with which Thou lovedst me in them may be, and I in them.'
೨೬ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದಂಥ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದನು.
