< Joel 1 >
1 A word of Jehovah that hath been unto Joel, son of Pethuel:
Goe sia: dedei amo da Hina Gode Ea Youelema olelei amo dedei. Youele da Bidiuele ea mano.
2 Hear this, ye aged ones, And give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land, Hath this been in your days? Or in the days of your fathers?

3 Concerning it to your sons talk ye, And your sons to their sons, And their sons to another generation.
Dilia manoma amo sia: olelema. Amola ilia da ilia manoma olelemu, amalu ilia da ilia mano fisa mabe ilima olelemu.
4 What is left of the palmer-worm, eaten hath the locust, And what is left of the locust, Eaten hath the cankerworm, And what is left of the cankerworm, Eaten hath the caterpillar.
Danuba: gilisi agoane misini, ha: i manu sagai amo ea lubi na dagoi amola goe danuba: ilia fisili ahoasea, bu danuba: eno maha amola, ilia da ha: i manu sagai lubi amo na ebelesa.
5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep, And howl all drinking wine, because of the juice, For it hath been cut off from your mouth.
Gola midi dilia wa: legadole didigia: ma, Waini hano nawane feloai dunu dilia amola dima. Waini efe fage amo da gaheabolo waini hano hamoma: ne ilegei Da gugunufinisi dagoi.
6 For a nation hath come up on my land, Strong, and there is no number, Its teeth [are] the teeth of a lion, And it hath the jaw-teeth of a lioness.
Danuba: ilia da gegesu dunu wa: i bagade agoai, ilia da ninia soge amoma gegemusa: ahoa. Ilia da gasa bagade amola ili idimu da hamedeidafa. Ilia bese da laione wa: me ea bese sosoa: i amola mei agoai diala.
7 It hath made my vine become a desolation, And my fig-tree become a chip, It hath made it thoroughly bare, and hath cast down, Made white have been its branches.
Ilia da ninia waini fage legesu efe amo wadela: lesi amola figi dulu amo na ebelei. Ilia da ifa gadofo sosoga: i dagoi amola amoda da soa: ya: i agoane afadenei.
8 Wail, as a virgin girdeth with sackcloth, For the husband of her youth.
Dunu fi dilia huluane didigia: ma, dilia musa: uda a: fini laloba didigia: su amo dunu bogoloba didigia: su agoane.
9 Cut off hath been present and libation from the house of Jehovah, Mourned have the priests, ministrants of Jehovah.
Debolo diasu ganodini ilia gagoma amola waini da Hina Godema imunu da hamedafa. Gobele Salasu dunu ilia da bagade da: i dioi. Abuliba: le? Bai gobele salasu liligi Hina Godema imunu da hame gala.
10 Spoiled is the field, mourned hath the ground, For spoiled is the corn, Dried up hath been new wine, languish doth oil.
Ifabi ganodini da ha: i manu afaedafa da hame ba: sa. Amola osobo da wadela: lesi dagoi amola waini efe da huluane biogia: i ba: i, amola olife ifa huluane da biole wadela: lesi dagoi.
11 Be ashamed, ye husbandmen, Howl, vine-dressers, for wheat and for barley, For perished hath the harvest of the field.
Ifabi ouligisu dunu! Dilia waini sagai ganodini hawa: hamosu dunu! Dilia figi sagai ganodini hawa: hamosu dunu huluane! Dilia huluane bagade asigili didigia: ma. Bai widi amola bali amola ha: i manu bugi huluanedafa da wadela: lesi dagoi.
12 The vine hath been dried up, And the fig-tree doth languish, Pomegranate, also palm, and apple-tree, All trees of the field have withered, For dried up hath been joy from the sons of men.
Ha: i manu ida: iwane legesu ifa, figi amola waini efe huluane da biogia: i, amaiba: le dunu fi ilia da da: i dioi bagade ba: sa.
13 Gird, and lament, ye priests, Howl, ye ministrants of the altar, Come in, lodge in sackcloth, ministrants of my God, For withheld from the house of your God hath been present and libation.
Gobele Salasu dunu dilia da oloda amoga hawa: hamonana! Dilia abula gisa: le amola wadela: i eboboi abula salawane dini ima. Gasi ganodini dilia Debolo diasu ganodini didigia: sa esala hadigima. Bai gala: ine amola waini hano Godema ima: ne da hame gala.
14 Sanctify a fast, proclaim a restraint, Gather the elders — all the inhabitants of the land, [Into] the house of Jehovah your God,
Dilia dunu fi ilima ha: i hame nasu hou hamoma: ne sia: ma amola dunu huluanema gilisimusa: sia: ma. Ouligisu dunu huluane amola Yuda fi dunu ilia huluane Debolo diasu ganodini gagadoma. Amasea, Hina Godema wele sia: ma!
15 And cry unto Jehovah, 'Alas for the day! For near [is] a day of Jehovah, And as destruction from the mighty it cometh.
Hina Gode Ea Eso da gadeneidafa. Amo esoga Hina Gode Gasa Bagadedafa, se bagade gaguli misunu, amola beda: i bagadewane ba: mu.
16 Is not before our eyes food cut off? From the house of our God joy and rejoicing?
Ninia ba: loba da ha: i manu huluane da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu, amola Godema hahawane gilisisu hou Debolo ganodini da hamedafa gala.
17 Rotted have scattered things under their clods, Desolated have been storehouses, Broken down have been granaries, For withered hath the corn.
Fage amo osobo hafoga: i ganodini amo da dasagia: i. Amola fage da afae agoane hamedafa amola hawa: legesu diasu ganodini da hamedafa gala. Gala: ine ha: i manu legesu diasu da hagia: i diala amola huluane dasagia: i dagoi.
18 How have cattle sighed! Perplexed have been droves of oxen, For there is no pasture for them, Also droves of sheep have been desolated.
Bulamagau ea ha: i nasu gisi da hamedafa amola ili da ha: giwane ga: ea gusa: sa. Amola sibi ilia da ha: i manu hameba: le, ilia da: i da geloga: gia: iba: le se naba.
19 Unto Thee, O Jehovah, I do call, For fire hath consumed comely places of a wilderness, And a flame hath set on fire all trees of the field.
Hina Gode, na Dima dini iawane, Dima sia: ne gadosa! Bai ha: i manu da huluane biogia: i dagoi. Amola ifa amola gisi amola ha: i manu huluane da laluga nei agoai ba: sa.
20 Also the cattle of the field long for Thee, For dried up have been streams of water, And fire hath consumed comely places of a wilderness!'
Amolawane, ohe fi ilia da ha: ga Dima dini iaha. Bai hano huluane da hale dagoi.
