Joel 3
1 For lo, in those days, and in that time, When I turn back [to] the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
૧જુઓ, તે દિવસોમાં એટલે કે તે સમયે, જ્યારે હું યહૂદિયા અને યરુશાલેમની ગુલામગીરી ફેરવી નાખીશ,
2 Then I have gathered all the nations, And caused them to go down unto the valley of Jehoshaphat, And I have been judged with them there, Concerning My people and Mine inheritance — Israel, Whom they scattered among nations, And My land they have apportioned.
૨ત્યારે હું બધી પ્રજાઓને એકત્ર કરીશ, અને તેઓને યહોશાફાટની ખીણમાં નીચે લઈ આવીશ. કેમ કે મારા લોક, એટલે મારો વારસો ઇઝરાયલ, જેઓને તેઓએ વિવિધ દેશોમાં વિખેરી નાખ્યા, અને મારી ભૂમિ વિભાજિત કરી નાખી છે તેને લીધે, હું તેઓનો ત્યાં ન્યાય કરીશ.
3 And for My people they do cast a lot, And they give the young man for an harlot, And the young woman have sold for wine, That they may drink.
૩તેઓએ ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખી મારા લોકોને વહેંચી લીધા છે, છોકરાઓ આપીને તેઓએ ગણિકાઓ લીધી છે, અને મદ્યપાન કરવા તેઓએ છોકરીઓ વેચી છે. જેથી તેઓ મદ્યપાન કરી શકે.
4 And also, what [are] ye to Me, O Tyre and Zidon, And all circuits of Philistia? Recompence are ye rendering unto Me? And if ye are giving recompence to Me, Swiftly, hastily, I turn back your recompence on your head.
૪હે તૂર, સિદોન તથા પલિસ્તીના બધા પ્રાંતો, તમે મારા પર શાથી ગુસ્સે થયા છો? તમારે અને મારે શું છે? શું તમે મારા પર વેર વાળશો? જો તમે મારા પર વેર વાળશો તો, બહુ ઝડપથી હું તમારું જ વૈર તમારા માથા પર પાછું વાળીશ.
5 In that My silver and My gold ye took, And My desirable things that are good, Ye have brought in to your temples.
૫તમે મારા સોના અને ચાંદી લઈ લીધાં છે, તથા મારી સર્વ કિંમતી વસ્તુઓ તમારા સભાસ્થાનોમાં લઈ ગયા છો.
6 And sons of Judah, and sons of Jerusalem, Ye have sold to the sons of Javan, To put them far off from their border.
૬વળી તમે યહૂદિયાના વંશજોને અને યરુશાલેમના લોકોને, ગ્રીકોને વેચી દીધા છે, જેથી તમે તેઓને પોતાના વતનમાંથી દૂર કરી શકો.
7 Lo, I am stirring them up out of the place Whither ye have sold them, And I have turned back your recompence on your head,
૭જુઓ, જ્યાં તમે તેઓને વેચ્યાં છે ત્યાંથી હું તેમને છોડાવી લાવીશ. અને તમારું વૈર તમારા જ માથા પર પાછું વાળીશ.
8 And have sold your sons and your daughters Into the hand of the sons of Judah, And they have sold them to Shabeans, Unto a nation far off, for Jehovah hath spoken.
૮હું તમારા દીકરાઓને અને દીકરીઓને, યહૂદિયાના લોકોના હાથમાં આપીશ. તેઓ તેમને શેબાના લોકોને એટલે ઘણે દૂર દેશના લોકોને વેચી દેશે, કેમ કે યહોવાહ એ બોલ્યા છે.
9 Proclaim ye this among nations, Sanctify a war, stir up the mighty ones, Come nigh, come up, let all the men of war.
૯તમે વિદેશી પ્રજાઓમાં આ જાહેર કરો; યુદ્ધની તૈયારી કરો. શ્રેષ્ઠ યોદ્ધાઓને જાગૃત કરો, તેઓને પાસે આવવા દો, સર્વ લડવૈયાઓ કૂચ કરો.
10 Beat your ploughshares to swords, And your pruning-hooks to javelins, Let the weak say, 'I [am] mighty.'
૧૦તમારા હળની કોશોને ટીપીને તેમાંથી તલવારો બનાવો અને તમારાં દાંતરડાંઓના ભાલા બનાવો. દુર્બળ માણસો કહે કે હું બળવાન છું.
11 Haste, and come in, all ye nations round, And be gathered together, Thither cause to come down, O Jehovah, Thy mighty ones.
૧૧હે આજુબાજુની સર્વ પ્રજાઓ, જલદી આવો, એકત્ર થાઓ’ હે યહોવાહ, તમારા યોદ્ધાઓને ત્યાં ઉતારી લાવો.
12 Wake and come up let the nations unto the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I sit to judge all the nations around.
૧૨“પ્રજાઓ ઊઠો. અને યહોશાફાટની ખીણમાં આવો. કેમ કે આસપાસની સર્વ પ્રજાઓનો, ન્યાય કરવા માટે હું ત્યાં બેસીશ.
13 Send ye forth a sickle, For ripened hath harvest, Come in, come down, for filled hath been the press, Overflowed hath wine-presses, For great [is] their wickedness.
૧૩તમે દાતરડા ચલાવો, કેમ કે કાપણીનો સમય આવ્યો છે. આવો, દ્રાક્ષાઓને ખૂંદો, દ્રાક્ષચક્કી ભરાઈ ગઈ છે, દ્રાક્ષકુંડો ઉભરાઈ જાય છે, કેમ કે તેમની દુષ્ટતા મોટી છે.”
14 Multitudes, multitudes [are] in the valley of decision, For near [is] the day of Jehovah in the valley of decision.
૧૪ન્યાયચુકાદાની ખીણમાં લોકોના ટોળેટોળાં મોટો જનસમુદાય છે કેમ કે ન્યાયચુકાદાની ખીણમાં યહોવાહનો દિવસ પાસે છે.
15 Sun and moon have been black, And stars have gathered up their shining.
૧૫સૂર્ય અને ચંદ્ર અંધારાય છે, અને તારાઓનો પ્રકાશ ઝાંખો પડ્યો છે.
16 And Jehovah from Zion doth roar, And from Jerusalem giveth forth His voice, And shaken have the heavens and earth, And Jehovah [is] a refuge to his people, And a stronghold to sons of Israel.
૧૬યહોવાહ સિયોનમાંથી ગર્જના કરશે, અને યરુશાલેમમાંથી પોકાર કરશે, પૃથ્વી અને આકાશ કાંપશે, પણ યહોવાહ તેમના લોકો માટે આશ્રયસ્થાન થશે, તેઓ ઇઝરાયલ લોકો માટે કિલ્લો થશે.
17 And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah your God, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain, And Jerusalem hath been holy, And strangers do not pass over into it again.
૧૭તેથી તમે જાણશો કે મારા પવિત્ર પર્વત સિયોન ઉપર રહેનાર હું યહોવાહ તમારો ઈશ્વર છું. પછી યરુશાલેમ પવિત્ર બનશે, અને પરદેશીઓ તેના પર ફરી આક્રમણ કરશે નહિ.
18 And it hath come to pass, in that day, Drop down do the mountains juice, And the hills do flow [with] milk, And all streams of Judah do go [with] water, And a fountain from the house of Jehovah goeth forth, And hath watered the valley of Shittim.
૧૮તે દિવસે એમ થશે કે, પર્વતોમાંથી મીઠો દ્રાક્ષારસ ટપકશે, અને ડુંગરોમાંથી દૂધ વહેશે, યહૂદિયાની સુકાઈ ગયેલી ધારાઓ પાણીથી ભરપૂર થશે. શિટ્ટીમની ખીણને પાણી પહોંચાડવા, યહોવાહના પવિત્રસ્થાનમાંથી ઝરો નીકળશે.
19 Egypt a desolation becometh, And Edom a desolation, a wilderness, becometh, For violence [to] sons of Judah, Whose innocent blood they shed in their land.
૧૯મિસર વેરાન થઈ જશે, અને અદોમ ઉજ્જડ બનશે, કેમ કે આ લોકોએ યહૂદાના વંશજો પર ઉત્પાત ગુજાર્યો હતો, તેઓએ પોતાના દેશમાં નિર્દોષ લોહી વહેવડાવ્યું છે.
20 And Judah to the age doth dwell, And Jerusalem to generation and generation.
૨૦પણ યહૂદિયા સદાકાળ માટે, અને યરુશાલેમ પેઢી દર પેઢી માટે ટકી રહેશે.
21 And I have declared their blood innocent, [That] I did not declare innocent, And Jehovah is dwelling in Zion!
૨૧તેઓનું લોહી કે જેને મેં નિર્દોષ ગણ્યું નથી તેને હું નિર્દોષ ગણીશ,” કેમ કે યહોવાહ સિયોનમાં રહે છે.
