< Job 40 >
1 And Jehovah doth answer Job, and saith: —
Ubangiji ya ce wa Ayuba,
2 Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
“Mai neman sa wa wani laifi zai iya ja da Maɗaukaki? Bari mai tuhumar Allah yă amsa masa.”
3 And Job answereth Jehovah, and saith: —
Sai Ayuba ya amsa wa Ubangiji,
4 Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.
“Ai, ni ba a bakin kome nake ba ne, ta yaya zan iya amsa maka? Na rufe bakina da hannuna.
5 Once I have spoken, and I answer not, And twice, and I add not.
Na yi magana sau ɗaya amma ba ni da amsa, sau biyu, amma ba zan ƙara cewa kome ba.”
6 And Jehovah answereth Job out of the whirlwind, and saith: —
Sa’an nan Ubangiji ya yi wa Ayuba magana ta cikin guguwa,
7 Gird, I pray thee, as a man, thy loins, I ask thee, and cause thou Me to know.
“Ka tashi tsaye ka tsaya da ƙarfi kamar namiji; zan yi maka tambaya kuma za ka amsa mini.
8 Dost thou also make void My judgment? Dost thou condemn Me, That thou mayest be righteous?
“Ko za ka ƙi yarda da shari’ata? Za ka ba ni laifi don ka nuna kai marar laifi ne?
9 And an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?
