< Job 28 >
1 Surely there is for silver a source, And a place for the gold they refine;
Ezali na esika oyo batimolaka palata, mpe na esika oyo bapetolaka wolo.
2 Iron from the dust is taken, And [from] the firm stone brass.
Ebende ewutaka na mabele, mpe libanga oyo balekisaka na moto epesaka motako.
3 An end hath he set to darkness, And to all perfection he is searching, A stone of darkness and death-shade.
Moto asilisaka molili, alukaka kino na se, na bisika ya se penza, libanga kati na molili oyo eleki makasi,
4 A stream hath broken out from a sojourner, Those forgotten of the foot, They were low, from man they wandered.
atimolaka libulu mosika ya esika oyo bato bavandaka, na bisika oyo makolo ya bato ekomaka te, mosika penza na bato, adiembelaka mosika ya bato nyonso.
5 The earth! from it cometh forth bread, And its under-part is turned like fire.
Mabele epai wapi bilei ewutaka ebongwani na se na yango lokola nde moto ezikisi yango.
6 A place of the sapphire [are] its stones, And it hath dust of gold.
Mabanga ya safiri ewutaka na mabanga makasi ya mabele, mpe putulu ya wolo ezalaka kati na mabele.
7 A path — not known it hath a ravenous fowl, Nor scorched it hath an eye of the kite,
Ndeke moko te oyo eliaka misuni eyebi nzela na yango, miso ya mpongo moko te emoni yango,
8 Nor trodden it have the sons of pride, Not passed over it hath the fierce lion.
nyama ya zamba etia nanu makolo na yango kuna te, mpe nkosi etambola nanu kuna te.
9 Against the flint he sent forth his hand, He overturned from the root mountains.
Moto abetaka loboko na ye na likolo ya libanga ya makasi mpe apikolaka ngomba longwa na misisa,
10 Among rocks, brooks he hath cleaved, And every precious thing hath his eye seen.
atimolaka nzela kati na mabanga, mpe miso na ye emonaka bomengo na yango nyonso,
11 From overflowing floods he hath bound, And the hidden thing bringeth out [to] light.
akawusaka mayi ya bibale mpe abimisaka na pole biloko oyo ebombama.
12 And the wisdom — whence is it found? And where [is] this, the place of understanding?
Kasi bakoki komona bwanya wapi? Mayele evandaka wapi?
13 Man hath not known its arrangement, Nor is it found in the land of the living.
Moto ayebaka motuya na yango te, pamba te bakoki komona yango te kati na mokili ya bato ya bomoi.
14 The deep hath said, 'It [is] not in me,' And the sea hath said, 'It is not with me.'
Libulu ya mozindo elobi: « Ezali kati na ngai te; » mpe ebale monene elobi: « Ezali epai na ngai te. »
15 Gold is not given for it, Nor is silver weighed — its price.
Bakoki kosomba yango te na motuya ya libanga ya wolo to na bakilo ya palata;
16 It is not valued with pure gold of Ophir, With precious onyx and sapphire,
bakoki te kosomba yango na wolo ya Ofiri to na mabanga ya talo ya Onikisi to mabanga ya talo ya Safiri;
17 Not equal it do gold and crystal, Nor [is] its exchange a vessel of fine gold.
wolo to diama ekoki te kokokana na yango, bakoki kozwa yango te na motuya ya sani ya wolo ya kitoko.
18 Corals and pearl are not remembered, The acquisition of wisdom [is] above rubies.
Mayaka ya Karayi mpe ya Jasipe ezali na motuya te liboso na yango. Motuya ya bwanya eleki pawuni ya talo.
19 Not equal it doth the topaz of Cush, With pure gold it is not valued.
Topaze ya Kushi ekoki kokokana na yango te, mpe bakoki te kosomba yango ata na wolo ya peto.
20 And the wisdom — whence doth it come? And where [is] this, the place of understanding?
Boye, bwanya ewutaka wapi? Mayele evandaka wapi?
21 It hath been hid from the eyes of all living. And from the fowl of the heavens It hath been hidden.
Ebombami mosika na miso ya bato nyonso ya bomoi, ebombami mpe mosika na miso ya bandeke ya likolo.
22 Destruction and death have said: 'With our ears we have heard its fame.'
Libebi mpe kufa elobi: « Kaka sango na yango nde ekomaki na matoyi na biso. »
23 God hath understood its way, And He hath known its place.
Nzambe kaka nde ayebi nzela na yango, Ye nde kaka ayebi esika bwanya evandaka.
24 For He to the ends of the earth doth look, Under the whole heavens He doth see,
Pamba te miso na Ye emonaka kino na suka ya mokili, mpe amonaka nyonso oyo ezali na se ya Lola.
25 To make for the wind a weight, And the waters He meted out in measure.
Tango apesaki makasi na mopepe mpe atiaki mondelo na mayi,
26 In His making for the rain a limit, And a way for the brightness of the voices,
tango atiaki mobeko mpo na mvula mpe afungolaki nzela mpo na kake mpe mikalikali,
27 Then He hath seen and declareth it, He hath prepared it, and also searched it out,
amonaki bwanya mpe akumisaki yango, andimaki yango mpe amekaki yango.
28 And He saith to man: — 'Lo, fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom, And to turn from evil [is] understanding.'
Bongo alobaki na moto: « Kotosa Nkolo, yango nde bwanya! Koboya mabe, yango nde mayele! »
