Job 17
1 My spirit hath been destroyed, My days extinguished — graves [are] for me.
ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଉଅଛି ଓ ମୋହର ଦିନ ଅବସାନ ହେଉଅଛି, ମୋʼ ନିମନ୍ତେ କବର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଅଛି।
2 If not — mockeries [are] with me. And in their provocations mine eye lodgeth.
ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ପରିହାସକମାନେ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧ ମୋʼ ଚକ୍ଷୁଗୋଚରରେ ଅଛି।
3 Place, I pray Thee, my pledge with Thee; Who is he that striketh hand with me?
ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଦିଅ, ଆପଣା ନିକଟରେ ଆପେ ମୋʼ ପାଇଁ ଲଗା ହୁଏ; ଆଉ କିଏ ମୋʼ ହାତରେ ହାତ ଦେବ?
4 For their heart Thou hast hidden From understanding, Therefore Thou dost not exalt them.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣକୁ ବୁଦ୍ଧିରୁ ଗୁପ୍ତ କରିଅଛ; ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
5 For a portion he sheweth friendship, And the eyes of his sons are consumed.
ଯେ ଆପଣା ମିତ୍ରଗଣକୁ ଲୁଟ ରୂପେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରେ, ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେବ।
6 And he set me up for a proverb of the peoples, And a wonder before them I am.
ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ମୋତେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ହାସ୍ୟାସ୍ପଦ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ମୁଁ ପ୍ରକାଶରେ ଘୃଣାପାତ୍ର ହୋଇଅଛି।
7 And dim from sorrow is mine eye, And my members as a shadow all of them.
ଦୁଃଖ ସକାଶୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋର ଚକ୍ଷୁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ମୋହର ସର୍ବାଙ୍ଗ ଛାୟା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛି।
8 Astonished are the upright at this, And the innocent against the profane Stirreth himself up.
ସରଳ ଲୋକେ ଏଥିରେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେବେ ଓ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ଲୋକ ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କରିବ।
9 And the righteous layeth hold [on] his way, And the clean of hands addeth strength, And — dumb are they all.
ତଥାପି ଧାର୍ମିକ ଆପଣା ମାର୍ଗ ଦୃଢ଼ କରି ଧରିବ ଓ ଶୁଚିହସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଆହୁରି ଆହୁରି ବଳବାନ ହେବ।
10 Return, and come in, I pray you, And I find not among you a wise man.
ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏବେ ଫେରି ଆସ; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ ଲୋକ ପାଇବି ନାହିଁ।
11 My days have passed by, My devices have been broken off, The possessions of my heart!
ମୋହର ବଞ୍ଚିବାର ଦିନସବୁ ଅତୀତ ହେଲା, ମୋହର ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ମୋର ମନର ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ହେଲା।
12 Night for day they appoint, Light [is] near because of darkness.
ସେମାନେ ରାତ୍ରିକୁ ଦିନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଆଲୁଅକୁ ଅନ୍ଧକାରର ସନ୍ନିକଟ ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି।
ଯଦି ମୁଁ ପାତାଳକୁ ଆପଣାର ଗୃହ ବୋଲି ଅନାଏ; ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଆପଣା ଶଯ୍ୟା ବିଛାଇଅଛି; (Sheol h7585)
14 To corruption I have called: — 'Thou [art] my father.' 'My mother' and 'my sister' — to the worm.
ଯଦି ମୁଁ କ୍ଷୟକୁ କହିଅଛି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପିତା;’ କୀଟକୁ କହିଅଛି, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ମାତା’ ଓ ‘ଭଗିନୀ;’
15 And where [is] now my hope? Yea, my hope, who doth behold it?
ତେବେ ମୋହର ଭରସା କାହିଁ? ଓ ମୋହର ଭରସା କିଏ ଦେଖିବ?
