Jeremiah 32

1 The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah — it [is] the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar,

യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ പത്താം ആണ്ടിൽ, നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ പതിനെട്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ തന്നേ, യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു.

2 And then the forces of the king of Babylon are laying siege against Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet hath been shut up in the court of the prison that [is] in the house of the king of Judah,

അന്നു ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യം യെരൂശലേമിനെ നിരോധിച്ചിരുന്നു; യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകനോ യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയുടെ കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

3 Where Zedekiah king of Judah hath shut him up, saying, 'Wherefore art thou prophesying, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he hath captured it;

ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനെ പിടിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നും

4 And Zedekiah king of Judah doth not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but is certainly given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and his mouth hath spoken with his mouth, and his eyes see his eyes,

യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവു കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ, ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടും; അവൻ ഇവനുമായി വായോടുവായ് സംസാരിക്കയും കണ്ണോടുകണ്ണു കാണുകയും ചെയ്യും;

5 And [to] Babylon he leadeth Zedekiah, and there he is till My inspecting him, — an affirmation of Jehovah — because ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye do not prosper.'

അവൻ സിദെക്കീയാവെ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ഞാൻ അവനെ സന്ദർശിക്കുംവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ കല്ദയരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്താലും നിങ്ങൾക്കു സാദ്ധ്യം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നും നീ പ്രവചിപ്പാൻ എന്തു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവു അവനെ അവിടെ അടെച്ചിരുന്നു.

6 And Jeremiah saith, 'A word of Jehovah hath been unto me saying,

യിരെമ്യാവു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

7 Lo, Hanameel son of Shallum, thine uncle, is coming unto thee, saying, Buy for thee my field that [is] in Anathoth, for thine [is] the right of redemption — to buy.

നിന്റെ ഇളയപ്പനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ മകൻ ഹനമെയേൽ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: അനാഥോത്തിലെ എന്റെ നിലം മേടിച്ചുകൊൾക; അതു മേടിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്റെ അവകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ എന്നു പറയും.

8 And Hanameel, my uncle's son, cometh in unto me, according to the word of Jehovah, unto the court of the prison, and saith unto me, 'Buy, I pray thee, my field that [is] in Anathoth, that [is] in the land of Benjamin, for thine [is] the right of possession, and thine of redemption — buy for thee.' And I know that it [is] the word of Jehovah,

യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ എന്റെ ഇളയപ്പന്റെ മകൻ ഹനമെയേൽ കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ബെന്യാമീൻദേശത്തു അനാഥോത്തിലെ എന്റെ നിലം മേടിക്കേണമേ; അവകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ, വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും നിനക്കുള്ളതു; നീ അതു മേടിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു; അതു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു ഞാൻ ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

9 And I buy the field, that [is] in Anathoth, from Hanameel, my uncle's son, and I weigh to him the money — seventeen shekels of silver.

അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഇളയപ്പന്റെ മകൻ ഹനമെയേലിനോടു അനാഥോത്തിലെ നിലം മേടിച്ചു, വില പതിനേഴു ശേക്കെൽ വെള്ളി തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

10 And I write in a book, and seal, and cause witnesses to testify, and weigh the silver in balances;

ആധാരം എഴുതി മുദ്രയിട്ടു സാക്ഷികളെക്കൊണ്ടു ഒപ്പിടുവിച്ച ശേഷം ഞാൻ പണം അവന്നു തുലാസിൽ തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

11 And I take the purchase-book, the sealed one, according to law and custom, and the open one.

ഇങ്ങനെ ന്യായവും പതിവും അനുസരിച്ചു മുദ്രയിട്ടിരുന്നതും തുറന്നിരുന്നതുമായ ആധാരങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വാങ്ങി,

12 And I give the purchase-book unto Baruch son of Neriah, son of Maaseiah, before the eyes of Hanameel, my uncle's son, and before the eyes of the witnesses, those writing in the purchase-book, before the eyes of all the Jews who are sitting in the court of the prison.

ഇളയപ്പന്റെ മകനായ ഹനമെയേലും ആധാരത്തിൽ ഒപ്പിട്ടിരുന്ന സാക്ഷികളും കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു ഇരുന്നിരുന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാരൊക്കെയും കാൺകെ ആധാരം മഹസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ നേര്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ബാരൂക്കിന്റെ പക്കൽ കൊടുത്തു.

13 And I charge Baruch before their eyes, saying,

അവർ കേൾക്കെ ഞാൻ ബാരൂക്കിനോടു കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

14 'Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Take these books, this purchase-book, both the sealed one and the open one, and thou hast put them in an earthen vessel, that they may remain many days;

യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഈ ആധാരങ്ങളെ മേടിച്ചു അവ ഏറിയകാലം നില്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരു മൺപാത്രത്തിൽ വെക്കുക.

15 For thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Again are houses and fields and vineyards bought in this land.'

ഇനിയും ഈ ദേശത്തു വീടുകളും നിലങ്ങളും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളും ക്രയവിക്രയം ചെയ്യും എന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

16 And I pray unto Jehovah — after my giving the purchase-book unto Baruch son of Neriah — saying,

അങ്ങനെ ആധാരം നേര്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ബാരൂക്കിന്റെ പക്കൽ ഏല്പിച്ചശേഷം, ഞാൻ യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

17 'Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power, and by Thy stretched-out arm; there is nothing too wonderful for Thee:

അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ മഹാശക്തികൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജം കൊണ്ടും നീ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; നിനക്കു അസാദ്ധ്യമായതു ഒന്നുമില്ല.

18 Doing kindness to thousands, and recompensing iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their sons after them; God, the great, the mighty, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name,

നീ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളം ദയകാണിക്കയും പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നു അവരുടെ ശേഷം അവരുടെ മക്കളുടെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ പകരം കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; മഹത്വവും വല്ലഭത്വവുമുള്ള ദൈവമേ, സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നല്ലോ നിന്റെ നാമം.

19 Great in counsel, and mighty in act, in that Thine eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of Adam, to give to each according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

നീ ആലോചനയിൽ വലിയവനും പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ ശക്തിമാനും ആകുന്നു; ഓരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നും പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലത്തിന്നും തക്കവണ്ണം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ മനുഷ്യരുടെ എല്ലാവഴികളിന്മേലും ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.

20 In that thou hast done signs and wonders in the land of Egypt unto this day, and in Israel, and among men, and Thou dost make for Thee a name as [at] this day.

നീ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തും ഇന്നുവരെയും യിസ്രായേലിലും മറ്റു മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിലും അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ നിനക്കു ഒരു നാമം സമ്പാദിക്കുകയും

21 'And Thou bringest forth Thy people Israel from the land of Egypt, with signs and with wonders, and by a strong hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great fear,

നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ അടയാളങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും മഹാഭീതികൊണ്ടും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരികയും

22 And thou givest to them this land that thou didst swear to their fathers to give to them, a land flowing with milk and honey,

അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കൊടുപ്പാൻ നീ അവരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തതായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ഈ ദേശത്തെ അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

23 And they come in, and possess it, and they have not hearkened to Thy voice, and in Thy law have not walked, all that which Thou didst lay a charge on them to do they have not done, and Thou dost proclaim [to] them all this evil.

അവർ അതിൽ കടന്നു അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കി; എങ്കിലും അവർ നിന്റെ വാക്കു അനുസരിക്കയോ നിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണംപോലെ നടക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല; ചെയ്‌വാൻ നീ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതൊന്നും അവർ ചെയ്തില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ അനർത്ഥം ഒക്കെയും നീ അവർക്കു വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24 'Lo, the mounts — they have come in to the city to capture it, and the city hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it, because of the sword, and the famine, and the pestilence; and that which Thou hast spoken hath come to pass, and lo, Thou art seeing;

ഇതാ, വാടകൾ! നഗരത്തെ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു! വാളും ക്ഷാമവും മഹാമാരിയും ഹേതുവായി ഈ നഗരം അതിന്നു നേരെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്ന കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ അരുളിചെയ്തതു സംഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ അതു കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.

25 Yet Thou hast said unto me, O Lord Jehovah, Buy for thee the field with money, and cause witnesses to testify — and the city hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans!'

യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നഗരം കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കെ, നിലം വിലെക്കു മേടിച്ചു അതിന്നു സാക്ഷികളെ വെക്കുവാൻ നീ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

26 And the word of Jehovah is unto Jeremiah, saying:

അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

27 'Lo, I [am] Jehovah, God of all flesh: For Me is anything too wonderful?

ഞാൻ സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; എനിക്കു കഴിയാത്ത വല്ല കാര്യവും ഉണ്ടോ?

28 'Therefore, thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he hath captured it;

അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിലും ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അതിനെ പിടിക്കും.

29 And come in have the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city, and they have set this city on fire, and have burned it, and the houses on whose roofs they made perfume to Baal, and poured out libations to other gods, so as to provoke Me to anger.

ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ നേരെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്ന കല്ദയർ കടന്നു നഗരത്തിന്നു തീ വെച്ചു അതിനെ, എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മേല്പുരകളിൽവെച്ചു ബാലിന്നു ധൂപംകാട്ടി അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു പാനീയബലി പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന വീടുകളോടുകൂടെ ചുട്ടുകളയും.

30 For the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have been only doing evil in Mine eyes, from their youth; for the sons of Israel are only provoking Me with the work of their hands — an affirmation of Jehovah.

യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും യെഹൂദാമക്കളും ബാല്യംമുതൽ എനിക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു മാത്രം ചെയ്തുവന്നു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതേയുള്ളു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31 'For a cause of Mine anger, and a cause of My fury, hath this city been to Me, even from the day that they built it, and unto this day — to turn it aside from before My face,

അവർ ഈ നഗരത്തെ പണിത നാൾമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും ഞാൻ അതിനെ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയത്തക്കവണ്ണം അതു എനിക്കു കോപവും ക്രോധവും വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

32 Because of all the evil of the sons of Israel, and of the sons of Judah that they have done, so as to provoke Me — they, their kings, their heads, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും യെഹൂദാമക്കളും അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളും ചെയ്ത സകലദോഷവുംനിമിത്തം തന്നേ.

33 And they turn unto Me the neck, and not the face, and teaching them, rising early and teaching, and they are not hearkening to accept instruction.

അവർ മുഖമല്ല, പുറമത്രേ എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു; ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ അവരെ ഉപദേശിച്ചു പഠിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടും ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊൾവാൻ അവർ മനസ്സുവെച്ചില്ല.

34 'And they set their abominations in the house over which My name is called, so as to defile it;

എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആലയത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ അതിൽ മ്ലേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.

35 And they build the high places of Baal, that [are] in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through to Molech, which I did not command them, nor did it come up on my heart to do this abomination, so as to cause Judah to sin.

മോലെക്കിന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ബെൻഹിന്നോംതാഴ്‌വരയിൽ ബാലിന്റെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ പണിതു; ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു യെഹൂദയെക്കൊണ്ടു പാപം ചെയ്യിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ അതു തോന്നീട്ടുമില്ല.

36 'And now, therefore, thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, concerning this city, of which ye are saying, It hath been given into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword, and by famine, and by pestilence,

ഇപ്പോൾ, വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിവയാൽ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ നഗരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:

37 Lo, I am gathering them out of all the lands whither I have driven them in Mine anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath, and I have brought them back unto this place, and have caused them to dwell confidently;

എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും ക്രോധത്തിലും മഹാരോഷത്തിലും ഞാൻ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ സകലദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ ശേഖരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തി അതിൽ നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും.

38 and they have been to Me for a people, and I am to them for God;

അവർ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

39 and I have given to them one heart, and one way, to fear Me all the days, for good to them, and to their sons after them:

അവർക്കും അവരുടെ ശേഷം അവരുടെ മക്കൾക്കും ഗുണംവരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ എന്നെ എന്നേക്കും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഏകമനസ്സും ഏകമാർഗ്ഗവും കൊടുക്കും.

40 and I have made for them a covenant age-during, in that I turn not back from after them for My doing them good, and My fear I put in their heart, so as not to turn aside from me;

ഞാൻ അവരെ വിട്ടുപിരിയാതെ അവർക്കു നന്മ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ അവരോടു ഒരു ശാശ്വതനിയമം ചെയ്യും; അവർ എന്നെ വിട്ടുമാറാതെയിരിപ്പാൻ എങ്കലുള്ള ഭക്തി ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ആക്കും.

41 and I have rejoiced over them to do them good, and have planted them in this land in truth, with all my heart, and with all My soul.

ഞാൻ അവരിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവർക്കു ഗുണം ചെയ്യും. ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടും കൂടെ അവരെ ഈ ദേശത്തു നടും.

42 'For thus said Jehovah: As I brought in unto this people all this great evil, so I am bringing in on them all the good that I am speaking concerning them;

യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു ഈ വലിയ അനർത്ഥമൊക്കെയും വരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാനന്മയും അവർക്കു വരുത്തും.

43 and bought hath been the field in this land of which ye are saying, A desolation it [is], without man and beast, it hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു, കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ ദേശത്തു അവർ നിലങ്ങളെ വിലെക്കു മേടിക്കും.

44 Fields with money they buy, so as to write in a book, and to seal, and to cause witnesses to testify, in the land of Benjamin, and in suburbs of Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, and in cities of the hill-country, and in cities of the low country, and in cities of the south, for I turn back their captivity — an affirmation of Jehovah.'

ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ബെന്യാമീൻദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും മലനാട്ടിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും താഴ്‌വീതിയിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും തെക്കെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആളുകൾ നിലങ്ങളെ വിലെക്കു മേടിച്ചു ആധാരങ്ങൾ എഴുതി മുദ്രയിട്ടു സാക്ഷികളെയും വെക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
