Jeremiah 28
1 And it cometh to pass, in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, spoken unto me hath Hananiah son of Azur the prophet, who [is] of Gibeon, in the house of Jehovah, before the eyes of the priests, and all the people, saying,
ആയാണ്ടിൽ, യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ ആരംഭത്തിങ്കൽ, നാലാം ആണ്ടിൽ അഞ്ചാം മാസത്തിൽ, ഗിബെയോന്യനായ അസ്സൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും സൎവ്വജനത്തിന്റെയും മുമ്പിൽവെച്ചു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 'Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon;
യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
3 Within two years of days I am bringing back unto this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon hath taken from this place, and doth carry to Babylon,
ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു എടുത്തു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ആലയംവക ഉപകരണങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകം ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തും;
4 And Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the removed of Judah, who are entering Babylon, I am bringing back unto this place — an affirmation of Jehovah; for I do break the yoke of the king of Babylon.'
യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഖൊന്യാവെയും ബാബേലിലേക്കു പോയ സകലയെഹൂദാബദ്ധന്മാരെയും ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തും; ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
5 And Jeremiah the prophet saith unto Hananiah the prophet, before the eyes of the priests, and before the eyes of all the people who are standing in the house of Jehovah,
അപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്ന സകലജനവും കേൾക്കെ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:
6 Yea, Jeremiah the prophet saith, 'Amen! so may Jehovah do; Jehovah establish thy words that thou hast prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the house of Jehovah and all the removal from Babylon, unto this place.
ആമേൻ, യഹോവ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുമാറാകട്ടെ; യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം വക ഉപകരണങ്ങളെയും സകലബദ്ധന്മാരെയും അവൻ ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തുമെന്നു നീ പ്രവചിച്ചവാക്കുകളെ യഹോവ നിവൎത്തിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ!
7 'Only, hear, I pray thee, this word that I am speaking in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people.
എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ നിന്നോടും സകലജനത്തോടും പറയുന്ന ഈ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊൾക.
8 The prophets who have been before me, and before thee, from of old, even they prophesy concerning many lands, and concerning great kingdoms, of battle, and of evil, and of pestilence.
എനിക്കും നിനക്കും മുമ്പു പണ്ടേയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാർ അനേകം ദേശങ്ങൾക്കും വലിയ രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്കും വിരോധമായി യുദ്ധവും അനൎത്ഥവും മഹാമാരിയും പ്രവചിച്ചു.
9 The prophet who doth prophesy of peace — by the coming in of the word of the prophet, known is the prophet that Jehovah hath truly sent him.'
സമാധാനം പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന പ്രവാചകനോ അവന്റെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകുമ്പോൾ, അവൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു യഹോവ അയച്ച പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നു തെളിയും എന്നു യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ പറഞ്ഞു;
10 And Hananiah the prophet taketh the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, and breaketh it,
അപ്പോൾ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു ആ നുകം എടുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിട്ടു,
11 And Hananiah speaketh before the eyes of all the people, saying, 'Thus said Jehovah, Thus I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, within two years of days, from off the neck of all the nations;' and Jeremiah the prophet goeth on his way.
സകലജനവും കേൾക്കെ; ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകം ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ നുകം സകലജാതികളുടെയും കഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകനോ തന്റെ വഴിക്കു പോയി.
12 And there is a word of Jehovah unto Jeremiah after the breaking, by Hananiah the prophet, of the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു നുകം എടുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
13 'Go, and thou hast spoken unto Hananiah, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Yokes of wood thou hast broken, and I have made instead of them yokes of iron;
നീ ചെന്നു ഹനന്യാവോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു നീ മരം കൊണ്ടുള്ള നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു പകരം നീ ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ളൊരു നുകം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
14 For thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, A yoke of iron I have put on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they have served him, and also the beast of the field I have given to him.'
എങ്ങനെയെന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ളോരു നുകം ഞാൻ ഈ സകലജാതികളുടെയും കഴുത്തിൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അവനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ അവന്നു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
15 And Jeremiah the prophet saith unto Hananiah the prophet, 'Hear, I pray thee, O Hananiah; Jehovah hath not sent thee, and thou hast caused this people to trust on falsehood.
പിന്നെ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകനോടു: ഹനന്യാവേ, കേൾക്ക! യഹോവ നിന്നെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല; നീ ഈ ജനത്തെ ഭോഷ്കിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
16 Therefore thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am casting thee from off the face of the ground; this year thou diest, for apostasy thou hast spoken concerning Jehovah.'
അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഈ ആണ്ടിൽ നീ മരിക്കും; നീ യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി മത്സരം സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
17 And Hananiah the prophet dieth in that year, in the seventh month.
അങ്ങനെ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ആയാണ്ടിൽ തന്നേ ഏഴാം മാസത്തിൽ മരിച്ചു.
